Rosa Lopez is living at a women's shelter while struggling to get out of the city by acquiring her massage therapy license. She knows this is the only way out of her predicament. A predicament that has her hiding from her stepfather Michael Jones. As a cop, Michael is very likely to find her. Although he scares her, she knows his dark, scary secrets.
One night Rosa is propositioned by a stranger who offers her enough money to keep her well hidden for a long while. Upon hearing the stranger’s name; Angelus Rex, she is unsure how to proceed. Even she has heard of the vampire king and of his reputation to proposition a multitude of young women. Rosa’s decision will not only change her life forever but Angelus and Michael’s as well.
This love story shows the reader that true love can easily change opinions, attitudes, and beliefs! There are few obstacles it cannot overcome. I enjoyed this short, sweet story.

Mates

Who knew that taking the offer of warmth and safety for the night would change your life forever. It also helps that you're running from your past, into the arms of your future. The characters are strong willed and ready for love. Even if they didn't realize it. The extra stories are a great bonus.

I really liked this story but it was so short. I seriously had the potential to be a great book. The basis of the characters was good, and the all around story was good, but it jumped time from weeks to months to a climatic finish at the end and the HEA. It had the potenetial to be a great book, to learn more about Angelus the vampire king and his human Rosa.

This was short. And I mean so so short. With it being so short you never connected with the characters. I really liked the premise of this story but the excursion was not there. If you want a super fast 30 min read go for it.

Angelus got more than what he bargained for when he asked Rosa to be the mother of his child. When all of the action was done and reality sunk in, Rosa and Angelus will be able to last more than a lifetime to love one another.

Short short short story

I knew there were added books to this, but more like Freeking SHORT!! My kindle read 16% not sure how many pages for the whole story "Owned by the Vampire King." I read it in an hour. This story COULD have been Soooo much better if the author would have slowed the pace down. It was more like a one night stand or a quickie. I didn't waste my time on any of the other stories. I like good long 300-400 pages of a trilogy.

Loved it. What a way to have a night go. And then to wake up that way. and to get the abilities she does. Very well written. Very exciting, fun, suspenseful, hot, full of surprises. Well worth reading. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
