Heart of Stone

Rate this book
Rebecca Hudson finally had her life all mapped out after surviving a kidnapping and gunshot injury, or so she thought. Full of vigor and enthusiasm, she returned to her hometown only to find an ailing mother and two devious and unscrupulous sisters. A few weeks later she is at their mercy, planning a funeral, unemployed and harboring an unexpected surprise.
Stone Michaels was a man with a dark and shattered past he felt was well deserving of a careless young street thug and headstrong son. He's accepted guilt and a lonely, lifetime of unhappiness as his fate. Then he meets feisty, no nonsense Rebecca who eventually “storms” her way into his life--and his heart.
Will a chance encounter help Becca and Stone finally find true love—or will he allow his past to tear them completely apart?
Will the cold heart of Stone “produce” another cold “heart of stone?”
Can Becca’s wicked sisters give up their sibling rivalry and become real loving sisters?
Will family leader Uriel “angered heart” turn to “a forgiven heart?”
Will Becca turn to her old college friend, Aaron Black or does Stone truly hold her heart?

Awesome Read

This is such a great book I laughed, cried, and wanted to kick Rebecca's sisters behind. The love between this family and their extended family of the Howard's, the Singletons, and the Whalens is off the chain. Ms Vivian you keep on writing and I will most definitely keep on reading!!!!!

Good series

This is such a good series. I like the family camaraderie and the issues that were tackled. Sometimes those who are suppose to love you, hurt you the most. Love can conquer all and forgiveness is for the wronged party. Life is too short, love and let go

Second story, twice as nice

The second one was the charm. Rebecca tamed Stone. She had his heart from the very first meeting. He just needed to accept the fact that he was shipped by a miniature little lady. Loved this story.

It was OK

There was a good subplot in this story with Stone’s street past however it really wasn’t well developed and left the reader wanting more. It was a good read al the same.

Heart of stone - Stone and Rebecca

This is a new author and series for me. I like the alpha males and the strong alpha women in the story. The villains were villainous.

Riveting

I enjoyed this book just as much as the others in the heart series. Quiana is my favorite. She is so strong and smart and open to the people who support her and trust her. However, I am so curious about the other woman in the story,, Cleo. Please I know there is a great story there. Hope we will not wait to long. Great writing.

Heart of Stone turned into a heart full of Love....

This second series book, Heart of Stone, in my opinion is the best thus far! I just loved Stone and Rebecca! This book had me feeling so many emotions. It just broke my heart to see Stone so broken. But I was overjoyed to see Rebecca penetrate through that wall he had. Gosh, even though Stone was a very closed off and hard man, I am glad he was able to overcome his demons and find love again and forgive himself. I love the family unit of the bothers and sister. It truly is a brotherhood! Great book! Loved it from beginning to the end! Can't wait to see what's up with Uriel and Cleo!

Phenomenal Read 📚 👏🏾 ✨️ 💯 ❣️

Little beauty and the beast! I loved Becca and her feisty self. Stone bka Gigantor was sweet and genuine with his so damn cute Lady once he got his act together. The story was multi-layered and adventurous. Even the villains were good at being bad. The family was epic at sticking together and helping others as they went along. The spice level was good as well. This was a phenomenal read 📚 👏🏾 ✨️ 💯 ❣️

Good read

Good read filled with lots of action and drama. The story kind of started off slow and Rebecca's character was annoying at times, but the ending made up for the difference. Looking forward to the next installment.
