An unwilling billionaire, a one-night-stand, and a secret baby. Stephanie had never liked clubs, but she attends the opening night of Cherry Pop Nightclub and ends up with Damian, a total stranger who happens to be a great lover. But the next morning, he’s a prick. A billionaire jerk. She’s just a one-night stand. Stephanie can handle that, if only she didn’t get the surprise of her life a few weeks later. Things couldn’t get worse. It was one thing being a one-night stand to a jerk; it’s another having a baby for a prick who’s unwilling to recognize her presence. Damian is the devil in a suit. Girls love him. He knows it. But, he’s not ready for a commitment. Not even with Stephanie. Secret Baby is a sexy romance series! This is book one of three books. All three books are complete and published!
OK well this review is for all three cause well... it's one of 'those' books. The ones that get split into 3 or more parts to make you pay more.
Damian is an unforgivable ass and Stephanie is a doormat. They have an ONS and the author gives you both POVs. His shows no glimmer of true interest in her. I doubt he even remembers her name. The next morning he gives her the boot. But then of course, there are consequences and she does tell him. Which doesn't go well. Mostly because he doesn't want to take responsibility. In all 3 books he is a weasel trying to ignore his responsibilities. Not that it's required that he love her or marry her. But he told her that they were dating, but then he basically continues his manho ways. If not for his bff pushing him continually towards Stephanie I doubt he would have ever married her. He was such a manchild. I did not feel the 'love'. A case of the author telling over showing. He's supposed to be taking over his father's company but yet he is also a hugely famous male model. 'Cause you know it would be totally possible to do both jobs...(roll my eyes). Stephanie is about as interesting as the weeds in my front walk... actually the weeds are more interesting.
Too short? Didn't like the characters. Also, it's a trilogy. I'm going to read the second after typing this but I believe its the story of ONE novella in THREE very short books. Um, why.
I did not like him at all - he is a spoiled rotten, playboy who is too full of himself and never redeemed himself to me. I kept reading for his miraculous makeover but it just happened too late and too suddenly. Maybe if it would have been hinted he had some special feelings or thoughts of her but there just really was nothing - I never got the feeling he thought she was anything special and it sucked.
I cried a bunch for her. She deserved so much better than him.
She gets pregnant after a one night stand. He throws money at her and tells her to go away. She wants him around for their baby and invites him to the ultrasound. He seems semi impacted by the ultrasound saying they can be dating. But then he just has sex with her and disappears again.
Hea super quick turnaround he proposes and of course she caves and says yes even though the dude was going to have sex with someone else and he kept treating her like shit. There is a wedding and wedding night where he is constantly saying “I love you”

This story moves fast and I'm glad that I have Kindle Unlimited because I would be upset to pay for the beginning portion of a book just for it to end. What I read was good though. The H is a bit of a jerk. I can't wait to see how she spins this.
I liked this book and Stephanie and Darla's characters. The story had an even flow to it, even if it is shorter than I'm familiar with.
Stephanie Sanders is a recent college graduate looking for a teaching position. After weeks of nothing, her best friend Darla insists that they attend the grand opening of Cherry Pop Nightclub. There she sees playboy extraordinaire Damian Masters.
Every man wants to be him and every woman wants to be with him. So when she finds herself caught in his cross hairs, not only can she not believe that he's talking to her, but she can't believe that he wants to spend time with her outside of the club.
Damian Masters is looking for his next conquest. He doesn't do relationships and the women that he is with know this. If the expect anything more, they won't get it. Not now, not ever! So when he goes outside of his comfort zone and approaches the woman with the robin's egg blue shirt, he knows that she's different. Unfortunately for her, he is the same Damian that he has always been and anything other than one night isn't in the cards.
a bit to short for my taste, good idea but you have to continue reading for the title to make sense But if you like a quick short bed time story every night - I do recommend it for that purpose ;-) happy reading - book4breakfast
