About the author

Amelia C. Adams is a wife, a mother, and a novelist. She spends her days dreaming up stories and her nights writing them down. Her biggest hero is her husband, and you might just see bits and pieces of him as you read her novels.

She loves all things historical and enjoys learning about days gone by, but she's glad she was born more recently (she won't say how recently or not recently) because the Internet is awesome, and she's glad she doesn't have to wash her clothes by hand in a galvanized tub. All mixed up in Idaho

Take one FBI argent and a murder writing waitress in a small town dinner.
On a MT. Ranch, and you have a real crazy mixed up, fun loving mystery on your hands.
Now add fairies and you have one fun who dun it mystery to read.

This one is about another of the cafe's waitresses, one that likes to write, and an FBI agent that arrived to the River's End Ranch by luck, when he was told to go away and have some time off. It's an interesting book of romance and misunderstandings. This one wasn't part of the Weston family, but still included a lot about the ranch and life there.

Jack's partner in the FBI just died during a case, and his boss sent him away so he could clear his mind and get over what happened. He just got into his car and started driving, arriving at Kelsey's Kafe, where Liz was his waitress. She recommended him to stay at the Ranch and since he had nothing better to do, decided to stay there. At first, Liz thinks that Jack is a drifter, but when he starts going into the cafe with expensive clothes, she starts thinking he is a criminal, either way she is curious about him, and since she is a writer, and wants to include him in one of his books, she decides to go out with him so she can get to know more about him. Jack overhears Liz talking about getting rid of a body, and since he doesn't know she is a writer and is brainstorming for her book, he thinks she killed someone, and decides to spend more time with her to investigate.

They go hiking and while being away from everyone, both are doing their best to get to know more about each other, and then Jack tells her all about how his partner died and how sad he is, and she comforts him. After that, they start spending time together and falling for each other, but Jack can't live without his job, it's what he is good at, and his place is not River's End, and Liz likes her little community too much.

When his boss gets a tip for a case Jack is working on, he has to go earlier than he expected, and Liz is not happy about that, they have a fight, but as soon as he gets away, he realizes he made a mistake and sends her flowers and his phone number in case she wants to talk to him, but by the time she receives the flowers he is already working his case and his phone is off. After a few days, he finally rescues some women and kids, victims of human trafficking. He can't go back yet, since he is still trying to apprehend the guy behind the trafficking ring. Liz watches a press conference about the case and realizes how important Jack's job is, and since she can write from anywhere, she decides to go to him. Everyone at the ranch supports her, and Kelsi fires her so she has to go, and some people work together to give her some money. She goes to Jack, and Liz is a little concerned that maybe he won't want her there, but as soon as he sees her, he runs to her and when he finds out she loves him, he asks her to marry him.

Amelia never fails to write an amazing story. FBI agent and writers/authors intermingling and you have the makings for a very interesting story. Speculation and misunderstandings.... whoo whee!

Enjoyable

Jack shows up at the diner lost, he just lost his FBI partner & mentor and was given leave. His waitress Liz helps him. But something click with them. He gets called back to L.A. And she misses him like crazy.

Accidental Agent by Amelia C. Adams is a contemporary romance. Ms. Adams has delivered a well-written book. I love the characters. Liz is a waitress and author. Jack is an FBI agent taking time off after his partner is killed. Their story is loaded with humor, spice, with bits of suspense and action to keep readers engaged. I enjoyed reading Accidental Agent and would be happy to read more from Amelia C. Adams in the future. This book is appropriate for all ages. Accidental Agent is book 3 of the River's End Ranch but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

This 3rd book in the Rivers And Ranch series does not disappoint.

Jack goes on vacation to River's End Ranch & meets Liz at the diner.Liz goes Jack to get out of his comfort zone. I love the way Liz &Jack relate to each other. I was happy for more of Jaclyn, she is such a fun character I love that she shows up in each book! I laughed when Jaclyn told Jack she was his mother.

What is an FBI agent doing at RER? (Especially acute one) Is he on vacation or secretly undercover? Step aside crime solvers and CSI, Liz is on the case. As an FBI agent he is obligated to investigate when he hears someone plotting to get rid of a body – even if he is interested in her.

Yawn

I really tried to like this series of books. I should of stopped after the first one. All of the books just ended no romance and chemistry between the characters. So not real life. I was more interested in the other characters in the book.

I love this series of Weston family and friends. As book three in the series this one is about Liz who is a waitress at the cafe on the ranch who falls for Jack who is taking a vacation at River's End Ranch to clear his head. Well written and perfectly paced pulling you in from the start.

Okay and a short read!

I couldn't really get into the book or characters. I loved the first 2 books of the series. I will try the next book in the series.
