Using an eclectic selection of planters, including teapots, corks and jam jars, Holly Farrell presents more than 30 small-scale horticultural projects, from terrariums and single-pot landscapes to water and wildlife gardens; productive spaces to raise herbs, strawberries or micro-leaves; and installations utilizing wall and hanging space. Supplementary sections cover equipment, supplies and maintenance, plus a glossary of technical terms.
Miniature Garden Grower is aimed at adults but has the clarity and simplicity of a children’s book. There are loads of ideas for different little gardens such as fun little cacti scenes, herbs in a teapot and eco-system terrariums. And it’s from the Royal Horticultural Society so you can be sure the advice is proper.
Cute, very informative, nice pictures and drawings. Doesn't go into great detail or has very complex diagrams, but if you have common sense you can easily follow everything in this book.
This was a super little book, full of clear information and pretty pictures. There are clear, straightforward, instructions that are easy to follow and some great ideas for projects as well.
This would also be great if you are looking for some ideas for unusual gifts for friends and family, or even give the book itself!
