The cover is what grabbed my attention to buy this one! Zoe has some amazing covers! But I am biased if they cover has both beautiful beasts on it!
This is the first book in this series, and I already love it! Seth is intense but easy going. He is a loner but has no trouble racing back to help family when needed. Cassie is a workaholic who dreams of travel. This is another one of Zoe’s fabulous HEAs that makes me happy to read them. I love imagining everyone having an HEA for themselves. Zoe always has the perfect mix of action, steam, and intrigue to keep you reading until the end, and then you will want more!
I highly recommend reading this book to all my shifter lovin’ friends especially if big cats are special to your heart!

Seth is a wanderer. He’s happiest in the wilds of the world with no other humans in sight. Not that he stays in his human form all the time in his travels, but still he has the wanderlust bad and always has. Up until recently, when he’s beginning to wonder if this is what he truly wants out of life. He certainly hasn’t met his mate on his travels – and while roaming the world might be an adventure, it does get lonely at times. So when his older brother, Max, managed to get a message to him to return home, Seth didn’t hesitate. Max rarely asked for his help and maybe it was time to go home.. for a bit at least.
Cassie is a small town girl, living among the beauty of the mountains. While her job as administrative assistant isn’t exactly exciting, it at least makes the school loan payments each month. And like many others before her, she actually does more of her boss’ job than the jerk does himself. Which is why she often makes up stories about the people who work for one particular project. She’s never met any of them except through emails, and that’s odd in itself. But the numbers, equipment and people simply don’t add up… in more ways than one… so she spins elaborate tales and gets on with the job. She’d much rather be out hiking the beauty of the surrounding mountains as she has a bit of a wishful traveler’s mindset, but work has to come first.
Life is about to change for Cassie, in far more ways than she could have imagined. She’s, once again, been given her boss’ task of walking an IRS agent through the project books, all except one special project that her boss will handle – let’s call that try to hide.
Seth was on a different type of adventure for his brother Max. There are strong suspicions about one particular project by one of the huge conglomerate’s businesses. Seth is doing some undercover investigating. What he never expected to find was his mate. Sweet, funny, beautiful Cassie right here and he refused to lie to his mate.
What follows is dangerous, exciting and a love to last a lifetime. But first they need to shut down a research lab that should never have existed.
Lion’s Hunt is exactly what I always expect from Zoe Chant – a funny, engaging, sizzling adventure when two people find that one person who is perfect for them alone. Before these two world wanderers can set out on their own personal adventure, they have to stop some very bad people from exploiting Shifters. Their story is full of sexual tension, definitely burning up some sheets, and a very solid mystery to solve. It also sets up the groundwork for what I hope is the first of a connecting story or a series. Our stoic, serious businessman Max got quite the surprise, which he covered up very quickly, during this shutting down of the evil doctors. I’d love to see that played out in a series, because there are other siblings that could appear as well. So while I hope for more – I don’t know that there will be more… we’ll just have to wait and see.
I would definitely recommend Lion’s Hunt for any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader. You’ll find charming and sexy characters, as well as an engaging story.

Cassie and Seth's book is the start of what i hope is a new lion shifter seties by Zoe Chant . Cassie keeps books and is the personal assistant to a creep who dadhes out of the office every chance he gets, to go to a "secret" research lab in the mountains. He uses Cassie to do his dirty work with hiding what the cash outlays are really for, and while Cassie kniws something's not right, she doesn't know what to do about it. Enter Seth, the head of the company's younger brother and tasked to figure out where the money is going. And as it is the way with shifter mates, boom !! They meet and they know they are meant gor each other, the only problem us they don't realize how much danger they are in and just how evil what is happening at the lab is. Hot shifter sex, espionage, adventure, bad guys, and a love of travel bring Cassie and Seth through the worst 24 hours of their lives. Great first story !! 4⭐'s !!

Zoe Chant doesn’t play around with her writing. She knows what her readers want and she gives it to them. That is a sign of good Author. I have been reading her books for a while now and I must say that she has yet to disappoint me. Her books are thoughtful, well planned, organized, and have any and every emotion needed to make the book a success. Her story line grabs you at the beginning and holds your attention until the very end. The characters come to life inside the story line and you can’t help but find yourself imagining that you are one of those characters and your knight in shining armor has come to take you away from all that bad in your life. “Lion’s Hunt” delivers everything a well thought out and well written romance novel should and more. Trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed.
Cassie Shaw works as Assistant to a world class jerk, David (Dave) Crews. He is the regional manager for Rowland Global Solutions’ Rocky Mountain Office. This job also entailed a load of paperwork, and the most of it wound up at Cassie’s desk. Cassie really didn’t want to work. She craved to travel and meet people. Her job was boring and she spent a lot of time day dreaming. Dave spent the most of his time personally supervising the research sites. This meant that he wasn’t in the office very much. But what Cassie doesn’t know is that her office is the front for something very secret and sinister. Dave informs her that the office is being audited by the IRS and that she would oversee helping IRS man with the entire faculty except for the secret lab, and Dave would handle that. Cassie is expecting the IRS man to be middle aged and boring. She had no idea the IRS man was going turn out to be her one true love, a lion shifter, and a built like a GOD!!!
Seth Rowland is doing what he likes to do best, travel the world and visiting exotic places. He comes out of the Peruvian jungle and hadn’t been out long when his phone buzzes. Max Roland found his dads old partner was siphoning money from the company, a lot of money and it was going into something at the company office in the Rockies so he asked his brother Seth to look into it. When Seth got to the office he met the boss’s personal assistant, Cassie who turned out to be his mate. She recognises he is special and agrees to go with him to investigate what’s going on at this property. Cassie agrees to hang back just in case something happens and when Seth disappears through a door into a lot of guards she runs away and phones Max.

Cassie would love to be able to travel around the world but instead she has to work to pay for her college debts. But, once she has everything paid off she will go.

First in series. Cassie is an overworked personal assistant who just had an IRS audit dropped in her lap, being told to avoid mentioning the research facility that is cloaked in mystery. Seth is the lion shifter pretending to be an IRS auditor. He was called in by his brother to find out about the unknown facility. Cassie is his fated mate, and the sneaky key to finding this facility and what it entails. Her knowledge and bravery will be put to the test.

Fantastic job of storytelling and I can't get enough of this author. Zoe Chants books are one of the best around and I can't wait to start the next one in this series. If you're looking for an awesome author that really knows what she's doing then grab some of hers you can't go wrong.

Those fucking assholes have no rt 2 b high and mighty just cause they r human and they think that just cause the people r shifters and have a animal side that they aren't human like they r. Seth might b a rambling man that lives 2 go all over the world but when a family member calls he takes notice and helps any way he can and gets 1 he'll of a shock of what he finds as his bonus.

And I was excited to see their relationship develop.
But too much time was spent on her whining about her job, loans and many other details. Could have done so in 2 or 3 pages. Spent more time with him as the IRS agent angle, and dramatic rescue. As well as some afterwards of them meeting the familes.

bring it on
Rowland Lions series and book 1 called Lion’s Hunt is very interesting and hard to put down as I was so intrigued on finding out what was happening. Full of twists and turns and those that were plotting and planning along with kidnapping shifters

There have been huge amounts of money spent on a lab with no explanation that makes sense. Seth meets Cassie and realizes she is his mate and he hopes she isn't involved in the missing money. Thank you Zoe, this book is excellent.

There was a mutual attraction between Seth and Cassie from the instant they met. Seth couldn't keep lying to Cassie especially when he knew she was his mate. Cassie took the news about Seth's reality like a champ, she even helped him to discover what was really happening in Rocky Mountain.
Cassie and Seth got their HEA. I would like for the rest of the Rowland siblings to get their stories told as well.
LION'S HUNT is a standalone paranormal novel by Zoe Chant. It was beautifully written, the plot was well paced and the chemistry between Seth and Cassie was off the chart. A great book and a fantastic job by Mrs Chant.

Right is Right, Wrong is Wrong
Seth Rowland is a lion shifter who prefers being outside as opposed to being cooped up in an office. Currently, he was in a jungle overseas when he got a call from his brother, Max, who
was in New York. Max left a message that he needed Seth to come home as soon as possible. Seth knew it must be important if his brother was asking him to come home. He got the next plane home and walked into his brother's office the next day. His brother explained that the lab in the mountains was spending too much money, more than any of the other labs and he had a feeling something was very wrong. He would be recognized if he went there and asked Seth to go and pretend he was an IRS agent. Max never asked his brother to help before so Seth agreed to help find out what was going on. Cassie was the manager's administrative assistant and the minute Seth saw her, he realized she was his mate. They spent the whole day going over all the records. Seth suggested taking a break and they went for a walk at the edge of the forest. They talked for as while and then he kissed her. She didn't object; she was as drawn to him as he was to her. He confessed he wasn't an IRS agent, that he was the owner's brother and that they felt something was wrong. Cassie admitted she felt that way too and offered her help. Seth Rowland is a wonderer. He loves to travel and hike, but it is becoming lonely. He is the younger brother to the Alpha of their very wealthy Lions Pride. While on an adventure he receives word to return. His older brother needs him for a specific mission. He never imagined what he would find.
Cassie Shaw works as an assistant. She is very smart and is really tired of doing her boss's job and him taking all the credit. She knows something is quite not right with one of their mysterious facilities. Things don't add up. She is very curious, but she can't think about because now her boss is skirting his responsibilities once again. She is going to have to spend time with an IRS agent who is coming in to audit the company. She is surprised to see this Golden mane man who walks in and takes her breath away.
I enjoyed this story and I look forward to Max's story, their appeared to be a hint in this story.

Cassie has a mundane life, paying her college fees, working for a man she doesn't fully trust. Wondering what's going on in her workplace. What Cassie really rather be doing is traveling the world, preferably with someone else. Seth left home with his brothers blessing at eighteen to travel the world. After six years he's growing tired of the solitary life. When his brother Max asks for help, Seth could not refute. When he walks in the front door and discovers his mate, his life changes in a way he never expected. Cassie never dreamed she could feel the way she does for Seth, and when he is in danger her world changes.
Zoe has started this new series brilliantly, I can't wait to read the rest.

Good Read
Fast read, Seth Rowland was not cut out to work in the family business, he liked solitude. Hiking in other countries spending time outside. Cassie is an administrative assistant at one of the Rowland companies. She is doing all of the work that her boss should be doing when she noticed some of the expenditures are not adding up. Max Rowland, Seth's brother and CEO notice the same expenditures that when he Seth in as an IRS agent to fine out what is going on.

Lion's Hunt by Zoe Chant is a fairly short paranormal romance, a great choice for those with limited time for reading. Ms Chant has penned a fantastic story. Her characters are perfect for this story. Cassie and Seth's story is a fun read with plenty of action, drama, humor and smokin' hot sexy bits. I enjoyed Lion's Hunt and look forward to reading more from Zoe Chant in the future. Lion's Hunt is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I love this book had an excellent plot a proven conspiracy. Also I would love to read about seth's brother. Max I would totally ship max with the cheetah. And Kevin the panther with max's sister than it would be a one. Big happy family

Lion's Hunt
You have got to read her books,they are great.This book makes you want to believe in a happily ever after.Love comes in all shapes and sizes.It would be nice to meet a nice lion shifter.Cassie couldn't believe the torcher that some of the shifters had to endure.This story will keep you on the edge of your seat til you are done reading it.

Hunt is on!
Wow, I am trying to get my words out here. This story was amazing. Some Chant has done it again. Seth and Cassie and of course now Max and Shoshanna! That lion king is going to have a big fall. Please tell me this story will be coming out soon! Thank you for another great story Ms. Chant. If you haven't read it yet you will fall in love just like I did.
