I found this book to very relatable with practical advice. Although it is dated to recommended resources such as phone books. She describes what it is to be a widow and how to navigate her new life.

15 years after her husband's death, Lynn Caine writes a follow-up to her important book "Widow", which was the first of its kind. This book attempts to provide guidance to the widow, to explain how to cope with all the challenges of widowhood: physical, emotional, sexual and well as financial. Very intuitive, peppered with lots of firsthand stories widows have told.

Definitely informational. Covers a lot of topics, but applies more to an older widow.
