What can I say to that? Ethan's really good at keeping his promises...

Earlier today, Ethan opened the door for me like the bad boy gentleman he is, which basically means that right after I walked past him he smacked my butt. It's not all naughtiness, though. Our relationship is interesting like that.
He says I'm like a flower that wants to blossom. I think I already have, but Ethan makes me feel like I can do it even more. His kiss sends shivers through my body, a trembling transformation, like I'm becoming something else or someone else entirely.
I don't know when I changed. Maybe it started a long time ago, or maybe it was last summer when Ethan and I slept together, or maybe it wasn't even then and it was later that week when he flew on a plane to save me. He was just my stepbrother with benefits at the time. Have I mentioned I really like benefits?
Maybe I changed sometime during the summer we spent together. It might have been right before we came back to school, our last night, when we cuddled in bed together for what seemed like the last time.
Maybe it was sometime after that. Or maybe it's right now.
Once this is all done, and once I have my revenge against Jake, I won't keep anymore secrets. We can be together without anything getting in our way. I'm going to tell Ethan everything after this. I'll tell him what I did.
I hope he won't be mad at me.

Though I finished all installments up to this point and found the series very funny in a lot of places, I'm not giving any of them more than three stars for the following reasons:
1. Takes too long to tell the story. Each season is like a couple of days. It can take three books to get through one day.
2. Repetitiveness. The chapters alternate between the two main characters, the author has chosen at times to repeat what has happened from a different perspective in many occasions. To me this isn't an issue if you have a shorter series. But when it happens with within 19 different installments and some are pretty long, then it becomes monotonous.
3. The fact that I've read through 19 installments and it's still not done... UGH! Let's move on already.
But that being said, sometimes the interactions between Ashely and Ethan are hilarious and their inner musings. Scarlet and Caleb are interesting as well.
I'm not really sure I buy either of them being so obtuse, but I guess it's possible since they've stuck themselves in the friend zone for most to their lives.
I have no idea how much longer this will go. Not sure I want to continue. It was just my obsessive compulsiveness coming out that makes me finish anything I start, that pulled me through this far.

Fun times!
Sometimes the characters are silly, but they’re always a lot of fun. They’re teenagers! As usual, this book left me wanting more. I expect the unexpected and enjoy the heck out of getting it! Right now I’m rather torn, I can’t wait to read stepbrother 20, but I don’t want their story to end! I look forward to reading more about Caleb and Scarlet, and hope to see more of Britney too!

I love these books!!
The stuff these two go through with their friends is so funny. I laugh more with each and every book. They get into some funny situations. They are serious ones, too, of course. Brittany took a big chance in this one too hello her friends.

This weekend the friends are back at Ashley 's school. I would not say that I disliked or loved the book completely , for me it just had lots of swearing ,, which I think does not appropriately sit well with me for college students .

That Went South Pretty Quick
The group finally made their way to another college but this is Ashley's domain now. The only problem, Ashley has not spent alot of time doing anything but attending class and studying. Oh, and grandma makes a cameo appearance as well.

Ok, expecting better and more
Disappointed, waited a long time for continuation of this fun story and it felt it was just dragging. The story started fun and new at the beginning, but it just started dragging. Too much side tracking on characters and there way of thinking. Ethan sounds dumber and Ashley too. Scarlet sounds horrible with all that cussing. Too much and silliness of what characters where thinking. It seems the author just had to turn in a story, but with nothing to tell. I really hope she ends the story well at least for all the people that had been waiting. It's a fun story but now it just too dumb I skip through a lot of pages to get to a point. Hoping for a good ending.

Not as good.
This book was a disappointment after all the other books in series. It was a lot of words about nothing. It is great they are all friends but this was full of stupid thoughts mostly. I don't feel like it helped the story at all. It was really hard for me to keep interest in this book. All the other books in this series was great. This one is not. There is just a small amount that really means anything to the story. I sure hope the next one has a better story line and can finally tell us how Ashley will get her revenge against her creep of an ex boyfriend. And now revenge for Brittney too. Please no more stupid stuff like this this book had. I want to continue being a fan.

Confused
I have been a big fan of this series and the interaction between Ethan and Ashley, but for some reason I couldn't get into this one as much as the others. It was just a little drawn out with off topic things maybe if there was more to the revenge part it would have been more captivating, but as is it was a little bit of a let down. Don't get me wrong I am still a big fan just wish this was a little better. Still looking forward to Ethan and Ashley's final book

Great books
I love these books! I am completely addicted. Ethan and Ashley are a great passionate couple and I can't wait to see how they turn out. Also I love Scarlett and Caleb! Caleb needs to make Scarlett feel like a princess and tell her how he feels. If it is up to Scarlett I don't think she will tell him because she won't even admit it to herself. Keep these stories going!!! Thanks!

though i actually read till the end and very much enjoyed the beginning books - i ended up feeling that the story was just so repative - i had to read till the end to see how they handled the exboyfriend but also felt that situation could have been taken care of at the airport after Ethan punched him out they could have just either taken or broken his phone than all evidence of the mistaking text and pic would have been gone.

after 6 months of waiting i thought this would be the last one. there was a lot of filler conversations that could have just been left out. I am disappointed that I have to wait for another book to see what happens when this book could have been the end, it was so close. well hopefully in 4 months when the next one comes out we find out what happens.

Ethan rambles on a lot in his head. IT makes him sound stupid. there is a lot of filler and no action in this book at all.

Always great!
I have loved all of Mia's Stepbrother with Benefits books. They've been great reads. Her writing style keeps me laughing and thoroughly entertained. Can't wait the next one!

I feel like these are kind of starting to drag on a little. Too many details/ inner thought and not enough action. It finally got good at the end then stopped. Now the wait till the final book to find out what happened.
