She should be furious. But she's falling for him, harder than she had ever imagined possible.

Dacron is an Ultra Draco prince who can shift from dragon to human shape. Only the Ultra Draco have this ability. Dacron and fellow younger prince Evec are approaching the peaceful planet Telene to attend a large gathering of Telenes and other alien races. Telene is one of Draco's favorite planets and he had not been there in several hundred years. Meanwhile on Telene, Aie'la and Bex'ia are thrilled to have an invitation to this fancy ball. They chatter as they try on various outfits and speculate whether they may actually get to see an Ultra Draco. Aie'la wants to see and talk to the famous blue Ultra Draco. Once at the party, they find it crowded with Telene residents and aliens of all descriptions, but no dragons yet. Aie'la steps out onto a patio to get away from the crowd and is attacked by a scary alien who is intent on dragging her away. She fights but is unable to scream with his hand over her mouth. Suddenly, the evil alien is no longer there. Instead she finds a tall handsome man as her rescuer. When they return to the party everyone turns towards them and a hush falls over the crowd. Aie'la realizes that her savior is her wished for blue Ultra Draco, Dacron. The longer she is near him, the more she wants him. Draco suspects that she is his mate, but he must test her to be sure. That will mean taking her to his lair. After Aie'la goes home, Draco arrives and tries to convince her to go with him to the skies and even to see their famous moon with its shining crystal. He is even more strongly attracted to Aie'la, and she to him. They kiss a bit, and then he puts her to sleep in her bed and leaves for the night. The next morning Dacron returns to her apartment in time to see a group of those same evil aliens trying once again to abduct her. Dacron has had enough! He carries her off to his lair on Telene's famous crystal moon. From here the story is filled with both their love for each other, and some hot sex scenes, several fascinating things that Dacron has accomplished over the past several hundred years, including his huge hoard of gold and gems. The evil dragon emperor has aligned himself with the worst of the aliens for gold and more gems in return for his help in destroying Telene and all of its inhabitants. Dacron hold Aie'la captive on the moon to keep her safe. Aie'la is furious.
Dacron plans to go against the multitude of evil and his emperor at the cost of his life. He believes his sacrifice of his horde and life is worth it, as long as Aie'la survives. Big battles ensue and at the end we get our HEA and even get to revisit with another Ultra Draco and his Earth-born human mate and their son. This was a delightful story with a well developed world building and plot. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank You Juno Wells and Luna Cassini! 5 well-earned stars from me.
“Leviathan” is the first book I read by Juno Wells and I have been reading the work of Juno Wells ever since. This is the second book I have read by Luna Cassini and I happen to think that she is a very good author as well. Science Fiction is one of several genres of books that I read and I have been reading a lot of them lately. “Dracon” is the second book in the Ultra Draco series. This is a book you do not want to miss. There are gorgeous prince dragon shifters, criminal aliens, corrupt dragons, fighting, and lots of good loving. What more can one ask for in a good book? Trust me when I say that you will not want to put it down.
Dacron isn’t any ordinary dragon. He is an Ultra Draco which means he is a prince, and he can shift from dragon to human. Not all dragons can shift into a human form. But like all dragons he has his lair and his horde. Dacron is the blue dragon and his well known throughout the galaxy. He has a love for the planet Telene and the people of the planet. He had seen to it that no dragon would harm the people of Telene. This is his first visit to the planet in many years and he has his friend and green dragon Evec with him. He has no expectations he is just visiting and showing Evec the planet. They are landing on the part of the planet where the Outreach Department is. They oversee the aliens that visit the planet. They are hosting a party that Dacron intends to crash. He has no idea that he is going to encounter his Fated Mate.
Telene is a planet that is way too trusting of aliens and they are a peaceful society where crime is non-existent, they trust each other, and they have gotten rid the problems that usually plague human societies. They are accepting, tolerant, and even welcome dragons. Aie’la is human and is going to her first Outreach party with her friend Bex’ia. They are hoping to meet a dragon. Aie’la runs into some trouble at the Outreach party where she is rescued by this handsome man who tells her she can call him Dacron, but can’t tell anyone. He escorts back into the party. She can’t believe how a man she just met could affect her as Dacron had. Dacron cannot believe that it is possible she is his fated mate. So, he decides to test her and see if it is true. He goes to get her to take her to take her to see his lair. When arrives at her place he must get her out of trouble again. So, he tells her he wants to take her to see the giant crystal embedded in their moon and she doesn’t realize that he is taking her to his lair. He shows her his horde which a mountain of gold and jewels. He knows then she is his mate because he doesn’t get the urge to kill her for seeing his horde. Aie’la is enjoying her time with him, and the sex is awesome. It takes her a spell to realize that she can’t leave. She can’t be mad at him because she is growing extremely attached to him. He must protect her, but will she forgive him for not telling her what is going on with her planet? Can Aie’la be happy on the moon with Dacron in his lair? Will Dacron be able to pull off a miracle and save Aie’la’s planet and home?
No Spoilers. Advanced Reader Copy read voluntarily.
The second book in the Ultra Draco series a well written story. This is Dacon a dragon shifter and Aie'la a Telenes' story, there is suspense, drama, danger, and romance. I enjoyed reading this story. I read a copy through KU and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
A short story of a man willing to risk it all to save his mate and a women bent on proving she isn't so meek. When the lives of a planet are at risk he asked questions he just can't get the answers he seeks, so he leaves her to her fate in his home. Thinking of his questions she wonders how to find a way out and her approach is anything but meek when she sees the truth of the matter. Can they both get out of it unscathed and together? Truly enjoyed this read. First meet, saving lives and learning a lesson in complacency. Although I doubt those lessons were forethought, it was just a great read. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy for an honest review. 4.5 rating round-up.

This is the second book in the Ultra Draco series and I absolutely loved it. A dragon may be nothing without his hoard, but once he finds his fated mate, he's nothing without her. He does everything he can to protect her, but she's not going to go along with it without a fight. I want my own alien dragon please. I can't wait to read the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Sci Fi at it's greatest! This book was amazing. Loved the aliens (even the bad ones) and there wonderful world. I had a really fun time reading this one, I hope to read a lot more about these terrific aliens and their world. I would definitely recommend it to everyone, you will not be disappointed.
