3.5 Megaballs Stars

When I fist read the blurb for this story, I HAD to get my hands on this one because it was so different and that is what I loved about it. Teague and and Finley were the complete opposites of each other but one generous tip brought them together and ultimately bonded them for life.

Finley Farewell is having one of the worst luck known to man kind. Everything that couldve gone wrong, went wrong. Finally making it to work, she begins her day as a waitress but when she serves up a new customer who happens to be the hottest thing she's ever seen, her luck is about to change. And it comes in the form of a lottery ticket worth $270 million dollars.

Teague has always had one goal of being successful. Now being the CEO of his Grandfather's business, he's now at the point where success has been a thing of a past with the company going under. But one thing Teague has always been able to do was work hard and that is what he plans on doing.

Having more money than she now knows what to do with, Finley's financial struggle is now a thing of the past. Along with her older sister who's vocabulary skills leaves you with a question mark, and her six year old niece that developed a British accent over night, Finley has other problems. But her biggest one of all is finding the mystery blue eyed stranger that gave her the winning ticket.

Like I said before, I really liked that this storyline was different and it had this freshnesss to it that made me pay close attention. With that being said, there were certain things that weren't right for me. I didn't FEEL the connection between Teague and Finley and I felt like the ending was too rushed.

I think if you're a fan of this author and you're looking for something completely different, then you'll like this one.

I went into Megaballs blind, and I was surprised in the best kind of way! It was a laugh out loud, quirky read - and exactly what I was looking when I picked it up. Megaballs was as much a story about family and self-discovery as it was about the romance between 21-year-old Finley and the mysterious man who left her the winning ticket in the lottery as payment at the restaurant where she works.

Finley wasn’t your typical college student, she seemed to have the weight of the world on her shoulders. Not only was she studying and working part time, she often found herself looking after her 6-year-old niece, Fiona as her sister (Farrah) was a bit of a loose cannon. I think like many of us Finley thought that winning $270 million would solve all her problems, but it turns out becoming an instant millionaire comes with a whole bunch of new problems - the biggest of which was having no idea who the mystery man who gave her the ticket was.

Teague is a business man from rural Iowa, who from a young age lived with his corn farming Grandpa. He left for the big smoke and went to college, and later returned wealthy and successful when an app he developed proved to be just the thing that farmers everywhere were looking for.

Telling the story from the dual points of view of Finley and Teague was a stroke of brilliance. These two spend most the book apart, which I didn’t mind because they were both on journeys of their own – some figurative, and some literal, such as the epic failure of a vacation the Farewell women find themselves on. Being able to live both their lives, and see what they were doing while apart only helped to make their reunion that much sweeter!

Fiona, where do I start with this lovable little girl? She stole the show for me (in a good way), Chapter 13 was pure genius and I loved everything about it!

My only complaint is that the ending felt a little rushed, everything seemed to be tied up in a neat little bow within a couple of pages. The epilogue helped with some of the questions I had, but I wanted more…more of Finley and Teague together, and a little more of Fiona wouldn’t have hurt either. ~ Tamara, 4 Stars

I have liked Erin Noelle's work in the past. This one was not my favorite.

This book can be forgiven because I know how this author typically writes.

Megaballs by Erin Noelle
3 stars!!!

“Wealth is not what you have in your bank account, but what you have in your heart.”

Erin Noelle tackles a new genre with her first foray into Romantic Comedy. Megaballs is a light hearted read with a healthy dose of Mr Sexy Eyes and a cute six-year-old kid that could have stood her own with the blue rinse brigade.

Finley Farewell is a young woman struggling to support herself, her sister and niece. While Finley’s sister has delusions of grandeur, Finley is more grounded, sensible and serious, she keeps their heads above water even though it feels like a sinking ship most of the time. Finley works at an Italian restaurant where the waitresses are akin to Hooters but more up market, relying on her tips to keep them afloat a sleazy manager is easy to stomach when the clientele are high rollers. Late once again because of her sister Finley is thrust into work where one of the men in her section catches her attention, well his eyes at least.

“That’s it, old man. Succumb to the power of the titties. You know you want to.”

Teague Goodman is the CEO of his family’s farm business, a young entrepreneur that has seen the business flourish and become a multi-million-dollar company. With success comes resentment and jealousy and none more so from the huge conglomerates that want even more of the lions share that they already have. Now in the fight of his life against one of the said greedy conglomerates, Teague’s bad day gets worse and off to drown his sorrows he ends up in the restaurant where Finley works.

Finley is a klutz and it seems that this trait of hers is desperate to get her in Teague’s lap in more ways than one. With laughs aplenty during their first meet I had tears as Finley definitely makes a hair raising impression. Mr Sexy Eyes as Finley calls him seems to reciprocate the intense chemistry however, when Finley’s back is turned Mr Sexy Eyes has gone leaving only a note on a lottery ticket. A lottery ticket that wins the Megaballs Jackpot that night.

Finley’s life is thrust into the spotlight and her life has definitely changed forever, but she cannot get Mr Sexy Eyes out of her mind. With a sister that is all about the money and how quick she can max out her cards and a meddling niece that only has her best interests at heart the search for Mr Sexy Eyes is on.

“…you can have all the money in the world, but until you truly love someone, it’s all just empty riches.”

Fiona, Finley’s niece made this book for me, written well beyond her years, her dry sense of humour and wise comments gave me a grin from ear to ear. At times I felt as if her dialogue was too “adult” but am aware that there are kids out there that are mini Einstein’s, but being the mother of a rather intelligent six-year-old myself I found it a tad unbelievable.

“Sometimes I swear there’s no possible way I can be her child. I mean, seriously. Not only do we look nothing alike, like as opposite as you can be and still have the same skin color, but I think my IQ surpassed hers in the womb.”

I did have a few laughs but for me this was more a contemporary romance. The romcom’s that I have read thus far are normally over the top or high on innuendo and while this had some witty banter I just felt that situations were included just to be funny, it felt a little forced, but funny none the less. In summary though, this was a cute read, a lot of fun and highly entertaining. I loved Finley and Teague as a couple and while it was instalust these two were really suited…sometimes you just know, I know I did.

4.5 Root Beer Stars

I know you have done it. Thought about how you would spend your lottery winnings. My lottery haul involves a real life Barbie Jeep and a trip to Rome. And a someone to clean my house. For life. Megaballs is Megafun. It's everyone's lottery dream.

Finley is trying to make it. She is taking care of her sister and her niece while going to school and serving lasagne in a Bay Area restaurant. She doesn't have time for much more. So when she decides to let herself cut loose, she is more than ready to have a one night stand. One night of fun is all she can afford.

That's it old man. Succumb to the power of the tittties.

Teague grew up far from the Golden Gate Bridge. More like Amber Waves of Grain. Or Corn. He has built his grandfather's farm into a large corporation. And enhanced the typical farm life with a heavy dose of technology. He has written an app that has made him rich and other agri-business nervous. His only goal is to make his grandfather proud of who he is and what he has accomplished.

Go the direction your heart leads you, son. That's the only path to true happiness.

When Teague is hungry for Italian food while on a ball busting business trip, he happens on to Finley's restaurant. He also happens to realize he has forgotten his wallet. He is not the ditch and dine type especially when he has has been flirting with the cute waitress. So he leaves a lottery ticket. And leaves behind any hope Finley had of having a good night.

Just keep the root beers coming and whatever you do, don't start any more fires. At least, not without me.

Of course the ticket wins. And changes Finley's life. And her niece's accent. And begins an adventure in spending, real estate deals, cooking, long lost relatives, religious body guards and room service.

Megaballs is loaded. Loaded with a sexy farmer and suddenly rich waitress who is just trying to keep her family sane. Not an easy task. You will love this fun, romantic tale of crossed paths and lucky encounters.

4 fun, fresh, sexy stars.

Megaballs is Erin Noelle's latest release and oh, so different from her previous releases. Megaballs was laugh out loud funny and filled with heart. A stellar cast makes up this whole story, that had me laughing from the start, and left me grinning like the cat that got the cream. Erin's way of pulling this story together was perfect and refreshing.

I absolutely loved the way Finley and Teague met. I loved how winning the lottery not only changed Finley's life but also that of her sister and Farrah and niece Fiona, who can I say, STOLE THE SHOW for me. That little six year old was comedy gold and I found myself laughing SO LOUD at the interactions within this whole family.

The relationship between Teague and Finely is sweet, sexy and light. I would really have liked them to have found each other earlier in the book, as the ending did seem a little rushed to me. But in saying that I really enjoyed the story in the middle and all the crazy fun going on.

Megaballs is a story of unlucky lovers, winning lottery tickets, sweet, sexy love and one of the funniest six year olds I've read in a long time!

4/5 Stars!!!

Spoiler Free Review

So, I was lucky enough to participate in the promos leading up to the release of Megaballs, so I was so ready to get this book in my hot little hands. I finally got a chance to read it and I can see what all the hype was about!

Finley is a college student who lives with her flaky sister, Farrah, and Farrah's uber smart six year old daughter Fiona. She waitresses at a local Italian restaurant and after arriving to work late, getting yelled and leered at by her creepy boss, she takes over a table and meets Mr. Sexy Eyes, or at least that is what she calls him. Unfortunately, even after their hot little exchange involving her face in his lap, a spilled drink and a hair vs watch failure, he skips out before paying his bill and giving her his name. He does leave her a lottery ticket and lo and behold, the next day Finley is all of a sudden a mutli-millionaire.

That's all I'm giving you about what happens because it would be an absolute travesty for you to not experience this book yourself.

So, let's talk about characters...
1. Finley - this poor girl is a klutz with the worst luck. She loves her sister and niece and her interactions with them are priceless. I really loved her obsession with Mr. Sexy Eyes.
2. Teague - a.k.a. Mr. Sexy Eyes. Teague is an enigma. In the prologue (told from his POV) he is a poor farm kid who gets bullied. Grown up Teague is a control freak with a hidden dominant side, but really he is still a farm kid who loves his Grandpa and is still getting bullied.
3. Farrah - poor Farrah is a ditz. Her grasp of the English language is shocking. She is fun comedic relief.
4. Fiona - Fiona steals the whole book. I am not kidding you. This six year old who wants to be on Master Chef Junior, has an IQ off the charts and speaks in a British accent just because was pricelessly hysterical and I loved her!

Fun moments - without giving anything away, here are some moments to watch out for:
1. What the heck is Teague reading on his phone while waiting in his lawyer's office. I honestly thought this was a joke and it is, sort of.
2. Finley's lap mishap
3. The speed dating scene...the entire scene had me busting a gut!
4. Teague and jessica and a rope.
5. The visit to their Uncle's homestead
6. Camping in a tent
7. Finley's little head injury.
8. Every moment with Fiona

There are so many hysterical moments in Megaballs. I loved that Finley and Teague weren't immediately thrown together and we got some real and solid character development for both of them. The supporting characters only add to the fun of the book.

I loved it. I know you will, too! Go buy it...NOW!

Twenty-one year old Finley is busting her butt to pay for college, and help her sister out with her six year old niece. On one of the worst days she's had, she meets a man who brings her to her knees (literally), as she feels an strong instant attraction to him. Then he leaves without paying the check, instead just leaving her a lottery ticket with apologies about a family emergency. It turns out that Finley was the sole winner of $270 million dollars from that ticket, so her life chances instantly overnight. She really thought he would contact her after seeing her win off of his ticket, but he never did. Her genius little niece hires someone to find him, so off they go in search of the man who left her all that money. Teague Goodman is a business tycoon, who is in the middle of a huge lawsuit. He never expected the gorgeous girl to win money with that ticket, but he refuses to find her for the money. But he can't get her out of his head, because he, too, felt the strong attraction to her. However, he's not going to do anything about since it would just look like he's out for money. When Finely shows up at his farm, he decides that fate is stepping in, and he doesn't want to let her go. Will they have a fairy tale romance, or just a moment in time?

OMG this was a great story! The character development is great, with a very colorful cast of secondaries, the best being a six year old genius. Megaballs had me spending my time laughing hard cover to cover, as the witty banter is just AWESOME! Plus, all the stuff they went through, well, let's just say, that my stomach and sides hurt now. Erin Noelle did a brilliant job writing a story of love, family, and laughter, which I just couldn't get enough of! Her easy, and talented writing style had me all in from the get go, so I devoured it In one sitting. This is a story that is highly original, and can't be duplicated, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

1-2 stars. This was not a good read for me. It's been so long since I read this that I don't remember a lot of details. So I only have just a few comments. The story idea is cute here. They characters are not bad. They are nice people, not jerks, and the side characters are not bad (but the niece was annoying). The books tries a little too hard to be funny. But the romance was not good at all. Finley is a struggling waitress and Teague is a hot, rich, playboy businessman who shows up at her restaurant. He always plays the lottery as a tradition and for his grandfather, who raised him, with his grandfather's lucky numbers. On the day they meet, Teague is in town on business and jonsing for someone to hook up with. He already has 3 F-buddies, but he still flirts with Finley and he propositions her to be with him after her shift (which she reciprocates and agrees to). But he gets a business call with some bad news and has to leave abruptly. He ends up leaving Finley a lottery ticket as her tip. The lottery ticket ends up being a winner, luckily for Finley. Then she is dealing with her family and all that comes with winning the lottery. Teague doesn't care that she won. He is still sleeping with his 3 F buddies on rotation, one of whom he does BDSM with and treats like a girlfriend. He has no plans to ever contact Finley. But Finley decides to find out who he is and go find him. They do not meet again until 77%! They have literally barely spoken 10 words to each other when at 85% there is OW drama. They do end up getting an HEA, but I just did not buy it. They barely spent any time together throughout the book and I did not feel like they knew each other, let along were in love. Teague did not seem like he was going to give up his manwhoreish ways either. The attempts at humor were way OTT, too. I just did not enjoy this one. I read and enjoyed The Perfect Wife, by this author, and it was miles away from this book.

This review of Megaballs by Erin Noelle is for The Sweet Spot Sisterhood Blog. Be prepared to laugh your ass off while reading this RomCom. Erin Noelle definitely hit the jackpot with this one. So go get your one click on with this 5 Star winner.

Megaballs is the story of Finley, a 21 year old waitress trying to work her way through college and Teague, a sexy farmer from Iowa. Their paths cross when he comes to San Diego for a meeting and has dinner at the restaurant where she works. He gets a phone call and rushes out without paying. He left a Megaballs lottery ticket on the table. Unbeknownst to Finley, Teague had left his credit card back at the airport in Iowa and he had no was of paying. He left her the only thing of possible value besides his watch.

Finley goes to bed dreaming of Mr. Sexy eyes and wakes up realizing that she is indeed a multi-millionaire. Her world turns into total and utter chaos, but the one constant is Mr. Sexy eyes. Teague also can't stop thinking about Finley. He wants to go find her, but doesn't want her to think it is only because of the money. So they are in a catch 22. She doesn't know his name or where he is from and he doesn't want to come off as money hungry. In steps Fiona, the sassy British talking future chef niece of Finley. Fiona sets out to find Mr. Sexy eyes for her aunt and devises a scheme to get them to Iowa. Do they make it to Iowa and find Mr. Sexy eyes? What shenanigans do they get into along the way? You will have to read and find out what happens.

Although, this is the story of Teague and Finley, Fiona clearly steals the show. I just adore her. I just know that you will too.

Are you looking for Prince Charming? Do you need a man to help spend your new found millions? Are you pining after a man you spoke to for 5 minutes? Then you need to know how it will go on your journey, read Megaballs to find out.

Megaballs is big on fun, bigger on attitude, and a mega good time. So I'm corny but the only corn in this book is the farm. Oh and Corn Nut too, but don't call him that- it's mean.

When Erin Noelle gets an idea in her head, it's best to give her a pen and paper, computer, voice recorder or something. Megaballs is a perfect example. I was so excited to get a chance to read it before it came out. I was intrigued and curious. Then I started reading this fun and wildly entertaining book, I was cackling before 11%.

The acts that are covered in this book should only be done by trained professionals. Or in Farrah's case a trained seal. Fiona is too smart not to have a British accent and will definitely be seen on the real Master chef by 9- she will win the kids version next year at 7. Is it a guarantee, no but do you really doubt her?

If so, you haven't read the book. It is fun, zany, and has you shaking your head more often than not. You too may want to shake sense into Farrah, but well, that's a lost cause.

Megaballs is a must read for those looking for an adventure in the ridiculous, with a British accent, and underappreciated vocabulary. If you question your dedication to any of the above, read it anyway. It was a smile inducing, brain hurting, bloody good time!

Please find yourself a comfy space to settle down with this book and it might be an idea to keep everyone else safely out of the way because I guarantee you will be giggling your butt off before you know it! The looks I got from the guys in the kitchen at work during our lunch break had me seriously re-evaluating the decision to read in public, I was crying with laughter.
As expected from Erin Noelle, this is a book that doesn’t settle, the characters take the storyline by the scruff of the neck and gallop off. I was flipping pages like a lunatic trying to keep up with it.
Teague and Finlay were simply superb and given the situation that brought them together I was blown away by the pair of them. Together they were just absolutely perfect, they were so suited, the perfect match but it didn’t fall into place immediately.
Finlay was scraping by but all that changed when her path crossed with the delicious Teague and his crappy day resulted in the day of her dreams. And in the long run a day that would change his life too.
Finlay’s good fortune means that she can take care of everything she needs and then some, but she doesn’t want to do anything without tracking down the man she can’t forget, the guy responsible for her twist of fate.
Oh and by the way, wait till you get a load of Fiona, her little niece with the attitude that belittle her single digit years! She was a sharp as a tack but cute as a button too boot!!

4.5 Stars!

Erin Noelle is definitely a favorite, go-to author for me. Hey books tend to be sweet, sexy, and angsty... giving it the perfect balance. But this book was much different than her usual. This book was a breath of fresh air in the romance community. I devoured it cover to cover, not coming back to reality until this story consumed me.

Megaballs was a sweet, fun, light, and easy read that had me crying because I laughed so hard. I went into this story pretty blind and that was the best decision ever because this epic read definitely stole the show... and my heart. Megaballs has gone down as one of my favorite Erin Noelle books to date.

In this quirky and laugh out loud romantic comedy, we follow one girl and one guy as as one chance meeting and once lottery ticket are change their lives. Teague and Finley are the kind of characters that burrow into your heart, making them unforgettable.

Full of family, heart, laughs, love and happy endings, get ready to be sucked into this rom-com that stands above others in this trope. I promise you will laugh, smile, swoon, laugh again, then fall head over heels in love.

I highly recommend this book.

Hmm...

What can I say about this book?

Finley, the girl who lives pay check to pay check has a life full of wrongs. Living with her sister and niece she is doing what she can to just make it. Until a stranger who is hot as hell comes into her life. Leaving behind a end to her bad luck.

Teague, successful businessman and CEO of a company that was once his grandfather's. Having money wasn't always the case with teague and working hard to get what you want is always what he has known and what he continues to do.

I have read one other book by this author and it doesn't compare at all to this one. It has comedy, lots and lots of comedy but there is also that hidden point of romance but its a small sliver to me. I didn't feel the "click" with finley and teague, maybe it's just me. Either way I did enjoy it and would have liked more at the end instead of the rushed pieces I got.

Erin Noelle's strength and abilities shine through with Megaballs! I love it when authors take risks and write something that's original, really showing us they can spread their wings and allow us dive into a totally different type of world than we're used to.

Megaballs is not your typical RomCom where all the humor lies within the romantic aspect. But the humor that's laced throughout the entire book. Whether it was the six year old much older and wiser than her years, the crazy sister who just never could gather the correct thought or the wise cracking grandpa... the secondary characters created a story in themselves.

I truly enjoyed reading the story of Finley & Teague... everything about it screamed unique, sweet, sexy and fun.

I'm not sure where to start with my review. I really loved the idea of this book. When I read the synopsis for it, I was really intrigued. I mean, we all wanna hit the big mega ball lottery, right? I know I do! Lol!!

It started out pretty good, laying the foundation for the story. Finley is a young woman, 21 I believe, and she is staying with her single mom sister, Farrah, to help her with her 6 year old daughter, Fiona. She waitress at Impasta to help with bills and for things that Fiona needs.

She meets a mysterious, sexy man in a suit one night at the restaurant and she instantly feels some sizzle between them. Their encounter was awkward, to say the least. Ended up with her face in his crotch after she spilled his root beer in his lap. Lol! He basically propositioned her and she was ready to accept when she noticed he left abruptly.p, didn't even pay his bill, but left her a lottery ticket instead of a tip and apologized for leaving due to an emergency.

They each go on thinking about each other. Her - wondering who the sexy mysterious man was that left her the winning lottery ticket. Him - wondering about the sexy, yet awkward, waitress.

After there is kinda loses me. After winning, Finley keeps thinking about the guy and wondering why he never came forward so she could thank him for the ticket. Teague keeps thinking of her too, but decided not to come forward as he didn't want her to think he was after the winnings, although he really needs it and it could have been his.

Then further into the story, we find out Teague has a new thing about BDSM, and has regular f* buddies, on certain days, but still continues to pine over Finley. All these components that are just pushed together makes it very hard for me to connect with these characters.

To keep Finley's mind off her mysterious Mr. Sexy Eyes, her niece Fiona comes up with a speed dating plan. Mind you, the girl is only 6 years old, and she orchestrated this elaborate speed dating thing, even had her own questionnaire for the guys.

There are other things that Fiona says and ones that I just don't think seems logical for a 6 year old girl. Had she been twice that age at least, then it would be more believable to me. And Farrah, the sister, she seems a little on the air headed side. Not to sound harsh but she keeps saying "goobly wobbly" and "chilly pilly" and things like that. It made it hard to perceive her as a supporting secondary character. I'm sure all this was to make the story more funny but, for me, I didn't think that added a funny factor. I will admit though, there were a few times that I giggled at some of the things they've said or done, but as a whole, unfortunately this story just didn't really do it for me.

I gave this book 3.5 stars.

This is Finley's story and the gorgeous Teague Goodman.

Finley, a twenty-one year old college student is living with her sister, Farrah, who is a single momma to the amazingly smart Fiona. Finley works as a waitress and has had her run of bad luck.

Teague, a businessman who has it all, is about to lose it all. He comes to town for a work meeting and leaves more unhappy than he likes. He decided to eat before calling it a night and his bad luck runs into Finley and her bad luck. Their meeting is anything, but normal. Spilled drinks, hair caught in a watch, and face at a crotch. Definitely not normal circumstances, but they laugh and take it in stride.

Teague, leaves the restaurant, leaving a lottery ticket as his only form of payment. Finley, beyond angry, takes the ticket and uses her tips to pay for his meal so she doesn't get into trouble at work.

The next day, life changes for Finley, she won the 270 million dollar jackpot that the sexy man left her. Life for Finley as she know it will never be the same. Her, Fiona and Farrah will never have to worry about money again. Though Finley can't stop thinking about the sexy many who is haunting her dreams, he never comes forward to claim the ticket was his, though many others have.

Fiona, decides she is going to help her aunt out and find this dream guy. The six year old who is way too mature for her young age, sets the plan in motion and when Finley decides she's had enough adventure, Fiona comes clean. Deciding she owes this man something, she continues on the trip to meet him.

Will their encounter be what they both hoped it could be? Or can money destroy everything?

Find out in Megaballs!

I definitely feel the synopsis didn't really measure up to what I read in the book. Teague wasn't some a-hole but actually a rather nice guy, where they had differences of opinions. I thought it was a good book but was thinking their would have been more drama.

If you are looking for a book that’s totally different than anything you have read… this is the book for you. It is super funny and has a lot of cute parts. Although I struggled a few times, I had to keep going to see what would become of Teague and Finley.

They met by fate. Finley is a struggling waitress trying to help her sister and niece, and Teague is a big time businessman who is down on his luck. When Teague forgets his wallet he leaves Finley a lottery ticket that will change both of their lives forever.

I really enjoy Erin’s writing. This book did keep me interested to see what would happen between Teague and Finley. But there were certain parts I struggled with. They mostly spend the entire book apart and also Finley’s six-year-old niece is a bit over the top. Although I can only give it a 3, I still enjoyed the witty humor. I just wish Teague and Finley would have had a stronger connection and the ending wasn’t so rushed.

Really good storyline.

I loved the ideal of the storyline a lot. Reminds me of that movie from years back. I did enjoy the story and you just have to love Teague. Country boy picked on by the town boys and not big enough to fight back. He is really down on his luck. He is being sued over an app he created in college that has made him a fortune. His lawyer informs him he will lose the case. He has had a terrible morning. His plane is several hours late for take off, his lawyer gives him bad news and at the restaurant where he is having supper his secretary calls and tells him he left his credit card at the airport. With no way to pay and after flirting with his waitress Finley who he really likes he leaves a lottery ticket he purchased with sorry wrote on the back. Of course e the ticket wins but Finley has no way to get in touch with him. I loved the niece she was quite the charming. Really an exceptional six year old. Did not care to much for the sister Farrah though, she was just to materialist and silly to be the mother of that little girl.

3.5 stars

So I was really intrigued when I first heard about this book. I thought the idea behind the storyline was fun and something new. It was like something I've never read before, so I was excited to read it. But the book went into a different direction than what I was expecting. The books main focus seems to be on Fiona, Finley, and Farrah and their journey to find the guy who left the lottery ticket. There were several laugh out loud moments, the speed dating being my favorite, but there seemed to be a lack of romance story. I was hoping to get a little more in that department. There wasn't much until the last part of the book. I had a hard time with the niece, Fiona, and her British accent. She's six years old, I guess it just seemed weird to me. Maybe because I don't have kids. I thought the story was well written and had a lot of potential but, for me, it just didn't hit the mark.

What a fun, fresh read from Erin Noelle! I loved every minute of Megaballs with it's laugh out loud moments and a little girl who will steal your heart.

At first I didn't know what to make of Teague. He seemed like a giant douche with his guide to domination. But as the story progresses, Teague became that swoony guy you love. The girls - Fiona, Finley and Farrah, are a hoot and keep you laughing with all their wild hijinks.

Erin blows me away with her writing and storytelling. She is truly one of those diamonds out in the roughness that is the indie book industry. Even though this book is a bit of a departure from her usual type of angsty romances, she shines bright with her humor and sweet romance, giving you a refreshing change from what is out there in the contemporary romance field.

Megaballs, is a super fun and hilarious read!

Finley is a waitress, whose always late and a niece that keeps her on her toes. Teague, is the CEO of his grandfathers farm. He's very into being in control.

One fateful, hilarious day they run into each other. That's when the story really begins. The story is a laugh out loud, almost kind of a fairytale. Will Finley find her prince Mr. sexy eyes again?!

Noelle, really jumped into this story and brought it to life. The hijinks, sarcastic moments and the oh hot! Sexy times. It's all in this awesome package. I seriously enjoyed this tale of Finley and Teague.

Overall, I give Megaballs, Four Boundless Stars!...Lissa

Rom Com with a British Speaking 6 Year Old !! This book took the charts with Comedy and one liners.

Finley, a 21 year cocktail waitress is just trying to make it, going to college, helping with her 6 old smart as a lick/master chef niece. Finley literally gets tangled up in a Beautiful Stranger mind body and soul. When this stranger leaves his lottery ticket instead of paying his tab. Her Luck is about to change.

Teague, Lady Luck is just not on his side. Success has always been his goal and he has achieved it, until his brain child is looking more like his demise. Teague is close to his grandpa and keeps the traditions of Root Beer, Licorise & Lottery Tickets. When he his can't pay for his bill at a pub he leaves his lottery ticket instead. Lady Luck sure can be a Bi&ch at times.

There is so much to love about Megaballs!
Teague Goodman, may be one of my favorite book boyfriends ever.
I loved Finley, Farrah, and Fiona Farewell, and I'm convinced Fiona needs her own book.
Add in Teague's grandfather, and a terrific story and you have a book you don't want to miss!

3.5

This book is cute and funny, and a very sweet but I gave it a low rating because SO MUCH HAPPENS with the girls on their trip that was kind of not needed.

The main characters do not reconnect until like 80%! Yes, then it is sweet and insta love but come on!

I enjoyed the read, I did. But wasn't a grand slam for me.
