(Even your greatest defeats.)In exploring these three pillars, Amara delves into topics such as forgiveness, relationships, and finding your inner stillness. You will learn the art of maintaining emotional balance, cultivating self-respect, practicing heartfelt communication, and the power of consciously embracing life’s beginnings and endings. Like Warrior Goddess Training, this book is packed full of exercises and explorations designed to help you integrate the Warrior Goddess Way into your everyday life. You CAN learn to enjoy everything you do. Your potential for dancing through life is waiting to be awakened. Live the Warrior Goddess Way and claim the woman you are destined to be.

I enjoyed reading this. I've picked up a few books that dive into self discovery: "The Alchemist", "You Are A Badass", etc. " The Warrior Goddess Way" is an awesome read for women seeking a fresh outlook on life. Each chapter had interesting points. There were times where I thought, "Yes, thank you for saying that!" For example, she sometimes would mention how some societal standards play a role in the way women see themselves. There are also exercises in the book, that can be applied for life situations. I tried one for dealing with past grievances, with a letter where I vented and got stuff off my chest. It felt great to burn the letter afterwards. The author touches off on quite a few topics in this book. It's a solid read for motivation.
The title can't be beat. I picked this up awhile ago as a reward to myself for finishing Nanowrimo. Her blend of "wisdom through the ages" was interesting. Overall, a helpful and affirming read. It was kind of hard to get through because the focus was mainly on dealing with pain and loss. This made it feel more somber than what I was looking for.
The Warrior Goddess Way, by Heatherash Amara Published: NOW Rating: 5/5 “When we bring our attention back to discovering who we are on the inside—not who we wish we were or who we think we should be—we begin a sacred path of transformation toward our innate, authentic, embodied power. This is the path of the Warrior Goddess.” This book spoke to my soul. I am on a journey on self-discovery and identity at the moment, and Heatherash’s words were like a warm embrace from an old friend. She talks about how women are programmed to behave and feel a certain way, and how it creates an inauthentic life that is wholly unsatisfactory. She explains how to reclaim the more powerful and authentic parts of ourselves, and how to tap into the innate wisdom that we all have inside. She provides beautifully calming exercises for you to try – including on how to find your inner stillness. I threw myself into it whole-heartedly, and can honestly say that this book will be remaining on my bedside table as a reminder for when times get tough. A gorgeous, thought-provoking novel on self-discovery and authenticity.
Women traditionally have carried the weight of responsibility for the world, even in times when men claimed the power. HeatherAsh helps us reframe our vision of women`s roles in the world and set down much of the weight of that burden. She shows us ways to release the need to fix every problem, and apologize yet hold onto the emotions for things we did not cause or hurts that were unintentional. She helps women with awareness and perception issues and their reactions to life events both huge, deep, painful and small. As I was reading this book I learned how to step back, set the weight down and learn to accept and be more aware of this moment and my proper role in life unfolding.
Another excellent book! I particularly enjoyed the chapters on forgiveness and consciously apologizing. Both are areas I have been struggling with, and after trying her exercises, I feel so much better and more at peace. These books are wonderful. I think everyone should read them, even though they are written for women. There is so much healthy insight for personal growth to be found here. I'm so glad these books are what I'm starting this new year with! Five out of five stars.
Ms. Amara writes about how women negatively view themselves based on societal teachings ingrained from our childhood and tries to show women how they can overcome these outdated and detrimental beliefs though awareness, mindfulness and of course, meditation. This is a good read for those who have not read books on mindfulness and mediation before.
Contradictions throughout. Angst of adolescent. at odds trying to grow up
, seems also to maybe be first born child, who often suffer from the need to please parents, need for perfection, fears of failure. May be good read for young insecure women trying to make their way out in the world. Not for grown woman who have learned to make their own path in life.
they are trying to take several disciplines and combined them into their own version of a discipline. I’m a Christian and believe in the Bible. I meditate and practice tai chi. But merging together beliefs is another matter that I can’t get behind. There’s nothing new here really just borrowing bits and pieces of each And stamping a new label on it.
This is a great self help book for women. I enjoyed her first book so I knew I would enjoy this one as well. Some topics in the book include: meditation, forgiveness, apology, awareness, and judgments.
Wonderful with causing you to think. If you have gotten away from self help books this is the one to bring u back. Not for beginners on quest to dig into who you are. My final word is I CHOSE ME I Say Yes To Me

This book has exercises and resources to help implement the Goddess Way in daily life. I especially enjoyed the chapter on dealing with death/loss. This is a great continuation of the series, and I highly recommend it.
For anyone on the path to deep self awareness, enlightenment, spiritual evolution, and self love this book provides many insights that I will be referencing going forward.
It took me a while to adjust to the author’s voice but overall, I enjoyed the message. The book is empowering with its message of authenticity and acceptance.
Although rather emotionally confronting, this book is really about being true to yourself. Although yes, a man could read it and use it to help guide, as we all know, women are still 'below' the men and therefore need to be brought up to higher levels of self-love and divine kindness because we are still treating ourselves like second class citizens. Even though the cover has a yogi on the front, this isn't really a book about yoga, although Heatherash does use some of the yoga principles in her guide to life. This book is about self-perception and about caring for oneself. Something we all should be doing, in order to become the goddesses that we know we are.
La verdad me gustó muchísimo este libro, es la primera vez que leo algo así. Me ayudó muchísimo a reflexionar.
