to be a trucker

at 48 years old i went to learn how to drive a tractor(truck and trailer). i drove for two years and due to vagaries of life i quit, choosing to work at home to be around for my granddaughter. i didn't really see much driving in this story, so i'm looking forward to reading mother trucker. this story was really, really good, just not enough trucking.

Second Chance At Love

Surprisingly good

This was the first book I read by Piper King. I was intrigued by the story, because they are not that many trucker stories out there and also because I love second chance romance stories. I really loved this book.

This is a brief but very fascinating book. The entire story is all about a long time love between Annie and Axel but mainly Annie’s escape from her love after an irrational instinct . Though brief, Piper has the amazing skill to go straight to the point that is she develops the characters so well that once you start reading the book you can hardly put it down. So if you want to read it, then get ready for the emotional ride. Lots of love, throbbing emotion and happily ever after are waiting for you.

I volunteered to review an ARC in order to provide an honest review. It's crazy what guilt can make us do. Annie's guilt was so great that she fled the love of her life but you have to love meddling siblings. Axel carried around his own anger about the situation and neither one of them had a clear picture of reality. Throw in a mega-storm and a heart to heart and all is well. Very sweet read!

Full Load, by Piper King, is the second book in her Bad Boy Trucker series. Axel and Annie were childhood sweethearts, but unfortunate events shattered that with Annie high tailing it as far as she could. Five years later, they are brought face to face and all heck breaks loose.

This may be a quick read, but it's fully loaded. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Love this story it was a wonderful read and the characters are amazing kind hearted. Sometimes things will get in the but only if you let stand between what matters most.
