Love by the Numbers #2

Two Weeks' Vacation

Rate this book
After a bad break up, Finn Richards took off to a tropical paradise. He was looking for a place to hide; I was looking for a way out. Neither of us got what we wanted. But will we both get what we need? It’s up to us. He’s damaged…but I’m determined.

Sometimes, letting go is the only way to love.

Alex Diaz is desperate for cash—so desperate, she’ll do just about anything with her photography skills, if it means keeping her older sister from quitting law school and saving herself from being just a diner waitress. Even sell out her soul to get some racy photos of America’s hottest rocker.
Bad boy guitarist Finn Richards is one scandal away from calling it quits. Struck by betrayal, he’s already broken off his engagement. Now he stands to lose his rock band in the process. All he needs is a little revenge and a lot of R&R to rebuild from the ashes of his career.
When sexy, arrogant Finn realizes Alex is more than just a pretty face, he makes her an offer she can’t refuse. But as a tropical storm strikes and their plans begin to unravel, will Finn and Alex’s romance be a rebound…or the start of true love during a TWO WEEKS’ VACATION?

This book was gifted to me. This is sweet, fun, romantic and entertaining. Finn and Alex make a cute couple, and the Island is a beautiful place to fall in love. I really liked how smooth and natural their relationship developed. I do think that at the end Finn should have smacked Zane for all the emotional distress that he caused Finn.

This book is sweet, romantic and fun story. After being betrayed Finn is looking for a little revenge and break to regroup. Alex is waitress that is in need of money. Is she desperate enough use her photography skills? Will Alex be able to refuse Finn's offer? Is it true love or just a rebound? I absolutely enjoyed this sweet story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

I loved the story of Finn and Alex. I also enjoyed hearing more about Liam and Zane. I won't leave any spoilers because that would spoil it for those that haven't read yet, but Finn is wrong about Zane. One-click your copy today and see what I mean. I can't wait to read the book in this series!
