I received a copy of Rainbow Magic: The Ultimate Fairy Guide by Daisy Meadows in exchange for an honest review.
This series has been an absolute favorite of my tween daughter. The graphics, colors and description of each fairy will capture the imagination of anyone who likes to believe in a little magic.
A friend gave me this book today and I really like it. I couldn't stop reading it and finished it in one day. I like it because it has good description of fairies , and beautiful pictures. Music fairies, pet fairies, sugar and spice fairies and a lot more. Highly recommend to people who like magic.
Do you remember when you were younger and would catch a movement out of the corner of your eye? Or perhaps just a flash of color? Little did you know you were observing a fairy out enjoying their day. Now do not think all faeries are alike. Daisy Meadows has been kind enough to gather together the information on one hundred and fifty different fairies. She had to do a lot of interviews to compile all the different Fairies, their names, their personalities and type of magic. Thank you for sharing it with us.
We use a bird book with pictures and descriptions when we go out to bird watching. Think of Rainbow Magic: The Ultimate Fairy Guide as your fairy book to use when going out to spot and identify all the fairies. Just remember Fairies are very careful who they reveal themselves to. So you need to let them know you mean them no harm and want to be their friend.

If you are or your child are fans of the Rainbow Magic fairies, I can't imagine you not liking this compilation of over 150 fairies. It's beautifully colored, which makes this all the more special. My young daughters loved going through it to remind themselves of past fairies they read/encountered and of fairies they want to read about. (Right now, the 6-year-old wants Ally the Dolphin Fairy.) Is this pure marketing to suck parents to shell out more $ to feed their young daughter's fairy addiction? You bet. Is it sugary age appropriate fun for your baby? Yes and you could do a lot worse with the book choices out there.
