Rem Bradley has loved Liv Carter for far too long. After his father’s sudden death, Rem comes home for good—ready to reclaim his family’s ranch and his woman. Problem is, the spitfire he finds brawling in the roughest bar in town is not the girl he left behind.
Liv recognizes trouble when she sees it, but she’d be a fool to resist Rem’s seductive demands. Starting in the barn where they’d left off years ago, they use every available body part, plus a toy or two, to bring each other maximum pleasure.
To make up for past mistakes, however, Rem is going to have to do a hell of a lot more than just satisfy her body—but that’s a damn good start.
Rekindled
It’s been a year since her husband’s passing, and running the ranch is taking its toll on Claire Hutchins. Independent as the day is long, she concedes the need for help. She wants a foreman, an employee to run the day-to-day who can handle a woman calling the shots. Someone who won’t give her any trouble.
Who shows up at her door, first in line for the job? Jeb Carter. Ex-high-school sweetheart. Longtime rodeo star. And the one man capable of making Claire’s lust burn out of control…of making her surrender completely.
Trouble has finally come calling…and he’s as irresistible as ever.
Inflamed
Stuck in a rut in every way possible, Keri decides her first step in a bid for change is moving back to the Texas home she left years ago. The second step? Spicing up her sex life with the crazy-hot cowboys she left behind. Too responsible (and smart) to touch her way back when, Max and Shaw filled Keri’s hottest teen dreams. Now she’s older, wiser—and more than ready to make up for lost time.
Max and Shaw were always fond of Keri, but the stunning woman strutting back into their lives is a far cry from the serious, studious teen they remember. She wants to take a walk on the racy side—with both of them—and the cowboys are only too happy to oblige. As they suspected, the sex is explosive, though Max and Shaw aren’t sure Keri can really handle everything they have to give.
Nor do they know if she can handle the sexy secret they’ve yet to divulge.

From Ellora's Cave comes another fine novella bearing the unmistakable stamp of Mari Carr's writing expertise. Filled with erotic love and telling the story of three people who are looking for that elusive "something" to make their lives complete, Keri, Shaw & Max find themselves once again within hugging distance.
Mari Carr has written a number of novellas involving menage and this one has the added component of a m/m relationship between Max and Shaw. These two successful cowboys had become best friends when Shaw came to Max's home as a foster child and had experienced the unconditional love of parents that wanted his happiness above all else. Max had always been the dominant personality--he needed to control his life, his environment, his future--and Shaw was happy to follow Max's lead. Because of that, Shaw had graduated from high school with honors just like Max, and when Max went to work on the Mockingbird Ranch, it seemed like a good idea for to Shaw to follow him there, too. So it was that they had met the owner's niece, Keri, a young pre-teen when they first knew her, who had been taken in by her Uncle Brody because he parents had, for all intent, abandoned her. They had watched her grow up and known she was very special, but when she went away to college and stayed away for 8 years, they thought she was well and truly out of their lives. Now she was back and their feelings for her were stronger than ever.
But these two strong and caring cowboys had a secret--one they were reluctant, or perhaps fearful of sharing with Keri, especially if their intentions for her played out as they hoped. Their attraction for one another had finally surfaced some years previously when the woman they had shared left and they remained locked in each other's arms. It was a closely guarded secret but they suspected that Keri's uncle knew about their relationship. That became evident when Uncle Brody insisted they be honest with Keri as they were preparing to spend their first night with her. But Max was too afraid of losing her before they had her, and Shaw agreed to wait. It was a mistake and one that almost cost them the best thing that had happend to them.
This novella is about finally finding the person that would complete them--not only for Shaw and Max, but would finally heal Keri's heart and fill the holes that had been left by her parents' abandonment and the heartbreak she had suffered by the break-up with her boyfriend of 4 years during her sojourn in New York. It was also about Max and Shaw who needed to recognize some home truths about their own relationship before they could appreciate and fully let Keri into their lives and their hearts. Was there really room for all three of them in this relationshi?.
Carr has a wonderful ability to flesh out characters even in a limited number of pages and while I have long wanted her to give us a full length novel, she has always written stories that open up her characters fully and allow the reader to understand what was going on with each of them. It is so in this novella. This is erotica, pure and simple. But it is about generosity and the willingness to give and receive love on many levels, accepting people as they are and celebrating them for who they are. In doing so, each character is allowed to grow beyond their own dreams and hopes--all of them become more open and generous then ever they thought possible.
This is a quick read but one that can be enjoyed when there isn't time for a full-length novel. And this author has set a high standard for all who wish to write in the novella form.
I give this work a rating of 4 out of 5.

each story is unique and different. each story has its only flavour yet each story is beautifully written each story contains hot sex each story contains hotter cowboys.
what more could a girl want (well except maybe what happens in inflamed but ill leave that for you to read)
Inflamed is the latest of Mari Carr’s hot and sexy romances from Ellora’s Cave, and this one will singe your eyebrows off.
Eight years is a long time to be away from home. Keri left to pursue her dreams at eighteen, but after eight years away, and four years stuck in a rut with a man who didn’t want what she offers, Keri ups and moves back to Texas, to the ranch she grew up on, and the last place she was truly happy. But the girl who left was very different from the woman that has come back, looking for the cowboys she has fantasized about since she was sweet and sensible teenaged Keri.
Max and Shaw remember Keri as the sweet teenager she was, and this confident and sassy woman is a whole different person. Keri is determined to have her cowboys, and they are more than willing to cooperate, but they neglect to tell her one important fact: although they want her, they are also a couple. Until Keri comes back into their lives, neither man realizes the depth of their feelings for each other.
Can Keri accept them as they are, or will they be forced to choose who they love? Can Max and Shaw convince Keri they are in this for the long haul? Or has what she witnessed driven her away forever?
I loved this story of going home again and of reconnection. I enjoyed watching the dynamics between the three characters in this, and the recognition that there was something growing between them, something very special. The characters, as with all of Ms. Carr’s people, are extremely real and likable, folks you want to meet and spend time with.
Keri is determined to change her life. She is smart and honest, and tired of being in the rut that her life has become. She is filled with sass and has a wonderful sense of humor. I loved watching her open her mind and her heart to the two men she left behind eight years before, and I loved her capacity to embrace change and take a chance on love after the disastrous end to her last relationship.
Max and Shaw are the cowboys Keri has fantasized about since she was just a teen. They are both hot and sexy, strong and determined to make Keri happy. But the two are very different. Shaw is the lighthearted one, always able to make Keri smile and cheer her up. Max is the intense and quiet one, solid and protective and hesitant to show his feelings. I loved watching these two learn to open up and reveal their feelings, about each other and about Keri.
This is a story about making changes, whether for better or worse, and about taking chances with their hearts. The old saying is you can’t go home again, but Mari Carr proves with this book that you most certainly can, and you just may find everything you’ve been searching for, right there in your old back yard. This one is perfect for those who love romance and happy endings, this has plenty of both. originally posted at http://whippedcream2.blogspot.com/201...
Keri is finally on her way back home to Texas, after a devastating breakup, she is just ready to back at her uncle Brody's ranch. Shaw & Max come upon a car stalled on the side of the road. When they emerge from the truck, Keri Sheilds is standing there wearing a pair of daisy dukes and a tight T-shirt. Sweet Jesus what she does to both of them. Making them think of all the filthy things they want to do with her. Keri is just as ready for them, having crushed on them for yrs. The question on their minds is, can she hand both of them? They come as a package deal, in more ways than she has ever imagined. Yet again Mari has written a NSFW novella that i couldn't put down! This was a quick, dirty, steamy sexy menage that you should check out today!
There were good and not so good things in this book. Most of the not so good came from being too rushed, as it's only a novella (around 75 pages). I liked the relationship that the cowboys had together and the hints given here and there which help to understand why it never could be satisfying for any of them. For once, the cliche of the happy gay couple needing a female third to feel whole is successfully avoided. Hot scenes are as steamy as should be. However I was disappointed by how the revelation of the other aspect to their relationship was managed.
This book is a collection of three erotic romances, all involving hit sexy cowboys. No insta-love here, each involves an element of a second chance at romance. The stories all take place in the same locale and have at least a mention of the characters from the previous story, but each can be read as a stand alone. This author writes hot, sexy stories, but always manages to include love and romance in the mix.
Great story. Hot. Liked the characters. Doesn't drag. Good writing and editing. The only reason this isn't getting a 5/5 is because I've read this story before from many other authors. It's all typical. Still fun though.
Another erotic winner from Mari Carr--and as always, the characters are engaging and real, the story has the smack of true love, and altogether they make a very nice, entertaining read.
