You know how usually in fantasy conflicts usually the good guys triumph over terrible odds? Maybe the Evil Prince should have thought about that before killing practically everyone on his side.

Or maybe Rakan is just weirdly confident in the triumph of good over evil.



Also, apparently Chigusa's hair is the color of kelp.

Me esta gustando cada vez mas, a este capitulo le dió es 4.5 estrellas, no 4. Amo, REALMENTE AMO las insinuaciomes que Chigusa le da a Rakan cada vez que puedes, me parto de risa todo el tiempo. Me gustó tambien que dan mas datos sobre este mundo "paralelo" (algo que insinúa Rakan) como su nombre, sobre el tiempo, el agua, la comida (aunque no explicaron sobre los animales o mucho de la carne). Algo que me pareció muy... no lo se, ¿incomodo? ¿confuso? Fue cuando se pusieron a hablar sobre como se escribían los kanjis de los nombres de algunos personajes (aunque eso lo dejo pasar principalmente porque no soy japonesa y si lo fuera habría entendido a la perfección). Y ese giro repentino del final! Me mato! Yo necesito saber mucho!

La historia va sucediendo lentamente, igual hay que tener en cuenta que por tomo son tres capítulos aunque bastante *bastante* extensos 😂

Son varios tomos los de este manga y me preguntó con que lo van a llenar 🤔 pero está siendo muy entretenido y también interesante... De a poco nos vamos apegando a los personajes ♥️

This one's got everything.

-atmospheric setup with the desert gang and the spooky vibes
-really genuinely fascinating bits of worldbuilding (black-ink books written in chalk to be reused! clock nuts!)
-found family!! Narushige and Rakan cook together!
-the gayest shenanigans you could imagine.
"thank me orally?" "like this?" (attempts to kiss him) BROOO

Dieser Band spielt in der anderen Welt und ich konnte mich richtig in das Geschehen reinlesen. Es macht ein sehr neugierig auf die folgenden Bände und wie der Plot sich weiterhin entwickeln wird.

I love this so! It's really odd - like with Yuki in "Fesseln des Verrats", everybody loves Rakan, but in his case, I　understand it: he obviously cares about everyone else. There are so many cute scenes between him and all the other characters - sure, the ones with Chigusa stand out since they're especially adorable, but he also cares for all the other guys and shows it.　And it never comes across as cheesy or forced. I　also lovelovelove Chigusa until infinity, seriously - his mix of naivety and wisdom and cluelessness is a joy to read. But it's not just the two of them - all the other characters and their relationships to another are really well written and there's a warmth to it all that's just lovely. And it's really funny at times, too! I adore this and YES　I know I'm gushing but I　can't help myself.

in a shocking and not at all anticipated turn of events silver diamond continues to be hecka cute? =OOO

also rakan enjoys cooking which is yet another reason we need to be friends because my nutrional choices have plummeted since school got crazy /o\

so yeah this volume continues on the general theme of rakan gathering more found family by way of being a sweetheart. continue the kindness revolution rakan! soon all of magiclandia will be under your sway

also there are like twenty pages of ads for other manga at the end and it's making me way nostalgic, like this was how i heard of new manga back when younger

Another compelling volume. Rakan bonds with the fronteir guard and shows that he is a true prince. The unwanted "numbered" children finally have a purpose as they decide to become bodyguards in truth. Chigusa gets to show off some of his freaky skills and sensitivity making us see that maybe he's not just a complete perv. Lovely interaction between the characters and a fascinating world is being built up. Love the little comedy scenes with Koh the snake. Enjoying this series more and more.

This volume is all about families, biological and fictive. I love the warmth and humor of the relationships in this story. The guards' take on Rakan's motley crew was very funny, and the fish-out-of-water jokes continue to be very funny. And Koh continues to be the ultimate scene stealer.
