"Booze, sex, and revenge served hot and sticky."

Intern Jen wants a man with money, looks, and money (in that order).

Through the careful application of brains, beauty, and determination, Jen hatches a plan to bring the handsome VP, Brett, to heel.

But the best laid plans never survive sight of the enemy, and Jen has plenty of those—the most dangerous one, herself. When an epic sex romp with a fellow intern threatens her chances with VP Brett, Jen must choose between blind ambition and the precarious state of her humanity.

Bad Intern? Sure. Bad person? Only YOU can decide. Either way, business casual will never be the same.

What I liked about this book? It was short. I'm not sure how much more I was willing to tolerate. I almost DNF'd and I absolutely hate to do that. So why did I continue? Because the author's writing wasn't what turned me off. Somehow he created a heroine that I couldn't stomach. Someone who made me think of death and destruction. Someone who put me in a negative state. And yet he made the story compelling somehow. It's smut. If you go in with low expectations, you should be fine.

Book Description

Booze, sex, and revenge served hot and sticky.

Intern Jen wants a man with money, looks, and money (in that order)

Through the careful application of brains, beauty, and determination, Jen hatches a plan to bring the handsome VP, Brett, to heel.

Bad Intern? Sure. Bad person? Only YOU can decide. Either way, business casual will never be the same.

Jen is a feisty intern who goes through life unnoticed but Jen is a woman on a mission, finding a good looking man with money, lots and lots of money and she has her eyes set on one man in particular.

Pete is also an intern working at the same place, he sees Jen unlike everyone else and he loves what he sees and will try anything to have one night with her.

When a weekend ends with them both working overtime in the office things get a little crazy and a lot steamy for the pair

Bad Intern is a short, sexy read. Luke Mason did a good job on this and I'm looking forward to more from him in the future.

ARC given in exchange for an honest review.

Fast and dirty with a side of funny is the best description I can come up with for Jenn the bad intern. This girl has a determined mindset to get to hot wealthy boss Brett in her bed and in her clutches. She takes on a crap project over the weekend to grab his attention. She's none to please to be paired with Pete her fellow intern who has an annoying infatuation with her. Jenn shouldn't drink at work, or anywhere else, because she's got a deviously dirty mind and Pete becomes her boytoy for the day. This girl wraps sexy times and petty revenge into a hilarious package of epic levels. I laughed hard at some of her debasing of some office and personal property.

The characters were flushed out just enough to give an surface understanding of their actions. There are some clever supporting characters that provide color to the story. This wild weekend was just as promised in the blurb.

Luke Mason's debut offering into romance is hilarious and down and dirty. He can be proud. I'm curious to see what he comes up with next.

This book was great, it was a quick read but held my interest the whole time. I was laughing non stop with Jen's personality. It has a bit of everything rolled into one, we have the humor, the sex and the crushing. Jen is definitely up for adventure and has no fear and with her spiciness it makes it even more fun to read. I cannot wait for Luke to write more stories. Let me just add that I'm voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review on here.

This quick read is sexy and funny. Jen is an over the top hilarisch woman but I like her. She has a crush for her boss Brett and she is willing to have sex with him. But Pete also an intern as Jen gets a Saterday with her in the office where now one is around. They have to do work and in the meantime they do each other. They leave a mess in the office rooms after their bodies have consumed, several times. As I said it's steamy and hot and I loved it.

This is the first time I have ever read anything from this author, but after reading this book it will not be the last! The story kept me interested from the start to the end. The story definitely had some HOT scenes! There was also some really funny scenes. There were a number of times that a chuckled or literally laughed out loud while reading. I cannot wait for the next book about Jen, especially with her booze driven ways and with Pete.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes quick reads that involve booze, sex and some sticky situations!

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. For a debut novel this was a really good story with great characters. There were a few plot inconsistencies that were not major. The characters were great and I loved the chemistry. Overall I think Luke did a great job on his debut and I look forward to reading more of his work as he has the talent to go far.

I strongly dislike this book. I can't even try and writing a review of it, aside from what I am writing. Okay, it's not that it's unreadable, in fact a lot of people seem to love this book, it has it's quirk, I just couldn't wrap my head round it or bring myself to like the main character.

Amaze-balls. It was short and sweet. And instead of it going to cliché route, it went the opposite way and that's what I love most about it. It could've used some more description at one part but other than that it was awesome.

Jen is pure filth! I found myself laughing throughout this book. Some of the insults & one-liners were hilarious; ‘’Dino tits’’, ‘’I’m going to f*ck you so hard you sneeze’’.
I liked Jen, she is hilarious! She knows what she wants and is determined to get it. She says it how it is and doesn’t care about the outcome. Despite the hard ass side to her, I could see a softer side. A young girl that wants to be loved and cherished. She feels like she needs a man with money due to wanting to feel secure and looked after. She doesn’t want to worry about how she is going to afford food. I kind of like Pete. He was nice, just a little too soft for my tastes personally. He followed Jen around like a puppy and was worried about being caught. Rather then fully enjoy his steamy moments with Jen which very nearly didn’t happen.
This short story is full of seriously dirty scenes and hilariousness. It is easy to follow and easily devoured. The ending wasn’t fully what I was expecting, but I really liked it and was left satisfied.

Jen is determined to get her hands on company VP Brett. Not only is he good looking but he is also rich. The problem is: Brett doesn’t know she exists. Whilst interning at the company, Jen meets fellow intern Pete. Jen is forever annoyed by Pete and his happiness, she classes him an enemy. When Jen mistakenly volunteers for unpaid overtime, Pete is her partner in crime in the empty building. Soon getting bored of what they were set to do, Jen decides to have some fun. Taking Pete along for the ride. An empty building & a bottle of Jack Daniels, what could Jenn and Pete possibly get up to?! After an evening with Pete, will Jen still go after Brett, the man she thinks she wants? What will happen between Pete and Jen?

One last thing: Goodreads is saying that i have read this book two previous times. i haven't. I read this for the first time today.

F**king Fabulous!

Oh, Luke Mason (If that’s really your real name because it sounds like a name from a novel and I might need to steal it for a character, FYI). I have to admit something, Luke Mason, and please don’t hate this reviewer, but I was actually kind of torn before I started reading your new book. I’m not usually the “intern gets the boss”-type. In fact, the millionaire buzz that came around (sometime) over the past couple years had me wanting to hang out in a trailer park until it was all done. That being said, your book is so not like that AT ALL! It’s actually incredibly fabulous.

First off, Jen is pretty much the girl I’d totally be friends with. Bitchy, self-deprecating, sarcastic, even though she wants to be this nice person she was before the world made her the cold, hard bitch she is to survive (I was an English major. I read between the lines). I love her comment about how walking around the office wearing the orange badge “feels like a perp walk.” Hehe. Awesome. The piece is witty, interesting, sexy in sometimes super silly ways (okay, a lot of the time silly ways… drinking cum from a cup? Hmmm), and it’s also insightful...

...f**king so awesomely insightful that I’m halfway in love with the disenfranchised, millennial appeal it holds.

Between the jacking off (or blowing, as the case may be) with Jack scene (lovely touch by the way), the banter, and Pete (who I absolutely adore), I would say that this short read was strangely human and fun. I loved it!

Great debut, Luke, and keep rockin’ it!

Luke Mason is a new author to me, and I look forward to reading more from him.

Bad Intern was a quick read filled with great lines that made me giggle. The things that Jen gets up to and the thoughts she has are hilarious. She really is a bad intern!

An opportunity to impress the VP, Brett, the one she happens to have her eye on, arises and Jen jumps at the chance. When he announces that she will be joined by another intern, she is disappointed, but it quickly turns into something interesting.

The first line of the blurb really sums it all up - Booze, sex and revenge served hot and sticky.
There certainly was a bit of everything in here. Adding comedy into the mix too, certainly makes for a great story.

Definitely an author to watch!

A quick read, it only took me about an hour to finish. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but Bad Intern is a nice distraction. I can't wait to see what else Luke Mason produces.

Jen has a sort of dark sense of humor and I love it. She wants to get through life without working too hard, unless it will help get her what she wants. And what she wants is the rich VP.

However, you don't always get what you want or what you were expecting. This is proven true when she spends a day in the office with just her co-worker Pete. Pete is the guy that Jen doesn't want. He's good-looking sure, but he's not rich.

When Jen's personality takes a turn and she shows Pete the side of her she tries to hide, things get interesting.

There were many little hot scenes in this book and plenty of humor. Luke Mason is good at giving you the sexy times you want, with laugh out moments you didn't know you needed. His writing flows well and quickly, and before you realize it you're finishing the book, wishing there was more because you need it.

I didn't really like Jen at first. I thought she was selfish, stuck-up, and an idiot. However once I saw the vulnerable side of her I knew that that wasn't true. She was just lost. It's sad, and I can only hope that we get a glimpse of her later on being happy with the man who cares about her.

Luke Mason has caught my attention, I will be on the look out for his future work.

A pleasing debut novella - great fun and an enjoyable read.

This is the story of Jen the intern, who is a real minx and has her sights on the VP at her work and spends her time plotting how she can ensnare him. She has an annoying work colleague/fellow intern Pete who she is finds mildly irritating until they are forced to spend the weekend working on a special project.

They get up to some eye-popping shenanigans when they have the offices to themselves, suffice to say it has taught me to always wash out my work mug when I get in to the office on a Monday morning!!

Without spoilers, this book shows that you can sometimes get what you want and yet end up disappointed.

I gave Bad Intern 4 stars overall as I really enjoyed the light-hearted aspect, but at times found Jen just a little too abrasive and selfish as a character.

Luke Mason tells the quirky story of Jen the intern. She's a cynical young woman who carries the angel lightly on one shoulder and the devil much heavier on their other. Her desire to climb the corporate ladder consumers her mental game and she is the queen of strategizing her foiled goals. Pete is the yin to her yang. She is so consumed with herself however, she fails to see Pete and all of his virtue.

Mason's ability to infuse humor and pop culture throughout this piece is brilliant. His vernacular splendid and welcomed. The dirty deeds of Jen, with her blasé outer shell, stylistically deepen with the juxtaposition of Pete as her pawn. Truly a fun read and I look forward to future works by Luke Mason

This book is a good quick read and will have you laughing at the crazy things Jen does.

Jen is a intern who is crushing on her boss. She does things to try and get his attention and volunteers to work on a Saturday to let him know she is serious about her job. Her antics on Saturday with her fellow Intern Pete who has a crush on Jen will have you laughing and wondering they will get caught doing these crazy things.

This book has some crazy sex scenes and will leave you going OMG no she didn't just do that at work.

I wish it was longer but can't wait to see what else Luke has in store for us.

Bad Intern is a quick hot read!
Jen's an intern and looking to grab the VP of the company.
Wanting to make a good impression she volunteers to do a job on the weekend. She is partnered with another intern Pete.
I really liked Pete he's good looking, smart and caring.
Jen is feisty and her inner dialogue had me lol!
She's a little too careless for me though and I wondered sometimes at her actions. I didn't understand her attitude given that she comes from money and didn't really lack for anything.
Loved when she and Pete had their action packed day together!
Bad Intern is a well written book with some scorching scenes!

Sometime getting what you want isn't really what you want. And sometimes the things you try to avoid are really what you need.

Jen is an ID intern at a big company. She normally goes unnoticed, unless it is by another geek. Paul is also an intern at the same company. While he has been trying to get Jen's attention, Jen wants the CEO. Jen tries to get noticed and in turn winds up working a weekend with Paul. Should be easy, but when boredom gets the best of them they find themselves in looking at each other in a different way.

While this was a short read, it really was fun. If you are looking for a great story, hot sex, and just a good time then please read this book.

Luke Mason is a new author to me so I had no idea what I was in for. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a quick read but boy is it hot.

Intern Jen has problems. She has a crush on her boss, her co worker Pete has a crush on her and she's basically just a messed up nymph who can't help but get into trouble. When she finds herself working with Pete, things get a little out of hand and the hot sexy games start.

I really enjoyed this book. Jen made me laugh, the chemistry and hotness is off the charts and it kept my interest. I would have liked a bit more, I felt the story could have been a bit longer but I still enjoyed it and will definitely be keeping an eye out for more from Luke Mason.

We've all been there.... Stuck at work on a Saturday when all we want to do is rebel and maybe get a little revenge on the jerks at work that we don't like.

This debut novella from new author Luke Mason satisfies our craving for all THAT and even more! It won't take long to get through this story, but sometimes a quickie can be a very good thing...

Bad Intern is hot, steamy, and a little bit dirty, just like we like it. Jen and Pete really know how to spice up a boring Saturday at the office.

I can't wait to see what other stories Luke Mason has to tell... Whatever they are, you can be sure they're hot!

I don't normally read short stories, but recently I've turned into a quickie read junkie. Bad Intern is one of my favorites! The words flowed effortlessly. Which just the first few turns of the page, I was hooked. Luke Mason is amazing. I fell in love with his writing style from the jump. The humor, the wit, the hot as hell chemistry between the characters. This novella was perfect. Luke now has a new fan! I will one click anything he writes from now on! Normally one falls in love with the characters or the story line, I have fell hook, line, and sinker for this author!!

Jen is a woman with a mission: landing herself a man with looks and money. She's got her eyes on the one she wants, but her co-worker Pete has his eyes on her.
This short story is a beauty. I liked the different characters we met and their dynamic as well as Jen's craziness and determination. I love my smut with a side of laughter and this one definitely made me laugh. As the blurb says is up to the reader to decide whether Jen is a bad intern or bad person. ;)

Bad Intern tells the story of Jen and her shenanigans while interning at an office. She is crushing on the VP, and her daydreaming about fooling around with him are funny yet hot at the same time! She ends up stuck working with Pete, another intern, on a weekend project, and they end up finding a bottle of liquor and having some sexy fun. This short story is well written. I will admit, I would have liked to see a little bit longer story with more from these characters! Sexy yet humorous which always makes for a good read! I'm looking forward to more from this new author!
