--- Minima! 1-4 ---
Plot: ...Ok.
Penokohan: Ok.
Gambar: Ok.

Bagaimana jadinya jika boneka dapat memperlihatkan emosi mereka?

Ame dikenal sebagai gadis pendiam dan tertutup. Tapi gara-gara bertemu Nikori, kehidupannya terasa makin berat! Padahal sebenarnya, Nikori tidak bermaksud begitu. Ia hanyalah boneka hidup yang ingin membantu kehidupan Ame.

Eheh (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Disisi lain, plotnya... terasa... ngg menjengkelkan.

^^ Mwahaha!

It’s not bad it’s just… missing something maybe? This is probably my second time reading this because I finally have the whole series. It’s a bit of a drag. Maybe because I was thinking it’s be more of a love story? But it seems like it’s about friendship more than anything else. There are elements of love both platonic and romantic, but it’s hard to know which way this will go? Obviously the focus is on the doll, but then I’m the beginning there was a wedding? Is it the girl’s wedding? Is it foreshadowing something else?? Hopefully the next book answers these questions…

Wow! Where do I start with Minima!: Volume 1?

The main character, Ame, is a so angst-ridden that she runs away from all of her problems. She cannot handle anything that goes bad and seem to be a big coward. For these reasons, I couldn't stand the main character.

Nicori is more annoying than amusing. I really didn't like him either. So, it is kind of a problem when I find myself not caring at all about the two main characters in a book.

My soon to be 13-year old daughter loves the Pichi Pichi Pitch and Mamotte Lollipop books, so I suggested that she try this book. She returned it to me unfinished and told me that she didn't like it. Uh oh. She is the target audience.

Then there is a adaptation to English. It is horrible. The English doesn't flow well and is very awkward in its phrasing.

The artwork is pretty good, but the eyes are freaky. They just don't look right. They kind of make all the characters look kind of like they are always in shock. Gasp!

So, all of the issues named above really put this book in my just barely readable list. Maybe things will get better in Minima!: Volume 2. Gosh, I can only hope so.

I rated this book a 5 out of 10.

It seems like it is cute. Of course it starts out with a wedding and you have no clue who is getting married. (which will drive me crazy). But it has Ame who finds a toy at the amusement park and the toy can talk. Everyone can hear the toy talk. The toy becomes famous around the school since it can talk. Ame is very quiet and shy and seems to have a crush on one of the boys which of course the toy sorta let's out that she does. She has two other friends a Girl who seems to hang out with all of the boys but seems to care about Ame and another friend who is a boy Midori who is very nice and funny I think. He gives her things and helps her out with Nicori the toy. He seems to be there for her. I am not sure who Ame is suppose to be with. But so far I think I like Midori the best since he seems to do things for Ame and watches out for her.

Very silly, and by the end of the book, I still wasn't sure where the series was going. On the other hand, I really liked a couple of the characters, and it has potential.
