Trinity issue #3 looks beautiful from start to end. The panels are carefully placed, most of the time aiming for symmetry. Unfortunately, nothing much has happened in this issue except for a retelling of the death of Bruce Wayne's parents like it hasn't been told for a million times.

The whole hallucination thing though enables the Trinity to have some interesting dialogue like how they should be strong together for the days to come.

Batman is flashing back to his origins when his parents were murdered, distracted from his objective. Ä la Justice League #8, this is another "calm before the storm."

More psychological but not very well done. Not bad, but not really good neither!

The story surrounding Batman is easily predictable and isn't the reason why this is a good comic. Though the interaction between the three makes it much better.

One extra star because absolutely fantastic art! This issue has quite beautiful illustrations to symbolize the story in ways, makes it much more enjoyable to read.

Alfred and Lois add much more to this issue!

This is the best issue yet. The Trinity is Gotham as young Bruce deals with the murder of his parents, but there is something not right about the events they are seeing. Dr. Quenzel makes an appearance as well as another famous Gotham psychiatrist. Pretty cool :)

Not bad, but not very exciting really. I think it's just this arc though. The Lois sup-plot is interesting though.

Not a single word or frame wasted.Batman takes a excruciatingly painful trip down memory lane.

Another example of gorgeous art...and the storyline is building to something fantastic.... And the last panel reveal, I can't wait.

Not really bad. I loved how Manapul entered Batman's mind. Just because I love Batman, I bought this issue at the cost of knowing it belongs to an arc.

I'm more of a Batman fan, so this worked a little better for me. However, it also feels like there's a little more to work with dramatically in Bruce's backstory than Clark's.
