“If you’re not paying, you’re the product."

Bryce would do well to remember that old cliche the day he spots the advertisement offering an all-expenses-paid trip to Japan. But the promise of a free vacation proves too tempting for the handsome college freshman to resist, and Bryce soon discovers that everything has its price, including him. In short order, our young hero will find himself unwittingly plunged into a secret world of sex and bondage where he and his friends are reduced to the sexual playthings of some of Japan’s richest and most powerful men. It's a spring break that Bryce will never forget–and possibly, never escape!

Thrill along with Bryce over the course of this blisteringly-hot, full-length erotic novel as he struggles to accept and understand his blossoming sexuality, the allure of submission, and his burgeoning, confusing feelings for his best friend and travel companion. Join Bryce and his fellow spring breakers as they embark on a non-stop exploration of domination, humiliation, degradation, and heretofore unimagined heights of physical ecstasy!

M. Stonehouse's stunning, stylistic prose and captivating erotic imagery make SPRING BROKEN impossible to put down. Fans of Stonehouse's other books, LEARNING HIS PLACE, PLEASING PATRICK and BOBBY'S BIG BLAST will find plenty to love in Bryce’s sudden submission and utter objectification, and new readers are sure to delight in the sizzling, explosive scenes of man-on-man action. Whether you dream of submitting to the whims of an alpha male or long to possess a beautiful young man like Bryce, SPRING BROKEN is sure to excite!

SPRING BROKEN features intense depictions of graphic gay male sex and explores themes of bondage, domination, submission, humiliation, puppy play, corporal punishment, chastity, bukkake, public and group sex, reluctant sexual servitude, master/slave role play, and objectification. If you find such pursuits distasteful, please look elsewhere. If not...read on!

I just didn’t love this book. I thought I was going to be so turned on, but I was just bored. Treating people like animals is a total turn off to me. This could have been so sexy but it wasn’t. It was just kind of boring..

Finding good erotica to read is sort of an interesting process. You might not think that compelling storytelling and skillful writing are all that important when you're just looking for a smutty little tale to get your rocks off to, but I'd disagree; any erotica is still a story, first and foremost, and whether or not the aesthetic and technical aspects of the story hold up to scrutiny can make or break even the most whimsically-porny escapades.

At the end of the day, though, a big part of enjoying sex stories frankly involves just trying to find ones that include as many of your turn-ons and as few of your turn-offs as possible. Especially if you --like me -- are inclined towards more fetishistic erotica as a matter of course, and even moreso if you -- like me -- have gotten kind of picky and particular about your kinks being indulged.

I'd say that as close to 90 or 95% of "Spring Broken" did indeed indulge those kinks, along with just generally providing an enjoyable, singular story with likable characters and outlandishly entertaining events. Japanese Doms and Japan itself as a setting seem to me like surprisingly underused ideas in M/m fiction, considering the prevalence of Yaoi and slashy anime, so on a certain level it was just nice to have this sort of thing if only as a change of pace from the stuff we usually get.

Moreover, I just like how balls-to-the-walls outrageous and brazen this story goes with its conceits and scenes. Sure, there's a clandestine agency pairing up hot American boys for a summer of sex slavery with rich Japanese owners; why not. Yup, they got depilatory cream that makes you super horny and sensitive, they got paralyzing sushi, and they got shocking cockrings and butt vibrators that apparently never need to be charged; WHY NOT! Look: it's porn. And there's a place in porn for hyper-realistic settings and grounded situations, and then there's a place to just go wild and indulge in the most fantastically smutty ideas ever. I wish more stories would only be so shameless.

...And then, unfortunately, there's that 5-10% of this story that suddenly hits my "turn-off" button, and even I was surprised at how rapidly I lost interest in the proceedings.

Just to be clear, overall I enjoyed this story enough to want to check out some of his other offerings. But as I've also said, I've gotten kind of nitpicky about stories I read filling my kinks exactly, and probably would've ended this book a bit differently if I had any say!

Can't say this did anything for me-in fact, I barely made it through. There was really no angst, which considering the subject, there should have been. There was just nothing believable about the story.

Incredibly hot

I really appreciated the author's note asset the beginning of the book very clearly setting expectations for the story, and contrasting it to reality.

Bryce was very impulsive and a bit reckless, but what 19 year old isn't? He was very engaging and I liked him from the first. Alex was a confusing character for me and I don't quite understand what about him Bryce is attracted to. Their submission however, was so very hot and delightful to read.
