My Thoughts
First, a Note
This review is long overdue on my blog. Every time I tried to sit down to write the review for it, I wanted to actually use more of the truly wonderful prompts before I reviewed it. But then today, I decided it is OK. I have read the book and worked on some of the prompts. And starting today, I will work on finding my awesome as I go from prompt one to prompt thirty.

So, back to reviewing the book. I love, love, love this journal. While I do have the ebook (should have gotten the physical one instead is what I realize). Right now, I am doing the prompts on a regular old notebook using the prompts in my ebook.
While I am normally not a self-help book type of person, this book is full of fun, inspirational and creative prompts, and that totally resonates with me.
If you are looking for something deep, spiritual, or soul-searching, this might not work for you, though you could easily add more depth and meaning to any of the prompts here. And that is another cool thing -you can adapt it to fit your style and your time table.
You can do the prompts anyway you want to – do many a day, do one over many days, do one or more or all of them everyday, do one a day for 30 days – what matters is discovering your awesomeness in the process. And this journal does help with that. Do these prompts with family and friends, so everyone can benefit!
It makes you smile and takes you from being your worst critic to being your best cheerleader.
I do love that this book simply focuses on practical things we can do, like sending a text message to someone, writing a list of songs-to-dance-to, drawing a mandala, making something, decluttering, and more.
And yes, before I forget, the art is adorable, beautiful, colorful and darling!
In Summary
Between artsy (don’t worry if you think you are not) prompts, list-making, discovering yourself , and thinking about others, this journal takes you on a awesomeness journey without you realizing it!
So, worth it – either for yourself or as a gift for that someone who you know will enjoy books like this.

A fun, quirky book that challenges you to let go of your stresses, to take life less seriously and feel uplifted through 'play', love, creativity and imagination. In doing so, you will be rewarded by finding your awesome.

This book would make a great gift for someone you love or for yourself. It is a journal meant to be written, doodled, and colored in. The daily ideas range from silly to serious and all will help to lift your mood.

This is a fun little book that I had originally thought would be entertaining for me to do during my "me" time, which is the time I take to unplug for the day and just concentrate on things that appeal to me. However, as I was reading and going through this book, I couldn't help to think how much fun this would be to incorporate into the time that I have with my son - either as just part of his usual day, or maybe even during his schooling. I decided that it would probably be best as something to do during free time, and not make it seem like something mandatory that he would have to do. I also decided to just go with a few of the activities for my son as he is still young and very much a boy on some things, so most was still part of the daily routine for me. What activities I did with my son, he did seem to enjoy - especially anything that had to do with doodling ("Doodle Your Loves") or singing ("Songs To Belt"). I think this helped a little in his confidence to just be himself, even when others are around.
As for myself? I used this book, day-by-day, as part of my nightly routine to wind down. It was something that could be done in as little or as long as I needed, and I always found myself looking forward to the next day's activity. I think this book would definitely be something that younger females (and males) would enjoy, though judging by my husband's little side looks to me as I was telling him about the book - I think some men may think finding their "awesome" is getting a little too deep for them. ;)

I think that this would be much more enjoyable with the books in your hands, doodling and writing along in the book as you go. I came across this book when I was very depressed following the death of my oldest son and I am so glad I did. The only thing better than a kindle copy of this book would be a paper copy.
This book is about being kind to yourself and loving yourself but it is also about showing the world that you love yourself but not in an arrogant way. It features 30 days of tasks designed to put you back at the centre of your priorities.. Things like writing a rocking your life list, showing the world it is more awesome with you in by sending your thoughtfulness to others, write a self love mantra, making a not-to-do list and writing yourself a love letter. Mostly these are small things that can easily be added into your day, sometimes they are longer things and sometimes they make you actually stop and really think about what it is you're being asked to do and figuring out what you need to do to commit to that day's task. Every task builds you up a little and makes you think a little, sometimes about yourself, often about others. At the end of the book I felt lighter and more with it and an awful lot less depressed. What more can I ask of a book?

I really enjoyed taking part in this.
Some of the days challenges were things I already do, so I just did the next days challenge.
There were some really good ideas and I found the process thought provoking and character shaping.

This is a wonderful small book to work with for at least 30 days. It offers ideas and lots of creative space to find back to your awesome - and we are all awesome, we're just hiding it well.
Some of the ideas were not new to me, like writing a letter to yourself, but with the added bonus of a creative project to go with it, I think I might be more tempted to explore them.

From simply writing kinds things about yourself to encouraging your mind to get creative and draw too at points, colour designs you create, list positives vs negatives in your life and find what you appreciate and want to manifest in your life. The journal also encourages uncluttering your life by donating and binning or reusing for others benefit and your own.

I thought this was a lovely book and would make a great present for those who enjoy mindfulness as it helps you fall in love with yourself and would help prepare you for meditation. Some of the ideas I found a bit weird but I loved the artwork. I read it as an ebook but this is really a book you need in print to fully appreciate and interact with.

This is a cute and fun little journal full of colorful illustrations and 30 days of self-care sorts of prompts. Examples are to write your not-to-do list of things to stop doing, design a t-shirt about yourself, make a list of what you'd save from a fire if you just had a few minutes to grab what was most important to you, make a mandala, and so on. Many are artistic and others are the list type.

This is a great little book of goodness. It's inspirational and awesome. Regardless of where you are in the cycle of life, it will speak to you in ways that you've either forgotten or never realized existed. I recommend the actual paperback version of this book so you can create things that make you smile...and trust me you will.

If you have a friend who needs a boost, there may be no better gift to give her than this book. It’s a grown-up activity book giving thirty days of pick-me-up activities with integrated fun worksheets.
Two things that I really liked about it are:
- It’s not too ‘spiritual’. There’s no mumbo-jumbo. Yoga and meditation hardly feature. (Not dissing yoga/meditation but they don’t work for all.) It’s a very practical book.
- There’s not just a focus on the self, but also on making others feel good. I loved that aspect.
The tone is friendly, the illustrations are bright and fun.
One thought - I hope the publishers will offer a download for the worksheets,( essential for the Kindle edition) , so don’t feel inhibited by worrying about ‘spoiling’ their book. (Or others seeing it on the shelf and having a nosy.)
Finally, you might have noticed that in the first line of this review I called your friend ‘her’. This book is clearly aimed at women – the illustrations see the reader as female. However, if your friend is a man who’s secure enough to live with that, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for him too.

This is a 30 day challenge I really want to do! Seems like the perfect time to start a new direction, at the beginning of the new year! This activity book is perfect for anyone that is super busy with housework, a career, and raising a family! When do you take time for loving yourself? If you’d like me, you just don’t. I would be so much happier if I just did half the things in this book I know it would make me so much happier about my life!

I actually read this book before but was trying to do one challenge a day and didn't quite finish it. I recently picked this book back up and just read through it. As a creative person, I LOVE this book!! Even if you do not consider yourself creative, there are challenges that you can do. None of the challenges are so difficult that they require special skills. The challenges really help you grow as a person and learn more about yourself. I think my favorite part was writing a mantra of self-love to read every morning. Thank you to NetGalley for giving me a chance to read this.

Find your Awesome is a thought-provoking, engaging and entertaining book that helps you tap into yourself and find out what makes you unique. I love to journal and the only regret I had is I didn’t have a copy of the book in paperback so that I could jot down my thoughts on the page. This book presents a 30 day challenge to help you dive into your feelings and discover your love for self. It is very motivational and inspirational. Contains cute illustrations and delightful daily tasks. So much fun that it doesn’t see like a typical self help book. Definitely recommend.

Find Your Awesome was an exercise in positivity, creativity, and all around well, awesomeness! I not only reviewed this but participated in the activities ( and still am!) with a feeling of satisfaction. This book by Judy Clement Wall should be in the hands of every counselor, teacher, camp counselor, activities director...anyone that does any kind of training. I can see it being used, possibly adapted to different areas of business as well. Excellent in concept and delivery.

This book is a fun 30 day journal toward self-love. I loved the fun artwork and font used as well as the lovely doodles for the reader to complete.
The book gives a daily self-love practice to do over the course of a month, or longer if desired and at the end, the author encourages the reader to pick their favourite daily practices from the month to recreate their own self-care month.
I am looking forward to recreating some of these, I especially loved the idea of the personal manifesto and things to save in the fire.

Find Your Awesome is an entertaining step by step instruction workbook that will help you introspect and learn to love yourself. This book is in the form of a 30 day challenge, but you can shorten or lengthen the period according to your need. I took more than 30 days to do some and I didn’t even do those challenges in that order (which probably is not how you should do).
If you are looking for a life changing piece of advice, then Find Your Awesome may not be your book. But you will definitely love it if you are up for fun and encouraging challenge to do. The book has place for you to write your lists and goals (like a journal) but I ended up using the good ol’ pen and paper.
Final thought: Entertaining way to introspect and accept self love.
Recommended to: Self help lovers who are looking for a monthly challenge.

I love this book, its so cute and its easy, it lays it all out there for you to achieve a sense of self in this crazy world. Now the task however may sound easy but from someone who is very shy, going up to a random stranger and hugging them, woah maybe not thank you. But its a journey we all need to take and i think this book makes it so much easier!

I decided to try and find my awesome by following the 30 day challenge. I must admit I didn't always exactly do every one of the daily challenges and sometimes I did more than 1 in a day. I can't say that it completely changed my life but there were a few good tips which I want to try and keep up with, such a being unexpected. I also really enjoyed making my own t-shirt designs.

I received a copy of this book to read through NetGalley in exchange for a fair review. Find Your Awesome by Judy Clement Wall is a fun and encouraging read! With whimsical illustrations and a casual warm tone, the book challenges you to 30 days of ways to engage with your creativity and to value yourself. I tend to be a little wary of both "love yourself" and "30 Day Challenge" books, but I was pleasantly surprised to find many activities that I really wanted to try. Wall's tone is so encouraging and warm, with suggestions on how to make the challenge your own, that Find Your Awesome feels inspiring rather than daunting. Best of all, Wall gives enough suggestions and ideas that almost any of the days could be spun into their own 30 day adventure. As a mom, teacher, and artist I look forward to trying some of the activities with students, friends and family. I found this book pretty cool, this book make you do things that should be habits, because self love is something that everyone deserve to experiment, self appreciation, happiness with our own body, with our life, with the people who loves us. This book make you think about things that are easy to do but we never do. As an introvert, a few things here are out of my confort zone, and even if i don't want to change my introvert way of live, everybody needs to try new things, right?... So let's try it

It's undeniably true that most people are their own worst critics. We would generally never dream of being as critical or negative to other people as we casually are to ourselves. I've never had much luck with the whole 'look in the mirror and tell yourself you're great'! (I felt like a complete goofball). Anyhow, this book has a much more thought out and structured method for internalizing positivity and being kind and loving to ourselves (and those around us).
Set up as a personal journal/activity book, this 30 day challenge is full of sweet and brave daily challenges to increase your ability to care for and cherish yourself. Some of the exercises are profound, some are a little bit goofy, they're all positive and uplifting and do-able. The daily challenges have checklists with spaces for notes and lists to be filled in by the reader.
One of the first 'rules' is that 'there are no rules'. Life is a journey and not just a set of criteria to be gotten through.
The art is wonderful. Much of the book reminds me a lot of the currently popular 'adult coloring books'. The daily challenges have author-written examples to get the reader's creativity primed. (As an aside, I think it's incredibly sweet and brave of the author to bare her own feelings and meanings - there's a lot of vulnerability and trust involved to put these things out there).
Really good advice and an easy to digest format. We all need more hope and love in our lives.
Personal experience. I started this challenge the first day I received this book. Starting on day 2, I started getting comments and compliments about what a good mood I was in, and how happy I seemed. I have often gotten comments about how nice/upbeat/positive I am in general, so it really surprised me to get so many comments from people who are used to my normal level of 'goofy/happy'. I'm still getting comments (on day 4 now).

This book was received by HCI Books in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.
The only thing I have to say about this book is that when it is released, I will be standing in line to buy it. EVERYONE needs a book like this, even if you do not like journaling. With COVID-19 still sweeping the nation, it is so important to stay healthy and positive mentally and this book will definitely help with that. With all the creative entries and fun doodles surrounding the book, it will sure catch some attention and readers can start improving their mind and find their awesome!
We will consider adding this book in our Self-Help collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.
The only thing I have to say about this book is that when it is released, I will be standing in line to buy it. EVERYONE needs a book like this, even if you do not like journaling. With COVID-19 still sweeping the nation, it is so important to stay healthy and positive mentally and this book will definitely help with that. With all the creative entries and fun doodles surrounding the book, it will sure catch some attention and readers can start improving their mind and find their awesome!
We will consider adding this book in our Self-Help collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

This came up for review just as I had bought a traveler's journal to do art in. So I figured why not? If nothing else a few of the prompts could be useful.
Luckily for me, the first rule of this challenge is that there are no rules. Good thing as figuring out how to do the burning while living in an apartment wasn't a fund prospect (I listened to the no rules, rule and did a shredding instead) -- same concept, less of a chance of setting off smoke detectors.
This is a useful book and I do like it. No part of the challenge is so terrifying that you couldn't do it. Whether you want to stay within your comfort zone or push yourself beyond it, there are ways you could accomplish the challenges.
That said, I have mixed feelings about whether or not I'd suggest this book to people (yes even as I gave it 4 stars). The thing is that these challenges are all prompts you could easily find online. The author's experiences and encouragement may be worth it to some. It may also be worth it to those who simply prefer the good old-fashioned way of doing things. Or to those who just like having these kinds of things in their hot little hands, away from the computer. If that's you, then this book is awesome. If you don't mind sitting at the computer searching for prompts on your own, you may find that this book doesn't add much to your journal / self-help journey.

I’m not going to score this book as I don’t want to give it a bad score - as I don’t feel it deserves one. Nor do I want to give it a high score for the same reason.
Basically, this book was not for me. There is nothing wrong with the writing or the story; I just couldn’t get into it.
This does not make it a bad book, and I really want to emphasise this. Despite not liking it and not being able to get into it, I did see potential and I did see a good writer. I, the reader, and this book just weren’t matched and I refuse to mark it down because of my own faults. :-)

This is a self guided introspective to discover who you are and what your goals are. It gives you a place for creativity, a place to think creative thoughts and write them down, think about them.This book is inspiration, it makes a great gift for a graduate (female), or retiree. It is self motivation and exploration, self help and a place to write your ideas in a give and take with the book to guide your thoughts, and a place for you to record your response. There are lists to make, and check, boxes to fill in with doodles, ideas, pretties. It makes you think, and spurs on your creative genes. In the style of adult coloring books, but with great text to make you really think about it, this is perfect for doodling ideas, and much better than leaving these thoughts on endless scraps of paper. This book would go great with those of us creating vision boards. I want a paper copy of "Find Your Awesome" because it is just awesome...

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a neat book to read about a subject that few people want to talk about. The illustrations seem a little juvenile, but some made me laugh out loud (like imagining my impending marriage to a hamster). I could have really used this book as a teenager with little self-confidence, and it probably would have made an impact on me. A lot of the exercises are silly, like designing a shirt, and others more serious (making a life long dream list, or a self-portrait).
I would suggest this book for teens and adults to reflect on their own self-worth. The book itself probably isn't directly for children, but some of the tasks can be adapted for children, or for parents working through it to share with their kids. You can work through this at your own pace and there are few limits placed on this as a tool for self-discovery.

A fun, inspirational 30 day journal with creative prompts mixed in. Designed to help people learn to love themselves, it offers different ways to let loose, spark creativity, spread love, and appreciate one's self more freely. This isn't a deep, soul-searching journey, so don't expect great depth from all the prompts, though some could get very real depending on your mindset when you do it. It is, however, happy, enjoyable, and very adaptable. It's available as an e-book, but do yourself a favor and go for the physical copy so you can doodle in it!
