Drew
Get down on one knee.

Ask her to marry me.
Simple…right?

Zoey
He doesn’t understand that planning a wedding is a big deal. I’m not a Bridezilla—give me a break. I just know what I want, and everything has to be perfect. After all, I am marrying my Mr. Right.
Aren’t I?

From roomies to lovers, it was an easy transition for Zoey and Drew. It’s only natural that marriage was the next step. Between Drew’s hectic work schedule and Zoey’s obsession with planning the perfect wedding, neither of them expected it to be this hard.

And the only way they knew how to communicate: fight until they’ve started a war.

Will Zoey and Drew manage to set aside their differences and make it to the altar, or is this the end for the perfectly mismatched couple?

So soo good! I just ate it up. This was a total page turner for me.
I love Drew & Zoey! They belong together.

I started this book (after totally loving Roomie Wars) thinking "it'll be just a quick read -novella- about their wedding and HEA" wrong! It was so much more. It took me for a ride in which I LoL•SMH•WTF! and held my breathe. Yes, I also got teary eye. *BEAUTIFUL*

These two frustrate me to no end, however I love their story and can't put the books down. Zoey and Drew are engaged and planning the wedding, but plenty of factors come into play in this one, such as cold feet, no communication, jealousy (not over done), and busy work lives.

These two trying to bring everything together was frustrating but I love them. They needed to stop over thinking things, and to actually sit down and talk to each other. I really like both their characters, and their friends, even if some silly things happen.

I did wish there was a little bit longer spent on the resolution part of their story, but I still sped through this in one day and can't wait to move onto the third and final book in the series.

Roomie Wars was one of my favorite books of 2016 and when I heard there would be a follow up, I was like “oh I have to read this!” Zoey and Drew had this chemistry that captured me in and in book 2, well it’s like everything keeps on flowing perfectly with a whole new set of problems going on for our couple.
Drew proposes to Zoey in a crazy kewl kind of way (you have to read about it to understand) and she accepts. But things have changed for them both – they went from roommates to lovers to engaged couple in pretty much in a blink of an eye. They are busy with work on both sides and Zoey gets a caught up in the wedding planning and the wedding spending. Then Drew is working all these crazy hours at work- with him being an ER doctor and all. He doesn’t have time to spend focusing on wedding planning which upsets Zoey. Plus there is a new doctor in the ER who has her eye on Drew. When Zoey finds this out , everything starts getting to her- the wedding planning, the costs and then this hussy who is after her man and her man doesn’t seem to realize or really care plus her work on top of everything. She is about to blow from all the stress. Someone sees the stress Zoey is under and starts paying attention to her at work. But this doesn’t help matters between Zoey and Drew- it causes a rift to happen and then everything blows sky high -- The night of their bachelor/bachlorette parties is when everything goes bad. Will Drew and Zoey get married? Should Drew and Zoey get married? Are they even still in love or they attracted to other people? Oh I was freaking out and didn’t know what to expect but this story will resolve everything and in the best way possible. The ending answers all questions and leaves open a possible 3rd book which I definitely hope to see happen.

My Rating: 4.7 stars *****

I loved Roomie Wars. Laughed out loud loved. Wedding Wars is a novella followup on Roomie Wars and has a bit, or a lot more angst.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Drew and Zoey are ready to take the plunge. Just a bit of planning right? As per usual the ceremony starts growing out of control and causes tension with the soon to be bride and groom. With tension comes doubt.

"Zoey became a bridezilla. It came out of nowhere. One minute we are discussing dates and keeping it low-key and the next minute, doves are going to drop the wedding rings into our hands."

Drew pissed me off a bit in this book. I still love him but for sure could have smacked him around a time or two. So Zoey is a bit of a bridezilla. (She was whether she wanted to admit it or not.) So their schedules are hectic. No reason for his behavior or attitude. Okay okay he was pretty realistic making this story all the better.

"I guess I always ran to him and this time was hard because he was the person I was trying to run from."
Zoey was a riot in Roomie Wars and is funny in Wedding Wars but she also struggles with their situation. I was appreciative of her resolve to her relationship and attempts to avoid inappropriate situations but ladies and gents she was no basket of roses either.

Funny, angsty roomies to wedding story.

I was provided a copy for an honest review.

Alright, crank up the 80s tunes again, because ‘Wedding Wars’ had me riding that emotional rollercoaster straight back into Zoey and Drew's world, only this time, they took not communicating to a whole new level. If ‘Roomie Wars’ was a mixtape, Wedding Wars was that frustrating sequel track that almost makes you throw the walkman out the window. Like, guys, we’ve been here before. Talk. It. Out. If I could have I would have been this 🤏🏽 close to mailing them a set of walkie-talkies with a sticky note that just says, ‘Use these, PLEASE.’ (you know, if one could travel to the book universe and all).

Zoey and Drew, though? Ugh, I can’t stay mad. Their love for each other still shines through the chaos, and even though I was tearing my hair out at their inability to just say what they feel, my heart did that annoying thing where it melts at the end. As usual, I ended up smiling through my tears like a softie. It’s not as good as the first book, but when these two finally figure their stuff out, it’s worth it.

So, if you’re ready to scream into a pillow over miscommunication but still root for these two lovebirds, then grab your pineapples and dig in 🍍 Just expect more frustration than swooning this time around.

3 stars. Still love them, though 💖 Moving on to Baby Wars, because I need to see how this omnibus all wraps up!

This was such a great addition to roomie wars. I loved how natural the characters are. You can connect with them on so many levels. The writing immediately draws you in and you can't help but feel the emotions as the characters do. I have to admit this book has such a real life feel to it. Every engaged couple goes through the same situations. It's final so we all need to reevaluate how we want our lives to go. I loved this book and plan to read more from this author in the future.

What is going on here? These characters acted like they're 18yo and not 30! Omg, that was so frustrating! I know it's the whole purpose of the book to create this 'mess' but just sit down and talk, that's all it takes. I don't know, maybe I'm just losing my patience with this trope, I almost didn't finish this one because it was so frustrating! I love this author but these books are not it.

Review by Lisa Kane

I loved Roomie Wars and when I heard Zoey Richards and Drew had a novella coming out it was a no brainer for me to sign up!

It blows my mind to this day how we were roomies for four years and wasted our time screwing other people rather than each other. But I guess, like everything in life, things happen for a reason.

I thought this will be a cute little story about the couple getting engaged and then some crazy wedding planning and finally their wedding. NO angst. Little drama. Just laughs. Wrong!

Drew pops the big question (amongst pineapples and pizza boxes-Zoey's weaknesses) and of course Zoey accepts.

Zoey Richards is going to be my wife.

But life has changed a lot for both of them since they went from room mates to lovers. Gone are the days of weekend long sex and sexy romps.

There were days where I could barely walk because my vagina was on the verge of broken. Seriously, I needed a closed-for-repair sign hanging so I could recover. Drew-being the witty doctor-had an answer for that. Any hole's a goal.

Like any bride she gets a little caught up in the wedding planning and the wedding spending. Drew is an ER doctor and works crazy hours. He's always sleep deprived and when he has some down time, the last thing he wants to hear about is what does he think about the font for the wedding invitations, what color napkins for the reception and what kind of icing for the cake. He and Zoey aren't seeing eye to eye. Not to mention there's a new doctor working in the department with him-she's a single mom with an eye on Drew.

Zoey is like a pressure cooker. She's busy at work, and she's planning this wedding without almost any help from Drew. There's a new guy at work-Slater. He's hot, British, talented and more than a little interested in Zoey. Zoey's flattered by the attention, especially as she's not getting much attention from Drew these days.

Drew and I had barely seen each other due to his gruelling schedule.

The night of their bachelor/bachlorette parties brings lots of trouble. Drew really pissed me off in this part and I wanted to chock him with his scrubs. Should Drew and Zoey get married? Are they attracted to other people? I started to get more than a little nervous at this point, sometimes stories don't end the way you think they will and what you want as a reader isn't what the characters want.

"I think we need a break."

Someone hand me a paper bag so I can control my hyper ventilating.

"Nothing, Drew. There's nothing left to say."
There was plenty more to say yet she walked away, head held high as if her life hadn't fallen into pieces.

Lines are erased, but are they crossed? Do Drew and Zoey have enough trust in each other to believe what they say, in spite of the way things look? Drew was the poster boy for manwhores. Does a leopard really change it's spots?

Congrats on this story, Ms. Madsen. You kept me guessing until the end and threw some nice little angsty curve balls in this book!

Our foundation, the friendship that began many moons ago, was built on solid ground.

I was left wanting more of Zoey and Drew after finishing Roomie Wars so I had to immediately one-click Wedding Wars and see what was in store for them next. I wasn’t able to put my kindle down with this novella and was sad to see this story end!

Wedding Wars takes place a year after Roomie Wars ends, and we get to see Drew propose to Zoey in a way that is absolutely perfect for these two. Seeing how nervous he was, and how perfect it went was beautiful and I was like YES these two are officially going to have their happily ever after. But in true Zoey and Drew fashion, things do not go so easily for them. With their conflicting schedules, and Zoey trying to plan the perfect wedding, their wars start up again, and soon they are both starting to figure out if this is truly what they both want, throw in some jealousy and things get interesting in this novella.

Without getting into too much detail, you will want to strangle both of these characters multiple times in this book, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll seriously wonder if they will ever make it to the alter. I was rooting for these two since the beginning of Roomie Wars so I was going to throw my kindle out the window if things didn’t work out between these two, and it almost happened… but Kat T. Masen gave us our happily ever after, even if made our hearts stop a few times before we got it.

If you enjoyed Roomie Wars, then you must read Wedding Wars to see how the rest of Drew and Zoey’s story plays out, and to see more of their epic battles. Trust me you do not want to miss out on this novella, it is not to be missed!

Gahhh I love these guys & I am so bloody happy that the fabulous Kat T Masen decided to write this funny, quirky yet tender novella for Drew & Zoey.

I first met this insanely crazy, adorable & addictive couple in Roomie Wars. Their whole friends to lover’s journey was hilarious & utterly endearing as tumbled towards their HEA – sighhhh & swooon. Wedding Wars is literally the perfect novella for this duo, as they take the next step into forever. I couldn’t get enough. The entire story was fast, funny, sweet & tender & come the end – well I had a smile on my face & a fuzzy feeling in my heart.

So what will you find in this fab lil read I hear you ask!!! OMG the laughs & feels are just as funny, quirky & loveable as when I first met them. The proposal was so THEM in all ways & then the planning – eeeek funny as fuck & as hilarious as you would imagine. Zoey stays true to herself which I frickin adored & gawd does she take planning a simple wedding to the next level lol, while Drew does what he does best – loves on Zoey as if she is the oxygen he breathes, even through all her crazy <3

But that’s not all, nope not by a long shot, because through the laughter, giggles & ridiculousness of planning the perfect wedding, Kat has layered in some real heart tugging moments, the kind that give you a lumpy throat & heavy heart. She developed both of these gorgeous characters in a real honest, stripped back way, as they both question themselves, their feelings & their future. At times, I found myself shouting at both of them in utter despair & then just as quickly I wanted to scoop them up & give them a hug, but my love them grew to new limits come the end.

I can’t recommend Roomie Wars enough & then seriously, you need to jump straight into this because I promise you will love it hard – just like me!!

Sadly, I didn't like this one as much as I liked the actual book. I find that sometimes when authors finally get the MC's together they aren't really sure what to do with them, so they create drama out of nowhere. And that's how most of this book felt.

One of the best parts of Roomie Wars was the banter and friendship that Drew and Zoey shared. I don't see why, once they finally got together, this would change. But it did. Suddenly their relationship was less about substance and more about sex. There was no communication. Zero. For two people who were best friends and talked about everything, this just felt off and forced. The whole issue over planning a wedding, maybe actually sit down and talk about it. There is no such thing as 'I don't have time' when it comes to this. You find time. You make time. You don't just book everything without telling your significant other until he just accidentally sees the bills. Especially when you both had agreed you were saving to buy a house.

Throw in the ridiculous fact that each one suddenly had another person to "tempt" them at work who basically appeared at the same time with the same intent and everything just seemed to far fetched. While I liked Zoey's reasoning's for what she did when she finally explained them, I also don't like how she basically just got everything she wanted with Drew just conceding. I don't know. Parts were cute, but overall it was a let down compared to the first book.

Normally I won't go into the next book or novella straight away but with Zoey and Drew I just couldn't help but dive straight into Wedding Wars, thank you Kat T Masen for giving me an early copy.

Wow what a novella , absolutely perfect I didn't want to put it down to the point I raced home from work to finish it. There was just so much packed into this novella and it just made it seem so quick I just want to go back and read both books again already.

This was such a roller coaster, there was some awesome highs and really terrible lows and I was laughing at one point and then crying the next but that's what makes a great book to make me feel like this.

Zoey and Drew are the most frustrating, loveable, annoying but beautiful couple I just love their story and again one of my favourite couples. I loved how it showed the struggle of everyday life, work getting in the way and how much stress there is to organise a wedding.

What I liked about this book was the grass can be greener on the other side but be grateful for what you have and don't let anything get in between or think that there is anything better around the corner. That the person who you fall in love with isn’t always who you expect but grab it with two hands.

Loved loved loved this book make sure you read Roomie Wars first and do yourself a favour and one click these 2 books you won't regret it.

When I first herd that there was going to be a novella to Roomie Wars I was so excited. To find it on my kindle early was just amazing!! I must admit I am a huge fan of Kat T. Masens work she is super talented so I am thrilled to be able to give an honest review.

We start off the book with the proposal and Drew doesn't disappoint you will swoon and fall in love with him all over again. Zoey and Drew shouldn't work they are like chalk and cheese but that's what is magical about their relationship because they fit each others jigsaw piece perfectly. They get each other they know how each other tick.

The stress of wedding planning added to their already stressful work load mixed with not seeing each other enough is when their relationship is tested. Are they ment to be together, is their relationship strong enough for the bumps in the road ahead?? well you will just have to buy this book to find out. I will tell you tho there will be lots of laughter, lots of nail biting and omg moments, hot and steamy moments so be prepared.

This book will not disappoint. Drew and Zoey are as crazy as ever and I'm so glad to have been able to read more of their story.❤

omg omg omg, this story wow. I so am not kidding this story pretty much takes off seems like a few months after Roomie Wars ended, they flow is perfect the characters are even better as before, maybe that's cause I know who they are and loved them all over again. The author has done an amazing job getting all the right emotions in all the right spots, making you crave more also at the right spots, I found myself not able to put it down for very long at all. It's a short story that will blow your mind. By the end of the story everything take a shift and that is one shocker you don't want to miss at all, take my word on that I wont tell you what happens between Drew and Zoey, just know you have to read this story. The ending has sucked me in and left me craving more and more. I was happy how it ended with a small**spoiler alert** surprise that was even more amazing and has of course left me wondering , lots of wondering but so worth it in the end.

Wedding Wars by Kat T Masen

This book was reviewed for CLiK Book Blog.

Wedding Wars follows on from Kat T Masen's Roomie Wars where we were introduced to Zoey and Drew.

In Wedding Wars, their unconventional romance has progressed and it's with baited breath that we are privy to Drew's proposal to Zoey, in the only way fitting this sweet odd couple. That is with a Pizza boxes and pineapples.

Not everything goes well as wedding plans get underway and they each become overwhelmed with work, life and personal stresses.

Of course, this would not be a Kat Masen book without the authentic soundtrack to the 80's, the hilarious situations these characters get into, not to mention Zoey's zany antics as she sets about planning her perfect wedding, without being a bridezilla.

No spoilers but let me assure you that I can't wait for the next instalment of the Zoey and Drew story!!

I went right into this book after reading Roomie Wars and while it was a very quick read it was still absolutely fantastic.
It starts off with Drew's proposal and I was swooning right from the get go. Zoey had me giggling as always with her quirky but stubborn personality.
She says yes and of course the wedding planning begins.
Of course wedding planning is completely stressful I know I've been there.
Some "complications" happen and it makes for a heart pounding read. Literally had my chest pounding nervous as all hell whether they would survive.
I think I've fallen in love with Drew and Zoey even more in this book and can't wait to see what Kat Masen has in store for these two in the future. I will definitely be reading more from them.

This novella is a must read for those who have read & liked/loved Roomie Wars!

It picks up where Roomie Wars left off & is the continuation of Zoey & Drew's story.

Kat has a knack for writing "real characters" & story lines. Wedding Wars is as realistic as it gets, emotions run high, perceptions are tested as are relationships.

Will Zoey & Drew actually make it down the aisle or will old insecurities & outside forces be to much to overcome?

I would highly recommend this book & all of this authors other titles

At one point, I had to put this down and walk away. It was breaking my heart! I love these two so hard so it was DESTROYING me to watch them go through all they did.

Of course there was humor too. There was a part about pushing him into someone’s um, lady parts, that cracked me up. I did come back to the story though and I am so glad I did. I love this so much, I still want more of them in my life. I luckily got an arc of this.

O.M.G., the same emotions are captured as in Roomie Wars. Drew and Zoey are back and ready to start a future together...or are they? They are both consumed by work and allowing it and wedding plans to interfere in their regular life. What happens when new people enter the scene? Will the temptation be too much as they struggle to remain together?  How far away from one another will they push? This was just fantastic. You feel the emotion, you feel the angst and anger, and you feel the love that just won't quite go away. Beautiful novella you don't want to miss!

Corky and cute

Love the corkiness of Zoey from Roommate Wars til Wedding Wars. She matured yesterday still corky, spunk and cute. The transition from roomies to being a couple is real smooth. Check on the giddy factor when Drew proposed, real creative and realistic, everything Zoey. The test of their relationship made them reevaluate what they value most, check on that as I can relate during my own wedding. It's really stressful and kinda challenges most couples. Good job Kat!

All I have to say about this book is BITCH WTF!! I could handle Drew in the first book, but he’s just turned into a petty, jealous, manipulative asshole.
When your partners like “hey I don’t wanna have sex until our wedding night”, your response shouldn’t be “nah I know you, you want me”, and you definitely shouldn’t force yourself on to them, and then laugh it off when they tell you they’re upset about it.

To conclude: fuck Drew.

This is a great novella on the back of Roomie Wars.

In Roomie Wars Zoey and Drew managed to change from being roomies to lovers fairly easily and got their happily ever after afters but now Drew is thinking and planning the next step in their relationship to go from lovers to husband and wife.

Wedding Wars starts off with a very nervous Drew setting everything up to ask the woman he loves with all his heart, Zoey, to marry him. You feel sorry for him as he's so nervous and desperately trying to make sure everything is perfect for the proposal all the while worrying that she may say no. But of course Zoey says yes because she loves Drew.

Things have changed alot since Drew and Zoey since they went from roomies to lovers. Both of them working hard and with Drew being a Dr in a busy a&e department he's having to work crazy long hours. Due to the long hours Drew is working he decides to leave all the wedding planning down to to Zoey or should we say Zoey the bridezilla.

This is upsetting time for Zoey as she feels her Drew are growing distant and when she finds that there is a hot new female intern working in the same ER department as Drew the green eyed monster appears. hen she sees Drew standing closely to an intern and starts to get her own jealous feelings churning. She feels even more hurt when she finds out that Drew never mentioned that he was getting married to what she sees and a younger, thinner and hotter girl that has appeared in her man's life.

Then we have the new hottie who has started working at Zoey's workplace who goes by the name of Slater who British, very talented at his job and has his eye on Zoey. With Drew hardly being home these days and hardly giving her any attention will Zoey be driven into the arms of Slater??

You can't help but feel sorry for Zoey as she is literally about to explode at any given minute with all the stresses of getting married, the cost of getting married, the planning of her wedding and lets not forget the intern at Drew's workplace and Slater at her workplace.

Is it a sign that when both their stag/hen (bachelor and bachelorette) nights dont go accordingly to plan? Should Zoey and Drew even be getting married? I wont give away any spoilers but the way this author has ended it maybe there is a chance she could carry on Drew and Zoey as i love reading about this mismatched couple who are like chalk and cheese yet they love each so much.

So I ended up buying the Roomie Wars trilogy on sale, forgetting that I had already read Roomie Wars. Oh well. I read it again, it was still cute. But I had not read Wedding Wars (or Baby Wars). It was... meh. I didn’t love that the characters I thought were so cute in Roomie Wars got so absolutely stupid for no reason. Zoey with the Slater guy, and Drew with Raine... I seriously wanted to murder them both for being such monumental idiots. The way this was written, Zoey goes from being this high achieving slacker pizza-loving layabout (the proposal was cute at the beginning) to being obsessed with planning her wedding, and acting like a Bridezilla for whom money was no object. Drew was super annoyed with the whole thing, and Zoey even decided that they needed to “save themselves” for their wedding night (after going at it like rabbits for months, that was super eye-rollable). Drew meanwhile was spending all this time NOT helping with the wedding AT ALL, and don’t get me wrong, as annoying as I found Zoey’s behavior, I did NOT find Drew’s attitude acceptable. Not even a little bit! They were both acting ridiculously dumb. But Drew with Raine at his bachelor party (at the SEX CLUB... WTF?!?) went waaaaaay over the line. If I were Zoey, and honestly I don’t think she even ended up finding out everything that happened that night, I would have DUMPED HIS ASS. What a dick!! Even just “thinking” about sitting around watching strangers have sex with the girl you work with who is obviously into you while “thinking” about how easy it would be to do her up against a wall in her little minidress is NOT someone worth holding onto. I don’t buy that bullshit that since Zoey wasn’t giving it up that Drew was extra revved up and looking at any hot chick. Um no. Not a defendable excuse. Zoey acted stupidly, yeah, doing an invasion of the body snatchers while planning her wedding, but at least she wasn’t a total jerk. In the end, she spent all that time and effort to try and make the wedding something special for Drew. The dick. Yeah, they reunited in the end, and had their dream wedding, but for me that ship had sailed. Drew showed his true colors, and that soured me on this couple in a big way.

I was soooo completely happy to come back and visit Zoey and Drew. I was kinda bummed that it was just a novella; I loved Drew and Zoey that much. No one else understands my love of pizza like Zoey.

For a novella, this book backs a hell of a kick! I was amazingly sucked into this book. I couldn’t look away. For a novella, it sure as hell packed so much into its pages. I was amazed at how many feelings I went through, I mean….ahhhh!!! I almost chucked my darn Kindle when I read the 6 words… "I think we need a break." I mean, really you CAN’T put my soul sista through this!!!

Drew and Zoey made me want to scream and shout at them for some of their choices. They were soooo frustrating in this book but I sooo completely love them! They are so loveable and beautifully, annoying (that makes sense, right?). I think I fell so hard for these two books because this didn’t seem like some crazy pulled outta the sky story… this was like everyday life happening. You could really FEEL and SEE the struggle of not just the everyday problems but also the stress that goes with wedding planning.

I just can’t get over how FULL of the FEELS this book was! It was so much more than I ever expected. There was much more angst and tension. Of course, we still get Kat’s amazing humor through the book. Her writing style and just the wonderful flow makes this story. You will soak these books up, get lost in the people and just adore them.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Wedding Wars by Kat T. Madsen is a follow up novella to her book, Roomie Wars. Wedding Wars is not a standalone and Roomie Wars should definitely be read first in order to fully enjoy this novella. That being said, I enjoyed this but didn’t love it as much as I loved Roomie Wars.

This novella picks up right where Roomie Wars left off. Our couple had gotten engaged and were going to live happily ever after-yay! But then Wedding Wars happened.

Wedding Wars gave me much more of an emotional rollercoaster than I anticipated. There was definitely more tension-which I can understand, I mean, planning a wedding is stressful for some, right? But I didn’t anticipate some of the struggles our characters faced.
This novella had the same sense of humor and writing style as the first, which was the saving grace for me. If you enjoyed Roomie Wars I would say give this novella a shot. It wasn’t quite what I expected but I enjoyed catching up with Drew and Zoey.

Wedding Wars is a sweet little bridezilla novella that picks up where Roomie Wars left off, with Zoey and Drew back to being roommates again. Things are going well for them, and after a very sweet proposal from Drew, things just go downhill. Zoey is that is until Drew proposes. Then everything starts unraveling.

Zoey lets her best friend take over her wedding plans (seriously, I wanted to smack both of them a couple of times) the budget goes out the window, and worse yet, Zoey has a new co-worker that gets Drew's jealousy-gene firing and turning to ... well, you should read this and find out.

It was pretty easy to see where the story was going and even so, I got choked up there a bit at the end. Wedding Wars is a cute follow-up to Roomie Wars, and while you could probably read it standalone, it works better if you read Roomie Wars first.

DNFed way a couple pages in but I went through suffering to get here because I had to read the awful first book and way too much of this book.

I was disappointed in the ending of Roomie Wars and thought if I read this I would at least have some sort of ending. But I swear this writing is worse than it was in the first book. More misogynistic comments were made, a fun little poke at Italians (sarcasm), and omg the cringiest shit I have ever read. That is coming from a Hallmark movie lover.

I don't understand this couple at all and their drama is not worth the mental gymnastics at all. I read the last page and I wouldn't even get a satisfying ending when it comes to this book.

Don't read this or Roomie Wars. I will never pick up from this author again.

A light read but I think I liked Roomie Wars more.

I think the parts where Slater and Raine pushed Zoey and Drew to wonder whether they are really in love or just being comfortable are quite the same, the conversations somehow repeated themselves on both ends. You could feel that both, Drew and Zoey, were having the same thinking approach when reflecting on their relationship.

The whole thing somehow could’ve been richer, I don’t find the exact words to explain this at the moment but I feel like it was missing something, maybe more details or effort into not making things happen in such symmetric/parallel manner with similar synchronized dialogues between the characters.
