Published by Orca books in 1993 with Martin Springett's delicate pencil crayon drawings. This was the first of several picture books we did together.

The only copy I could find on our shelves was autographed to Lacey... maybe I misspelled her name...

An original "folk tale" on the theme of the power of names... When the Owls name their children, Night, Moon and Tomorrow, the young owls are so proud that they claim to be stealthier than the actual night, more beautiful than the real Moon and wiser than the real Tomorrow, they incur the displeasure of their namesakes with unfortunate results.
