The Faith of Desmond Doss

by John Bradshaw

The Faith of Desmond Doss not only tells the incredible true story of Desmond Doss, the inspiration for the movie Hacksaw Ridge, but more importantly, it tells the reader about his faith. Desmond refused to carry a gun, but that doesn’t mean he went into battle unarmed. He faced combat with two things more valuable than any man-made weapon—his Bible and prayer. The message of this small book is that through Bible study and prayer, anyone can develop a relationship with God, and achieve greater faith.

Everyone should read this book!

I believe that if we all figure out how to have this kind of faith, we could all do so much more on earth to win more souls.

Short, like thirty-one pages short, but a great read. A brief account of Medal of Honor recipient Desmond Moss and his heroics as a Army medic. The book details how is faith as a Seventh-day Adventist influenced is actions as a soldier during World War II's bloody battles.
