4.5. It's Marie Force. I am on holidays, you would think I would have time for detailed reviews but nope, have hardly time to read. Love Marie's books. Only gripe I have is that Shannon is not a man's name, there is nobody, especially a male in Ireland who is called Shannon. C'mon Marie.... ridiculous. "Tis a pleasure to meet you'" or something like that - we don't speak like that in Ireland. Don't put in "stage-Oirish" characters like friggin Tom Cruise in Far and Away or whatever the name of that silly film, the one with Nicole Kidman. Sorry, I have no pics and stuff.

It’s “Time for Love” and another voyage to the beautiful and picturesque Gansett Island. Readers will once again be swept away by an emotionally charged romance between two very lucky individuals who are about to find their elusive happily ever after.

The forever kind of love could easily be within reach for Daisy Babson and Dr. David Lawrence. Yes, this may be the right time for a shift from friendship into a deeper and more meaningful relationship. For one, it will be the chance at redemption and the other may find a long-awaited safe haven.

Dr. David deserves special kudos for several outstanding and unforgettable moments in Book 9 of this series. He proceeded with such tender caution in dealing with Daisy’s insecurities (even though she pushed him to the limits and I think he rather enjoyed himself). He also proved that he’s a devoted caring friend and a highly qualified physician on more than one occasion. Although the handsome doc made some whopper mistakes in his previous relationship with the Island’s favorite daughter Janey, I’ve never really felt he was unworthy of a second chance at love. He was always redeemable in my eyes. Marie clearly made him shine.

If she can somehow transform Jim Sturgil into somewhat of a decent guy, she’ll be a freaking true magician. That man is a pure self-absorbed SOB in my opinion and has no redeeming qualities. I truly detest the man to the nth degree!

Among the many delights held on the pages of the latest release, is a surprise wedding where one of our beloved couples spoke their vows and became husband and wife. It was so perfectly them. And, without a doubt, the arrival of a new baby on the Island stirs the pot of emotions and excitement. There are some truly great “couple-moments” throughout this book. The dialog and banter is amazing as usual and what we’ve come to expect from this author.

Readers are provided a great catch-up with reoccurring characters, as well as a meet-and-greet with new ones who you’ll hope to see in future books. Marie Force has a knack for interlinking the old with the new while, at the same time, each book in the series is unique and stands on its own.

We are shown more of the friendship between the good doctor and his nurse practitioner. I love how Marie has developed the friendship shared between David and Victoria. Who would have thought the nurse practitioner/midwife was such a wild girl? More power to you, Vic! And the arrival from Ireland of Seamus O’Grady’s gorgeous cousin, Shannon is just another yummylicious addition!

The face-to-face talk between Carolina and Nora O’Grady was even better than I could have imagined. Loved the way it was handled with such care and feelings for all parties involved – especially dealing with the issue of children, both young and old. I’ll admit to being surprised by Mrs. O’Grady’s reaction to the lady who'd stolen her son's heart and the age difference between Seamus and Carolina and the effect it would have on their relationship.

The Martinez family is formally introduced to readers and their situation touched me in a very personal way and I admit to shedding a few tears while reading their history. I’m excited to learn more about them as their storyline continues to develop. Bravo to the “Force” for always touching on current events and real life issues many families face daily in the real world.

I need and want (okay, I may be begging here) more info on Jared James, the mystery man, who has suddenly shown up as Dr. David’s landlord. Love the setup for him! And will he find love among our beloved residents on Gansett Island? I certainly hope so!

The big question is who will win the heart of our sweet lighthouse keeper Jenny Wilks now that she’s ready to find love again? There are some great prospects from which to choose. Among my favorites in the running are: Mason Johns, the fire chief, Slim Jackson, the Gansett Island pilot, Jared James, the new millionaire mystery man, either Alex or Paul Martinez, the brothers who operate the family landscaping business, Coast Guard Captain Linc Mercier, and then there’s Shannon O’Grady – but I think Victoria may keep him tied up! And, of course, this author is notorious for always having a surprise up her sleeve so expect the unexpected in the next book.

Marie Force has won my respect and admiration many times over by telling her stories straight from her heart in her own unique way with candid humor, emotion, and wit. She never fails to provide readers with fresh and up-to-date storylines featuring characters that come alive on each page. It’s no wonder they’re always begging for more – preferably sooner than later, please. One minute you’re laughing out loud and in the next tears are running down your cheeks resulting in a delightfully unforgettable story with each and every new release. “Time for Love” is another prime example of a wonderfully talented author at her very best.

Time for Love is another heartwarming tale and is the ninth book in amazing Gansett Island series. It features humour, drama, angst, secrets and desires that kept me interested and invested.

This could be read as a standalone but each book features another person on the island so I would read them all in order because if not you are missing out.

Make sure this one is on your TBR. I read it a few years ago and fell in love with the characters then and rereading now makes me realise why I loved this series so much.

I loved this series up until Book 9, Time for Love. If I had to review this book on the main romance of David and Daisy, I would have given it a one-star. It was only with the added characters that I gave it a two-star and that might have been a wee stretch.

The romance between David and Daisy was infantile and I did not care for it at all. Daisy acted like a thirteen-year-old and her apparent lack of knowledge made her appear beyond ignorant. Her weak character made the book dull and boring. And...what was all the innocent character that reeked from David?

David is the man who lied to Janie by not sharing his lymphoma diagnosis. He kept it a secret from her and she was his bride-to-be. He is the one who discouraged her from moving to Boston to be with him during his residency. This man convinced her NOT to go to vet school because it would take a long time to pay off their student loans, although Big Mac was more than willing to pay for her education. Brother!! Becoming a veterinarian was her lifelong dream, but he convinced her that giving it up was the right thing to do. Again, this is the same selfish man who turned to the chemo nurse instead of his fiancee to have comfort sex that sweet Janey walked in on. (Don't get me wrong, she belongs with Joe...no doubt about it.) This is the doctor who began a romantic relationship with Daisy almost immediately after he did a vaginal exam and performed a rape kit test on her...unconscionable. Something is very wrong and creepy about that. Unfortunately, this is the same man who delivered Janey's baby and saved her and her baby's life while he worried that he didn't tell Daisy goodbye before he rushed them to the hospital while both baby and mom were clinging to life.

My goodness, I don't think this could get any worse. After all that David has done and all of the heartache he has caused, I don't think he deserves a relationship yet. He has not done enough to be redeemable at this point. I don't feel he did everything he could have to seek Janey's forgiveness as well as her family's. I felt he was let off the hook too easily concerning his infidelity.

Do I really believe David can go from what all he did to Janey to become a trustworthy, faithful man? Nope...not really. I would fear that eventually he would revert, especially if his cancer comes back. Once a cheater and liar...The biggest concern I have about this man is that he never 'GOT IT' about his infidelity! He never understood that what he did was wrong! He kept saying ' Janey, you don't understand. It meant nothing....I just needed to take the edge off!' Yet he kept his diagnosis a secret for a month and had already begun chemo without sharing it with the woman he was to marry! 'Oh, I just couldn't find the time to tell you, Janey!' He just didn't get any of it. He did not recognize the wrong he had done and the damage and pain he caused her. It was completely absent in his mind. Because the nurse meant nothing and he needed the 'edge' taken off by sex, in his mind, made it all okay. How can you avoid the same mistakes if you never understood why what you did was so wrong to begin with.

I also wanted to touch on Janey's decision about vet school. I guess I am one of the few that feels she made the correct decision. There are no do overs in this life. Our children are only small for a few short years. If it had been me and I was certain I would get credit for the classes I had already taken, I would wait until my youngest was in school or at least preschool before returning to my classes. Even though this is her dream, when you have a living child in your womb, your focus can easily shift. Compared to your baby, other things don't seem to be as important as they once were. Maybe not for everyone but for some of us. And bless her that she has Joe who can stay home with the children.

I went through the first eight books in five days. Book nine took me three days.

Obviously, most people do not agree with me because of the high rating of this book and I find it very difficult that so many were pro David and Daisy.

3.5 stars. There was a nice amount of drama here from several different situations to keep the story flowing. Janey and Tiffany’s ex supplied the adrenaline to keep those pages turning. However….Don’t want to diminish my love for this series but as far as the rest of the story this one was just above okay for me. David/Daisy didn’t really do it for me. Seamus/Caroline, nah, not much into cougar town. Now Blaine/Tiffany are another story. RAWRRR…love that Blaine. Pure sex in a uniform. And my purest love is always for Mac (swoon). And MF tossed me a very small cheap thrill with only a tiny bit about my older man crush – Big Mac. I get it though…Gansett is the hookup island. Hot couples need only apply. It’s getting crowded and there’s just so much page time to give to my favorites while not diminishing the starring couple. Sigh….so, I’ll just have to be happy with what I get from my crushes.

David – ok, MF makes me feel like a scolded toddler for holding my 2 yr grudge against David the cheater. But I still reserve the right to be a tad p.o.’d. He still was a shit for doing to it to our girl Janey. No sympathy for his selfishness from me. After all is said and done though David/Janey were drifting into friend zone and Joe/Janey are a true love match, but still no rationalization. There is no excuse or justified cheating in my bk. I was somewhat appeased that David wore the blame hat for so long. GOOD! But I truly wish he and Daisy the best as they ride into the sunset. And extra kudos to the guy for making amends with Janey and saving the day. Again!

Is it just me or has Laura been preggers for-eva?!? Nice to see Laura’s dad possibly getting some in the future. Older couples need love too. But how about that lighthouse Jenny? Can’t wait to see who MF hooks her up with….Seamus’s cuz? That mysterious pilot, Slim, who we know virtually nothing about? The fire chief who sounds hot and I’d like to know more about?!?! (Again, it’s the uniform. Cant’ you just picture him shirtless/suspenders in those fireman pants! Calender HOT!). And my biggest wonder….is MF gonna redeem Tiffany’s ex, the biggest of jerks?!? Will certainly keep me looking forward to what’s up next.

This story had an exciting ending and revisiting relationships from previous books in the series was nice but most of it felt very chick-lit where problems are handily resolved, everyone loves everyone and everyone hates the bad guys. Dr. David, who had a bad breakup with the heroine in Fool for Love, is attracted to hotel maid manager Daisy who was recently a victim of a brutal beating and attempted rape.

Listened to on audio, narrated by Holly Fielding.

1 star for the audio. All of these are narrated by the same person and sometimes they are really good and sometimes they are really bad. Whilst I enjoy this narrators overall performance, because it suits the books, she does often say the wrong word or the wrong name and it's pretty obvious that it's wrong. This is forgiveable.

What is unforgiveable is that this has not been edited or produced in any way. There is no consistency. When there has obviously been a break in the reading, it starts again at a different volume and a different speed. Also, the back ground interference in this is really bad.

The book itself was really good! It was great to learn more about darstardly David. He wasn't such a bad guy in the end. People make mistakes and people cheat. That's life. You can have any excuse in the universe, but the fact remains that if you were happy, you wouldn't. I like the message that people are neither all good nor all bad. This is realistic.

Daisy is sweet and I loved the growth they made together. Poor Daisy had had a terrible time of it, but she was a strong person and didn't let life get her down.

There's tonnes of stuff going on in this. Most noteable for me was Blaine and Tiff. Their wedding was so lovely!

I can't wait for someone to take down Jim the jerk. I hope Marie Force doesn't redeem him. Surely that would be impossible?

David's redemption

Once again I found myself completely immersed and captivated in the lives of the residents of Gansett Island. Time for Love doesn't disappoint in the slightest and for 6 hours I have barely moved from the sofa.

Focussing on David and Daisy, whose prospective love story has been simmering away nicely, Marie has done a fabulous job of keeping the lives of all the islanders we love in the frame as well as introducing new characters (hopefully paving the way for many more trips to come). Being the 9th book in the series, there was always the risk of the books becoming too 'busy', but in focussing on a select few couples, with mentions of others, it is done in a perfect way.

David's time has been a long time coming and whilst he was the bad guy in the earlier books, he has chipped his way into my affections with each book. A sensitive subject has been handled with compassion and with emotion, humour, drama, plenty of sizzling moments and romance, I laughed, I felt their joy and pain and I made many of those sighs of appreciation we women are prone to when we are that little bit in love. Gansett truly is one my favourite places on earth and it goes without saying, this is a must read (and I am a little jealous of those who have yet to read it!)

WOW!!! What a F A B L U O S !! Book. Loved it. I really enjoyed seeing David do a 360 and learn from his mistakes.. he was kind and tender and a true gentleman with Daisey. After all she had been through she was strong and brave and resilient. It was nice nice to see David finally go on that Merry Go Round Ride and Grab his Gold Ring.

Blaine and Tiff... Wow. Did not see that one coming... Loved it!! Loved the Wedding... that man has it bad and it is nice to see he is still determined to not only make Tiff his but also Ashleigh. Actually cried when Tiffany asked Ned to give her away. Thought it was a fabulous touch and it warmed my heart. Jim the douchebag.. loved his expression not only after he realized that Tiffany and Blaine were married but that Truck had once again tried to attack Daisey. Yes what would his daughter think of having a man like that for a father.

Tommy walking in on Mac and Maddie... too funny. Laughed at that part and at all the responses their friends and family had.. hopefully he is at an age he will not be scared for life and another possible pregnancy for Maddie..

Jenny hmmmm why do I see her romance being with the guy whose garage David is living in... the minute he told the story to David and Daisey about being dumped.... I said Jenny. She'd be perfect.

Loved Joe and Caroline, his mom and his cousin...

David coming in and saving the day again and not only saving Jane's life but the baby's. I really think he has redeemed himself. He screwed up, he made a mistake, he has more than paid for it. He did good. I especially loved how when he realized how he left her he wanted to go back and explain... very well done Marie. When he realized she may have been hurt when he say the house.... heart wrenching. I really can see David and Janey moving on to friends and Joe letting go of his anger and jealousy.... And Daisey being a part of that friendship and a part of his life forever.

Loved it. Hope I am right about Jenny..... can not wait for book 10... Keep up the fabulous work Marie... keep on writing great stories but take a break tooo... really do not want you to stop due to burnout...

I took my time with this one so that may have colored my opinion - but I just can't get enough of Gansett Island. I loved the character of Dr. David in this one. He really is a good guy who made a colossal mistake for which he refuses to forgive himself, even though everyone else has. And Daisy is an enjoyable character but slightly unbelievable in her change from domestic abuse victim to confident woman. I rooted for her to the end, but the dramatic change from being white trash to potential doctor's wife is a bit of a stretch. Not that it can't happen and does, but it's not the norm. I would have expected Daisy to have a lot more of an entitlement attitude. But even that aside, you don't go from being an abused victim to a confident conquerer so quickly. Maybe that "a man will fix everything" attitude is still there for her because it's plausible that she would just transfer that from her poor choices in men to David.

Of course, this is fiction and who cares? I love Gansett Island and all it's crazy characters. The plot twists surrounding secondary characters was great for drama and required no suspending of disbelief. And that's important in a contemporary story. This isn't a soap opera with all the drama. This is believable characters dealing with everyday life, which is what makes it so appealing.

So sue me but I lost all respect for David with the way he checked out of his relationship with Janey. Yes, Marie has tried to redeem him with the way he's been there to jump into medical emergencies but I still can't get past what he did. I also found it quite creepy that he treated Daisy for a sexual assault and then weeks later he's dating her and trying to have sex with her. Just all kinds of weird for me. Things I loved about this book, seeing everyone from all the other books and the additional residents of Gansett. I would have really loved to see Daisy become a strong person on her own before falling into another relationship. She needs to know she can stand on her own two feet and not have to rely on a man. David will never be someone I truly like, I respect that he's a good doctor and give him credit for trying to make amends but to me he will always be the guy who didn't tell his fiancee about a life threatening illness and then cheated on her and thought it was okay to do so. I could have done without this book, to me it was one that didn't need to be written.

Just finished this absolutely AMAZING book by Fab Author Marie Force!!! “Time for Love,” is Marie’s 9th book in this great series. Wow she really outdid herself with this book. When you finish one of Marie’s books you think it cannot get any better – but wait, the next one comes on and she absolutely amazes us!! I could not put this book down, and I did not want it to end. I LOVED the way Marie always updates us throughout all of her book on all of our favorite couples in Gansett Island. I cannot even express how much I enjoyed this book. WOW IT TRULY WAS FREEKING AMAZING!! The mending of relationships between David and the rest of Gansett Island was so heartwarming and loving it had me in tears. I laughed, cried, sighed and hollered throughout this amazing book!!! I cannot wait until Marie’s 10th book in this series, "MEANT FOR LOVE" is published. This is one series I hope never ends!!!!

This was a great book as all of the Gansett Island books are. This was deals with the relationship between Dr David Lawrence (Janey's ex) and Daisy. They each come with their own baggage, but they try to find peace as they deal with their old relationship problems. It's really a good read and I know you will enjoy This was a great book as all of the Gansett Island books are. This mainly follows the romance of Dr David Lawrence (Janey's ex) and his new love interest Daisy. It also follows some of the regulars of Gansett Island and what's going on in their lives. I really enjoy hearing about everyone. The road for Daisy and David is a very rocky one, since they both come wit it.

It is rare that I remain interested in a series for more than a handful of books, but my enthusiasm for these characters after nine books has not diminished. As cliched as it sounds, the characters are like old friends and the island is a favorite destination for all Force fans.
Time for Love is another successful visit to the island, where we meet new characters while also catching up with favorites from earlier books. It is no wonder these books have landed the author on the NY Times and US Today best selling lists!
Another highly recommended read from Marie Force!

I have no clue why I even bothered to finish this book. This was the first book in this series that I read and the author was big on incorporating a lot of characters from previous books. Apart from that she was also linking back to events that happened before this book. This resulted in my being lost most of the time. A family tree or something like that would have been really helpful.

Furthermore there were some typos: 'have a ways to go'. Ways is plural and a is for one, so I don't think this is correct... I did like the characters. The romance felt like way too much drama and was not original, not even a bit. So overall I would definitely not recommend reading this book!

It was good to see David and Daisy find their happy. They both have had a rough go of it on this island for different reasons so it was Nic’s to see them start moving forward. I loved Tiffany and Blaines part of the story as well as Caroline and Shaemus. It was fun to see new names pop up and I am intrigued by am, pm and Mason! Janey had me worried and still does regarding Vetarinary school, but I love seeing this family and island! Neds reaction to the wedding was so sweet and Big Mac and Linda had me bawling at the hospital. Can’t wait to spend more time on Gansett Island.

I mostly enjoyed this one. I did come to care for David a lot and Daisy is an awesome h. At times towards the end, however, I began to have serious doubts about David being completely over Janey. I believe that he loves Daisy and will be faithful to her but I really believe that he still loves Janey and that's a hard pill to swallow when I so badly need him not to. It was hard reading the scenes between him and Janey even though he was acting in a professional capacity.

The series continues to read like a soap opera and flits from one couple to the next. And back again. This would not be a good series to pick up in the middle because you need to know everyone back stories for a good part of the book to make sense.

Marie Force has the best name because she is a FORCE. I have enjoyed every single book of The McCarthys of Gansett Island series and book #9 is NO exception.

Marie puts a little blurb in the beginning of this story stating that in the next to come we will not see as much of the other characters story in play but be focused more on the main story, either way it will be a good read.

Book #9 is focusing on David & Daisy. They are perfect together.

***Contains SPOILERS for Book #8 & 9***

In Waiting For Love (Book #8) we learned that after Daisy's boyfriend Truck beat her and tried to rape her Blaine (Chief of police) and Dr. Dave came to her rescue. Blaine was able to stop the rape by pulling the very HIGH Truck off of Daisy and arresting him. Daisy feels that if it was not for Blaine she would have been raped and killed that horrible night. Then there was Dr. David Lawrence, the island's #1 doctor. His job is 24/7 always on call. When Daisy was brought into the ER she immediately felt safe with David. He examined her and knew from meeting her before that she was one of the sweetest girls on the island. He liked her 2 years prior when he 1st arrived back on the island to take the position at the hospital. Dr. David was amazing with Daisy and after her release from the hospital went to visit with her everyday just to see her and check on her injuries. After Daisy recovered a bit she would bring David food at the hospital knowing her barely had time to eat most nights. Daisy and David found themselves in a beautiful friendship that was blossoming into something more for both of them.

In Time For Love, Marie brings Daisy and David's friendship to a higher level. Dr. David is nervous about spooking Daisy and knows he must take it slow. Daisy trusts David pretty quickly after her attack so she just needs to get past the physical fear that may still be with her. It's only been a couple of weeks since Truck's attack.

David asks Daisy out on her night off from the hotel but Daisy had told Maddie she would babysit for her and Mac. Daisy was brave enough to ask David if he wanted to stop by after his shift at the hospital to keep her company. Now the time has arrived for David to arrive and Daisy is very nervous. David arrives and they pick a movie to watch(If you know the movie you will laugh at the choice for many reasons). Once settled with some popcorn and drinks they try to watch the movie but find themselves laughing at the choice they have made. Daisy and David end up talking and being truthful about their feelings for one another then it turns a little physical. Daisy has a little freak out but is able to recover and then the night comes to an end for their date because Maddie and Mac come home from their night out.

Everyone tries to tell Daisy about David's past so that she is warned about what happened between David and Janey but David has already told her that he wants to talk to her and tell her himself. She tells everyone this and they let David speak to her about his past. Daisy is amazing for David because she is taking a chance with him. David is a great guy but everyone remembers the ONE and only time he did something bad and lost Janey his fiance and girl he had been with for 13 years. He was stressed out and they were in a long distance relationship and he cheated on her. David regrets it every single day. They both realize that the physical relationship was not working for the last 2 years of their relationship but they were long distance and thought it would work itself out. They thing David regrets most is losing and hurting his best friend.

Blaine informs Daisy and David that Truck may get released on bail due to lack of evidence. David keeps Daisy close to protect her since they all know that Truck will come after her again. David gets a job offer back in Boston, Daisy gets some good news from Maddie about housing on the island. Daisy is insecure in the relationship with David due to her apprehension with sex. She feels as though it is wrong of her to ask David to wait for her to be ready because who knows how long that will take. Of course you fall in love with David after finding out that he will wait until the end of time for Daisy.

What I love most about these 1 characters that Marie has created is that in this relationship they talk everything out. They do not assume anything or breakup for a reason unknown. They talk it out and come to an agreement, good or bad.

There is tons of other things happening to others on the island:
-Blaine & Tiffany are in a fight with Jim over custody because Jim does not want Tiffany to be happy and refuses to let Blaine move in with Tiffany.
-Kara & Dan are moving forward in their relationship after the boating accident.
-Seamus & Caroline have out-of-town visitors.
-Joe & Janey are preparing for the 1st child to come into the world.

In the end things work themselves out for everyone as it always does on Gansett Island but you will have to read to see where their relationship leads.

Didn't finish after chapter 2. Um, I feel like I walked into the middle of the story. Seriously I had to go back and check to make sure this wasn't the sequel to these love interest's story. Because in the first chapter, daisy basically gives us this summary of things that have happened in her life to get her to the point that she's at now with David. Which is at the beginning of their full on romance. They've met, they've grown close, and so already the first time the two are together they are going at it. It's jarring. Why didn't the author start us out with when daisy first meets David. That in itself would have been a great starting point to this story since the way they meet would have been dramatic. But instead the author skims right over that part. Weird.

This is definitely not my first McCarthy Rodeo but, it astounds me that this series gets more fantastic with each book. Ms. Force has a unique style, in that she gives the readers glimpses of past couples in each new book. I really love that aspect of this series. I feel like if the new books are about a new couple, as well as up to dates on past couples it keeps me more engaged. Because everyone on the island is so tied together we end up getting a lot of new favorite moments with all of the characters. I have to say though, that Time For Love has crept up above some of my old favorites. I didn't want to like David after his past transgressions but, Ms. Force makes it hard not to love this guy. They say every story has two sides. Well, this could not be more true for David. Yes, he did some terrible things but, he repented and learned from those mistakes. And truthfully, I think if Janey was able to forgive him, and find her own happiness, then we as readers can forgive him as well.

Daisy, on the other hand, had my attention from the get-go. Her past is even more devastating than I first expected. She and David both needed time to heal but, they found out they could heal faster together. I loved that David put Daisy first. He didn't push, when he made a mistake he fixed it ASAP, he really redeemed himself in my eyes. Daisy had a long journey herself. She had to learn to trust and open up and despite his failings she learned to do all of that with David. A lot of their problems stemmed from Daisy's gun-shy reaction to men, and David's refusal to forgive himself. All in due time, and with a little help from David's past, they pave their own way to happiness. I also find it so comforting, and heart-warming that the secondary stories in this series keep getting better with time. I loved laughing with Maddie and Mac, crying with Janey and Joe, and watching Tiffany and Blaine overcome their current obstacle. I am so invested in this series now that I feel like I know all of these characters, and immensely enjoy the check-ups and new journeys each couple endures.

It's not often that an author can make me do a 180 where a character is concerned but, Marie did just that with David. I can finally see him as a long standing citizen of Gansett and am so looking forward to reading snippets of him and Daisy in future books. Time For Love upheld the tradition of making me want to cry one minute and then sigh in relief or laugh the next. This series is easily in my Top 3 of favorite series, and just when you think it can't get any better... it does. Daisy and David deserved every bit of the happiness they found in one another and I'm biding my time until I can make time to read the next McCarthy's of Gansett Island book!

Happy Reading!

Another Amazing Marie Force book! I am so happy David got a story and that he gets to feel happy in his hometown again. What he did to Janey was awful, but he still is a good man. Both he and Janey found their true paths in life and might not have if he'd not cheated on her.

David is caring and compassionate. He is the perfect small town doctor. His heart of gold is seen by everyone he comes in contact with. Daisy is sweet and loving and has been through so much. The development of her and David in the previous book was touching! They both were lonely and needed a friend. From that friendship came so much more. I hope they pop up in the next book as well.

I do have to say, I LOVED the developments between Blaine and Tiffany! Blaine is perfect for her! I especially loved how special he made Ashleigh feel during such a special time! I hope we get some more of them in upcoming books as well.

Janey and Joe go through quite the ordeal in this book. I was on the edge of my seat, holding my breath. I am definitely looking forward to their part in the next book which hopefully involves some peace! Love, love, love that
David is the hero yet again for this family! It's quite touching experiencing his thoughts when he is busy working on Janey.

As always, CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE IN THIS SERIES!
