They gave her a week. She gave them her heart.

Rachel has dated since her divorce, but she’s bored with men who act too polite in bed. She’s dying for the kind of sex that can set her body aflame. Two gorgeous painters in her office fill her mind with fantasies she’d never act on. Or would she?

When the men proposition Rachel, she says yes…but only for a week. Ben and Alex heat up Rachel’s bed and show her how to take charge of her pleasure. Rachel develops feelings for the painters, and she thinks they feel the same. But when the week ends, can Rachel convince Alex and Ben to think of her as more than just a booty call?

Beneath the facade of straitlaced respectability Rachael is enjoying a journey of discovery. Since her divorce she's drawn up a sexual bucket list checking off her new experiences. While at work she meets two attractive men who inspire more than one fantasy. The painters Alex and Been share an attraction for Rachael propositioning her. Check another item of her list...threesome! What starts of as a fling, changes as feelings develop. The story is fast paced and steamy with some M/M action.
If the author chose to expand this story, I would read it. Though subtle, there are several themes that could be explored further making it a compelling read. The story finishes on a HFN ending, with the door left open for possibilities.

This is the 4th book I've read written by Robin Stone; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the chemistry between the characters.

ONE OF THE HOTEST BOOK IVE READ!!! A BRILLIANT READ
This is the first book ive read from Robin Stone and let me tell you I am now a big fan. Wowser this book is soooooooo HOT.
I loved the storyline of a woman who is recently divorced, looking for some fun. When two painters that are decorating in her workplace show some interest.
But will Rachel have the courage to go to the bar to meet them?? Of course she does. Its another thing to mark off her bucket list A threesome. ohlala yes please!!!!
Ben and Alex are instantly attracted to Rachel when they spot her work and take a leap of faith to invite her out for some fun no strings attached.

Copy received by author from Booksprout for an honest review. I throughly liked this book. It was hot and steamy and will melt your kindle. My only issues were that we didn’t get more of a background on the men. I wanted to know more about them. And I wish we could see more of them together. Do they get a HEA? Seemed like it was headed that way but I was left wondering.

I received a copy of this title to read and review for Wicked Reads

3 Stars.

My review will be blunt and to the point. My rating is based on what The Painters is, not what I wish it to be. When it comes to short novellas, you will often see in reviews how the reader wished the book was longer, more involved, a bigger plot, but that is not what was intended. When you read an erotic piece, you will see in reviews how the reader wished it wasn't a sex-fest, wasn't so redundant in the scenes, and had a plot.

The Painters features a repressed 40-something divorcee with an adult daughter in college as our sole narrator. Rachel's an assistant, with a professional demeanor. After marrying young, finding no satisfaction in her marriage, she's now checking items off her sexual bucket list. Her family and friends don't know what Rachel does in her spare time, thinking her quintessentially a middle-aged mother.

Ben and Alex are painters, working for a week in Rachel's office, and they see what's lying beneath the surface- a MILF. the 30-something and 20-something bisexual lovers are looking for a third in their relationship, someone as adventurous as they are.

The Painters is 80%+ sex-fest, strung together by less than 20% dialogue and storyline tying it together, which is exactly what is was meant to be. Obviously fast-paced, the story takes place over a week, with likable characters.

My rating is based on the fact that I found the sexy time to be wooden- bit of a Peg A fitting in Slot B situation, where the scenes are rapid, encompassing only a page or two without much detailing. I also had trouble- and this is on me -remembering which Alex and Ben were in regards to the 26 yo vs the 35 yo. Every time I thought I had a handle on who was what age, to fit their personality I'd attached to the age, I was wrong. So this created some confusion, as the scenes featured all three characters.

This was a steamy book, heavy on the flattery (how beautiful, gorgeous, tight & wet Rachel is). Perfect for women who see themselves in the narrator. After the devastation of a divorce, where your self-esteem and self-image plummets, the fantasy of not only one hot, younger male wanting you, but two is a needed injection of lust. Heavy on the eroticism, it is very light on emotion and actual romance.

Recommended to readers who are looking for an hour of escapism guaranteed to leave you hot and bothered, featuring menage- MMF.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review through Wicked Reads.

This may be a short story, but it is definitely a firecracker.
Rachel is divorced, single, and has no children living at home. Lonely, but it is a great opportunity to have a bit of fun.
Alex and Ben know what they like, and sexy redhead Rachel is definitely in their sights.
They have a naughty proposition for her, but when is fun, too much fun? And what if it can lead to more?
This was an entertaining and easy read for me. Sexy, humorous, and something a bit different, which is just what I was looking for.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is a very enjoyable short read, which should definitely raise your temperature, and speed up your heart rate. It is written over just a few weeks, but the pace is perfect.

There are some really lovely little scenes which show great humour, and some which are very sensitively written. But mostly it is just super hot and the thought that it has a future makes it even more pleasing. The men are very different but both hot and keen to share their pleasure with Rachel.

Sometimes a short story which gives just enough hope of more are all that you need!

The first sentence pulled me in and I was hooked until the last sentence. It was a fun, erotic, easy read. It was light on the drama, which is a welcoming change from some of my recent reads (don't get me wrong, I do enjoy drama but not all of the time). I look forward to reading more of robin's work.

This one was okay--the story just didn't grab me to the extent the other books I've read from Robin Stone did ( The Landscaper series, Toy With Me , and Delivery Man ). It wasn't bad, it was just in the okay-->good range rather than the good-->pretty great one. I'm having trouble putting my finger on the exact reason. I mean, one woman, two men--should be a slam dunk, right? ;) The steamy parts were all adequately steamy, so that definitely wasn't the issue. The book is from Rachel's POV rather than that of the painters (the others I've read from this author are all male POV) but I've read plenty of female POV/dual POV erotic romances so I don't that that's it. (Arguably, though, Ms. Stone does male POV really well.) Which leaves us with the story itself--it just didn't feel as engaging as Ms. Stone's other books did. Rachel didn't seem to have quite as much at stake as past narrators, I guess--I enjoyed their HEA/HFN ending, but it didn't seem like she really needed that outcome as much as past protagonists had.

But steamy, steamy sex scenes? Those all all over this book. ;)

Rating: 3 stars / B-

Not your usual Bucket List

The Painters is the first book that I have read by Robin Stone and I was not sure what the writing would be like. Additionally, I stepped out of my usual reading boundaries as I do read MFM but not usually MMF and/or Bisexual. But the story looked interesting so I thought I would pick this one up and see what it was like.
Rachael's story was interesting in that she is a woman trying to figure out who she really is and what she wants after a divorce. One of the things she has done is create a bucket list. But this is not just any normal bucket list as this one if about what she wants to do sexually. She is definitely a woman who knows what she wants and is more than willing to go after it and also ask for it. It was also really great to finally have a main female character and also the male characters not call her all sorts of names and put her down/shame her because of what she wants sexually.
Rachael meets Ben and Alex and she has one bucket list item that she wants to experience with them...........a threesome! Let's just say that things get really hot and steamy between these three and their multiple adult play times.
While I am still not a real fan of reading either male or female bisexual, just not my thing, I did not find it too overwhelming for me in this book. I will read more of Robin Stone in the future to see what she does with other story-lines.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Decided to give this new author a try. Rachel was a bit older than the usual female lead and she seemed a bit more assertive with what she wanted sexually.

I have to applaud this author for writing about a woman with strong sexual appetites who’s not afraid to ask for what she wants and doesn’t make her demean her physical desires by referring to herself in derogatory terms and calling herself names…like Sl ewe tea and other not so nice names authors have women call themselves for expressing their physical needs and desires.

Ben the younger of the two men and Alex who is about 10 years older than Ben are the ones that Rachel decided she wanted to make her threesome fantasy with. Things of course started out hot and steamy and continued pretty much along the same line.

Some back-story is given on the guys and we get a bit more info on Rachel’s past. Plus a bridging of their bedroom escapades with their real lives does flesh out the story more. There is also male on male action so if that makes you uncomfortable this may not be the book for you.

While all of the characters came across good for some reason I never really connected with any of them. For me there was an element missing that I was not able to get around to endear these characters to me.

This is a quick read that is hot and sexy. Rachel is a forty-something divorced mother and she is tired of the dating scene. She wants something different but she doesn't know what that is. She does know that she wants control over her pleasure in the bedroom.
She notices two men at work who are painting a few rooms and when they come by her desk to the water fountain, they seem to be looking at her and flirting a little. When they speak to her, she thinks they are just being polite. But on a Friday night they proposition her and Rachel wants to start right away. But Ben and Alex want her to be sure before she jumps in. Is being with two men at the same time on her bucket list? Can she give them one week without losing her heart?
I loved the interaction between Ben and Alex and that they both wanted Rachel. There was no jealousy between the two men when it came to her. The sex scenes were HOT and even the shower scene left a little for your imagination which made it even hotter.
I read the Landscaper series and I think this was hotter and sexier, if that is possible. It is well written and will keep you glued to you kindle until the end.

Wow I devoured this book. It is a steamy hot read. You will read it in one sitting and it will leave you breathless and wanting more. Rachel has been dating since her divorce but she wants more. So when she see Alex and Ben the painters at her work and the are interested she dives in. Rachel is only looking for short term or is she? After her first night with these two she is hooked and wants more. Do Alex and Ben feel the same? Or at the end of the week will they walk away. The chemistry between these three is off the charts, the scenes are steamy hot and it leaves you wanting a whole lot more. A must read.

Very torrid, steamy
The story is torrid from the beginning to the end, very well written. It is a pity not to have more development on the reaction of the entourage of the two men and the ex-husband of the heroine, or her daughter.
The story is a discovery for a new life of a woman in her forties, divorced, Rachel. She has a proposal made by two painters who work a few days in her enterprise : share a relationship with them together. They are bisexual and want to include her just for one night. Rachel after her past life, decides and tries the experience. Each day passed brings the two men closer to her despite her doubts.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. I loves it.

I loved the landscaper and didn't think anything would top that series because I fell I love and never wanted ro leave. But now I want the painters I want them in my bed now.

For a quick read the characters are well developed and the side characters don't feel forced or undeveloped their just their enough to make the story feel so real it's not funny.

Thank you Robin I can wait to read what you do next if this is what happened after the landscaper

It’s been four months since Rachel did the deed.

She’s more than a bit frustrated.
When she meets the younger painters, Alex and Ben when they paint the offices and conference room.

Rachel makes them a proposition and they agree to a week. Alex and Ben definitely hold the cards and power.

Will they bend when Rachel wants s more?

*NOTICE: ARC provided by the author. This is my voluntary, independent, and honest review.* Robin Stone writes menage romance novels with hunky blue-collar heroes, and nobody does it better. What sets her writing apart is the way she weaves revelations about her characters' backstories and emotions into the sex and the romance, making the characters real and letting the reader empathize with them. I expected no different from The Painters, and I'm sorry to say I feel a little let down. I got the sexy, the erotic, and the evolving love story. What I missed was the emotional glue that bound Alex and Ben, probably because the story is told only from Rachel's POV. I liked that Rachel was older (40's), divorced, knew what she wanted, and wasn't afraid to go for it. I liked that 20-something Ben was sweet, caring, and emotionally honest. I had trouble with Alex, whose rough-around-the-edges personality didn't seem to mesh as well with Rachel's quiet assertiveness. Overall, however, I liked this book, and will be looking forward to more and better from Ms. Stone.

This is one hot steamy sexy read with a good story line and two pantie melting Painters. It may have been a short read but it was so worth reading, Robin Stone certainly love`s her handyman stories and to be honest so do i. Rachel seems to have been in a rut since her divorce but Ben and Alex soon put pay to that the minute she`s beneath them. It looks like her life is about to change, if you enjoy an explicit and sex filled story then this book is for you. I was given this book to read for an honest and unbiased review.

** I volunteered to read an advance reader copy. **

I am giving this a 4.5 rating as I really liked it. Even days after having read it, I am unable to fully structure words into coherent sentences, that is how good this book is. Erotic? Oh yeah. Tantalizing? Most assuredly. Did I want to crawl inside the pages and join the action? Absolutely. What a wickedly fun and mature spin not only on the older woman, younger man relationship but toward a ménage as well.
