Meet The Beckett Boys. Each One Dirtier, Sexier, And Rougher Than The Next…
*A standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA*
JAMISON
I want to see how dirty she can be, how far I can push her limits.
I want to taste her, lick her, make her take me deep.
When I get rough with her, she doesn’t shy away. Her shudders of excitement tell me all I need to know. Claire likes a bit of pain. She wants it. Craves it. She just doesn’t know how to ask for it.
She has a wild side that is begging to be set free.
I can do that for her.
I want to do that for her.
Something about her beckons to a deep-down part of me. Is it her purity? Her integrity, her work ethic? The way she pretends I’m not from the slums, like I’m no different from her? I don’t know. But she intoxicates me.
At the same time, I know that this thing between us—whatever it is—is just physical. Women like her don’t belong with guys like me. We could never possibly work out—it would be a disaster.
I don’t deserve her. I will ruin her, the way I’ve ruined everything else in my life.
But she’s impossible to resist.
CLAIRE
How can he live like that, going through life fighting all the time? Doesn’t he want more? Doesn’t he want something better?
He’s not the good guy. Not the rogue with a golden heart I’d like to pretend he is. The world Jamison lives in is violent. Dangerous. And I can’t be in that place with him.
Doesn’t stop me from aching for him, though. Touching myself at night thinking about his mouth on me down there.
I’m throbbing with my desire. I need him to caress me, kiss me. All I can think about is what it’s like to stroke his muscled stomach, taste him. See him fully naked.
I love feeling his hardness when he’s pressed against me.
But none of those things can change what he is.
He hurts people.
I let myself see in him what I want to see. Despite knowing better, I let Jamison get under my skin.
I dropped my walls and made myself vulnerable to him.
But I’m that girl, the one who always does the smart thing.
And the smart thing would be walking away, before he pulls me in so deep I drown…
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
What a hot and sweet, dirty treat. Jamison is so freaking SEXY! And funny! And adorable in the HOTTEST way!!! Did I say HOT, yes. . . yes! Pure pleasure. Dirty. Decadent. Divine—this sums up the story. I loved the characters of Claire and Jamison. Together, their banter is refreshing, and their sex is off-the charts hot. This is a continuation of the Beckett Boys series. Jamison is a cousin to Smith, Jax and Asher, and the eldest of five brothers. There is a dispute over the ownership of the Outlaws bar that Jamison’s three cousins are running. Claire has red hair and she is smart, and she is an assistant at a booming law firm. Claire’s boss sends her to Outlaws after a ruckus occurred. When Jamison meets Claire while an EMT is attending to him, he almost loses his mind. Jamison finds himself quite attracted to Claire and the feeling is mutual with some sizzling chemistry. Claire knows that the Beckett brothers are always in trouble and hurts people, and she knows that Jamison is not her type of guy. Will Jamison pursue Claire? There are several twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. Can’t wait for the next Beckett book.
So...this Kindle edition, the Jamison story ends at 25%-location 2164 of 8942. The first three stories ended in there editions in the 40's%, so I was surprised with Jamison (although the length of the story felt about the same as Smith, Jax, & Asher). Jamison also has the same issues with editing as the 3 previous stories. I really did like this read. Jamison and "Red" seem as unlikely a pair as could ever be...but love doesn't work based on who we think we should be with. The heart wants what the heart wants;) This was a sweet, romantic, and HOT tale of falling, I enjoyed every word (except the ones that should have been corrected lol)
Jamison is the fourth book in The Beckett Boys series, but the start of the cousins stories. Things take more of a suspenseful direction than the previous books, which makes for an intriguing story. Jamison is a lot more intense, keeps to himself, and is always trying to rein in his brothers before they get themselves into trouble, even though they're now adults.
With some surprising twists, a lot of angst, intense situations, and steamy sexual encounters, this is a story that you won't want to miss. I would recommend this book, series, and author.
I had read about the other Beckett Boys and couldn't pass up the opportunity to read about the cousins. I loved the characters and thought Jamison would have slipped back into his old ways at least once shoestring to prove he had changed, but he didn't. Loved how Olivia wrapped up everything at the end and am looking forward to reading about the rest of the cousins. Great read!!
I’m enjoying the series about the Beckett boys I just wished that they were longer! I don’t like the whole sharing a book with a different author .... one author and story per book is how I prefer them!
Never would have suspected from the beginning to the end what takes place. Absolutely LOVED this book. Fantastic twists, turn-a-rounds and love. Recommend this series to anyone. Into the next book to see how things in this crazy-fighting family turns out
Darn it, I just knew I would be done after this book as soon as I knew why the cousins wanted the bar. But nooooo now the other brother is going to try to take it.. on to the next
Meh... this one really lost me at "spray it in me, Daddy" (seriously?! wth). I am on the fence about finishing this series, but I am leaning towards not.
Children's writing because it was a pretty good book. One of the things that I didn't like about this book was the way Jamison and his brothers were trying to take over Smith and his brothers bar. It was such an underhanded way. Jamison finally got his self together when he met the love of his life Claire. This was a pretty great read. There was also some hot romance going on. I recommend this book to romance readers.
Jamison and Claire are an excellent new addition to the Beckett series. Claire is trying her hardest to stay upbeat. She is finishing her law degree and hoping to take the bar and quite frankly get the heck out of dodge. She is tired of clerking/ secretarying/over everything for as glorified ambulance chaser. When she meets Jamison she is drawn to him but she is unsure that she could ever be with someone was rough as him. Jamison has a lot on his plate. Acting on behalf of his inprisioned father he is supposed to be going after his cousins and taking back Outlaws as it is rightfully their side of the families now. He is also the oldest brother and has been looking out for this siblings for as long as he can remember and he has to keep the family "buisness" running as well. Needless to say when he meets Claire he knows he has no business being around such a nice girl but he can't help himself. But when she learns how dangerous he and his life really are will Jamison be willing to change to keep Claire?
Okay so as hot as Jameson is I really really hated him through the first half of this book. I am in love with Jax, Asher and Smith, so Jameson and his brothers are not my favorite men. But everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second and sometimes third chance in life to improve them selves and be come the true man they really want to be! Jameson not only became the man he wanted to become, but he crawled out of the life he was born into. So when you start this story give Jameson a chance. On to Zacks story!!
Book 4 of The Beckett Boys...living by your own rules. A sexy alpha male meets a sexy, intelligent woman. This book was a romantic, sensual read. We see Jamison questioning everything he believes or what he thought he knew. Finding love, changing his life and choices. Consequences from choices made. Finding his soul mate and his HEA. I can not wait for the next Beckett Boys book to get answers from Jamison's choices and the reaction of his family.
I really enjoy the Beckett brother books. I had to say that first. I wasn't to sure about going into the cousins story, but it was worth it. I do highly recommend JAMISON. The DOWN SIDE is I paid good money for a book I was hoping to enjoy for more than 2-3 days of reading (it was only 24% of the book) I've found this happens a lot with Olivia Chase books (AND a lot of others). Just keep that in mind when buying.
I volunteered to review this ARC in order to provide an honest review. Claire and Jamison were sizzling hot together. It's definitely true that a man will change his ways when he meets the right woman. They both wanted more out of life and each other. The ending has me anxious to see what's happening next.
Good read, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Jamison growing up and becoming a good man, responsible acting like an adult. The book didn't address if she ended up passing the bar after all. It seemed assumed but I am very proud and happy for her. Zack looks to be a troublemaker. Can't wait for the next books. Good read.
This is the best so far of the Beckett Boys series, its a little more gritty than the rest and you get the feeling that Jamison is a bad boy. Its still a fairly generic story of bad boy turns good for the love of a good girl but has a little bit more interest weaved in than the other books look forward to the next Beckett boy.
I was glad to read book four. It was great to read that the bloke who is bad can turn good , and that can fall in love . Can't wait for the next book . Please continue to do great work .
Wow four books so far and each one was brilliant I love the whole story line's all of the characters are brilliant I love how they all go together so well worth reading great writer can't wait to carry on reading x
Jamison is a really good read . It shows people can change with the right motivation. This series is incredible. I recommend it to anyone who likes good ole boys !!
Jamison falls for a lovely red head and life changes. He's the oldest with a Dad in prison but this bad is about to turn over a new leaf because of his women.
Great story pity it only took a quarter of the book read on kindle unlimited if I had played for it wouldn't be happy already read the debt by Kelly favour
