Kat’s back and in over her head with crooks, cops... and killers.
Christmas is around the corner but professional “fixer” Katerina Mills isn't feeling the holiday spirit, juggling college classes, a lovesick cop, and demanding clients.
Obnoxious hedge fund manager Simon Marcus wants his prized Porsche back from his vengeful wife. The job is hard enough until wise guy Anthony DeSucci shows up and orders her to bring the car to him.
Rock star writer, Paul Patel needs something “special” to finish his next bestseller, something that will get Katerina a “Go Straight to Jail” card if she gets caught.
And what about mysterious Thomas Gallagher? His jobs are simple and easy. Is he just a bored billionaire, or is he watching Kat’s every move, making his own plans for her?
As the jobs heat up, handsome, elusive thief Alexander Winter re-enters Kat’s life to tutor her in all things criminal. But can she trust him?
Katerina Mills is still haunted by her first assignment...and her first assignment is about to come back to haunt her...a deadly enemy who's closer than she thinks...
Writer, reader, wanna be artist. Proud owner of a short attention span and overactive imagination.

Kat’s a Fixer. You have a people problem, just give her a call and she will get take care of it.
Illegally…maybe.
Then…why is she dating Detective Ryan Kelllan, whose search for answers in the murder of Felicia Reynolds touches awfully close to home and her secret.
The more work she does, the deeper she gets. She witnessed a murder. Her father is being hunted and they think she has answers.
Bad guys…good guys…they all want her.
Danger surrounds her…does anyone ever get out?
And then there’s Alexander Winter. I have a picture in my mind of this fascinating character and he is someone who intrigues me. He leaves me wiith more questions than answers.
The Fixer was thought provoking and I enjoy mulling over the questions left to answer after having read a novel.
Have you ever wondered how you got into a situation? And how far is too far.?
Pretending to be someone else can be a fun adventure, but what do you do when the bill comes due?
A little more sense of urgency and maybe some more details of the incidents and her feelings would bump up my rating, but one thing is for sure…I want more of her story which doesn’t end here.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of The Fixer by Jill Amy Rosenblatt.
Kat is still on probation with MJM and her jobs are getting more complex. She's obsessed with the OCD thief Alexander Winter whilst being forced to date the cop Ryan by her well-meaning but barking-up-the-wrong-tree friend Emma. Her lunch client Simon Marcus is a pig, her father is having a mid-life crisis, she's sourcing 'herbal' assistance for an author, and she's conflicted over her role in the murder of her first client's wife. Oh and now a DEA agent has her in his sights!
This is much darker than the introductory novella, Kat is starting to realise that each job, each contact, draws her deeper into a world of billionaires with no scruples, mobsters and drug dealers. There's violence and a pervading fear, then adrenalin-pumping action.
I'm loving this series, I think Kat is still incredibly naïve, she's trusting the wrong people and some of her mistakes come back to haunt her in this thrilling novel.
I'm already one-third of the way through the next one!
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.
Today is Good Friday. We may reflect on our lives this Holy Week and change the things we need to change. I think the essence of the Holy Week is forgiveness but it is easier said than done. I for one admits to that.
Yesterday, Holy Thursday, we went to visit seven churches--popularly known as "Visita Iglesia". It has been a custom and tradition for us to do that every Holy Week. We were supposed to walk from one church to the other as a form of penance and sacrifice in celebration of the Holy Week. For the last two years, we haven't done the walking part. We rode our mini-van. The reason for the change is because my mom who is already a senior citizen is not anymore able to walk very long distances and she has to be accommodated which is just convenient for the rest of us.
The book to be featured today may have little to do with the Holy Week. If we talk about changing for the better then this is right on the mark. The main character, Katerina Mills, is not exactly the model citizen. In fact, she is living a double life. One, being a student and the other is how she pays for her studies. Let's just say she run errands. Her clients are the rich and powerful and she gets paid in thousands in commission after completing a job.
Katerina Mills is in a way a female version of Jack Reacher only her assignments skate on the thin line between legal and the not. Oftentimes, they lean on the illegal. Like Jack Reacher, she makes the impossible doable. In this story, she got herself so deep into the thick of things that she may not be able to perform her assignments or even get out alive. Talk about interesting? Katie doesn't only have an interesting life but a very complicated and chaotic one. But only a few people know that. Her best friend doesn't even know. People who belong to different groups who are involved in shady dealings are her clients. Each of these group have interests in Katie's assignments which she had to meet. She felt like she is stretched to her limits and even if she doesn't want to admit, she needs help.
The Killing Kind is the second book in the series. Though, I have not read the first, this installment is coherent enough to understand what the story is about. Katerina Mills is one bad-ass and smart heroine. She may not exactly be a model citizen but she still has a conscience. In this story, the complexity of her assignments and the dilemma she is facing because of them has often made her think if she has to continue in this line of work or leave. But leaving is not easy. Either she disappears for good or the agency will do it for her if she can't finish the assignments as to the clients' requirements. This story revolved around Katie's difficulties in completing her work orders. The knowledge of some information that she should tell the authorities and the sense that things are getting out of her control and are way beyond her expertise are like signs telling her to pursue a different career.
Katerina Mills is a not exactly the usual heroine you root for but you will pray that she comes out of the web of deceit and danger alive. You will hope that she will get out and leave this high-stake and high-paying job for good. Her wit and her ability to charm people to help her out are her strengths. She may not be a heroine worthy of emulation but she is definitely one you can't put down. This book will take you from one dangerous and deadly assignment to the next, one overlapping the other. Katie has to juggle all these requirements and the needs of her clients while staying alive. Her adventures will leave you breathless as you run with her from one place to the next. Eluding people tailing her and trying to keep out of danger's reach. A lot of things are happening at once but it was not at all confusing or made the story hard to follow. Things got out of order here for Katie to iron out but in the end she was able to complete them and wrap them up like Christmas presents tied with red ribbons.
The ending was a clear indication that things are to be continued in the next book. I am looking forward to know what dangers are lurking in the alleys waiting for Katie. Now, I am curious as to what happened in the first book. I will have to read my copy to know.
I give this book 4/5 white Porsche cars. This is not-your-usual-damsel-in-distress story. Katerina Mills is one woman spelled with a lot of complications. A complicated life and a complicated job. Even her love life is complicated. And these complications made her story different. If you are into a fast-paced, thrilling and anything-can-happen-kind-of adventure, then this story is for you. I enjoyed this and I am wonderfully thankful that I did not get dizzy by all the tight situations Katie has gotten herself into. This was a very entertaining read.
"The gods? There are no gods in the heavens, Professor. They're living here. And they look down from the penthouse. And they move the people like pieces on the chessboard." - Jill Amy Rosenblatt, The Fixer: The Killing Kind -
Oh wow! The second book in the Katerina Mills series was amazing. I couldn’t put this book down and had to keep reading to find out what happens next. There were several sub plots and these threads were woven together masterfully to create a dynamic and action packed story. I like Katerina and her tension with Winter is hot! Katerinas philosophy class was subtly present through out the story which I don’t want to add more without spoiling the end part. But really well done when you reflect on the story and Katerina in reference to her very final exam. This is a brilliant series and I am very much looking forward to more in this series. Highly recommend for action packed, multiple plot twists and mob/crime/underworld story enthusiasts (with a twist of sexual tension and mice - not together)
I have to say I was intrigued from the first page. I do believe that I need to read book one before I read this one. Just because there were some things I wanted to understand better. The people she took jobs for just seem like douches. I am surprised she can hold her tongue with the way they talk to her. The plot moved at a steady pace. Characters were good they weren't all over the place which was nice but Katerina seems to be very complicated. The way the ending left off I am interested to see where it is going to go. How Katerina will handle things in the future.
The second book in a trilogy and I must say that I am absolutely hooked! As I am reading the books back to back, it is like one full sized novel that just keeps going rather than the novella's that they are. Great character development with a somewhat naïve female college student who is quickly becoming jaded with society as she tries to untangle the mess that has become her life when she fell into the career as a fixer for the wealthy, especially the criminal elements of the wealthy. This book did not disappoint as the action kept coming as she attempted to extricate herself from several sticky situations. I absolutely can't wait to get started on the next book of this series!

Read the Naked Man and loved it. When I was offered a complimentary copy of the killing kind I was all over it. Waited till the weekend and finished it in two days. One of the best stories I've read in awhile. Cant help but struggle beside Kat through the ethics of a hard life with no good choices. She is growing up so fast and while she is no longer as innocent or naive as she had been, she steals our hearts. But then so does Alex Winters. Wish I had him watching out for me. Can't wait for the next story!
4.5 Stars! This book picks up right where the novella left off and it is a roller coaster ride of any adventure. Katerina has more men and problems in her life than I have shoes! The quick paced subplots that all start to entwine as the story unfolds lead to an incredible experience for the reader. This author kept me at the edge of my seat and reading when I should have been doing something else . One of many things that I liked was to see the progress that the main character Katerina makes as the story progresses. As she has various jobs and experiences, she learns and applies what she has learned to the next situation. This growth adds a dimension to the character and was well written. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.
Book Review: The Fixer – The Killing Kind (A Katerina Mills Novel) by Jill Amy Rosenblatt
So this should have gone up some time ago, but it was unfortunately misplaced along with a few other reviews written around the same time. They were lost when an old hard drive was corrupted. I was recently able to recover them and so albeit a little late, I decided to upload them.
The Fixer: The Killing Kind is part of the Katerina Mills series written by Jill Amy Rosenblatt, it was the Silver Medal Winner for thriller fiction awarded by Global ebook Awards 2017. The series follows the titular Katerina ‘Kat’ Mills, who is a professional fixer, meaning she handles problems for the rich and privileged.
Much like with the previous novel, what stands out fairly quickly is the strong and distinct characterisation, firstly from Katerina who seems like a real person, she’s not just a collection of tropes common to lead female characters, she’s smart and driven, competent and funny, sometimes in control of the situation, sometimes not, but always a character of obvious depth and merit that is a positive delight to read. She’s not the only one however, each character is given the same treatment, they aren’t always positive, Simon Marcus for example, but they still manage to seem organic and real within the setting of the story.
The Killing Kind is both darker, and more complex than the previous entry, by this point we have the characters on the board, they are established, but this novel begins to build and develop them, and slowly and evenly build the narrative arc. Romance develops, Katerina has started to realise that exposing herself to these negative elements she’s been working for is perhaps not the best idea. But of course there are benefits to it as well. I like that idea as well, she understands what could happen, what the risks are but she’s young, clever enough to want to break the rules, or at least bend them and of course as I mentioned up top when you are making ends meet you don’t want to give it up.
I’ve mentioned before when reviewing that I am a particular fan of the thriller and crime fiction genre, this leads me to be possibly harder on those types of books because I’m more familiar with them and therefore more willing to be critical of them, but Jill manages to capture the style perfectly, carefully managing plot lines and pacing with ease, in fact she has a grasp of those concepts comparable to some mainstream big name writers.
Regarding pacing, it is fast paced, but it isn’t rushed, it just casts out this wide net, in terms of plot and easily captures the reader’s attention from the get go. This can be particularly hard for some writers to grasp, that something can be so engrossing that you can rattle through it, without it feeling like it’s racing through the plot. Jill again manages this quite well, it’s balanced in such a way that each point leads fluidly from one to the next, similar in broad strokes to Chris Carter’s Robert Hunter series.
I praised her descriptive prowess in the last review, and I’m pleased to say she has not lost her touch, it’s vivid without being too much, it’s clear and easy to picture but doesn’t pluck you out of the narrative, and it’s done in such a way that you don’t feel overwhelmed, it’s not a wall of text describing the colour of every drape, or the smell of each and everything the character encounters, it’s just enough world-building, and done well enough to create a scene. I think this is especially beneficial because we encounter a variety of characters, and the descriptions help to make each of them memorable.
Overall, this is a deeply engaging narrative, and a strong second outing for Katerina, the Fixer and I am certain that I will be reading the next installment soon. I think given everything I’ve said above and the improvements made since the first novel I will give this a 4/5. You can check out my interview with the author here, and if you want to grab a copy of the book then head on over to Amazon. I also reviewed the first installment in this series and you can check that out here, and if you like what I have to say about it you can purchase the book on Amazon. Lastly, since these reviews were published the third installment in The Fixer – Katerina Mills series has been released and you can also grab that on Amazon by clicking here.

This is book 2 in the Katerina Mills series. You'll want to read book 1, Fixer, Naked Man first. A wonderful continuation with all the characters back with a few twists and turns. I know that you shouldn't feel sorry for the criminal in books but in her mind, Katerina thinks she is righting wrongs. She's learning new things about the world of thieves and criminals while earning the money to stay in school and support her mother. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

📚📙 My Review 📙📚
The Fixer: The Killing Kind is book 2 in Jill Amy Rosenblatt’s The Fixer Series. It picks up exactly where book 1, The Fixer: The Naked Man, left off. Rosenblatt is a new author for me and i must say i am quite impressed . This Book had my attention from the first page. The plot of this thriller is fast paced and keeps your attention through the whole book. If you haven’t read the first book, The Naked Man first i recommend that you do. Even though The author does clue you in on some of the past events its not enough for you to really understand what is going on without reading the other book first. It is a Fantastic storyline with alot of suspense and twist. Theres blackmail, drugs, murders, disappearances, large amounts of money, and a dirty DEA agent. I must say Jill Rosenblatt is one talented writer. This book has a very large cast of characters which were very intriguing and unique. She gives you very clear descriptions of their personalities and appearance. She also gives you very vivid descriptions on all locations . That's a lot of describing to do and she did it in a way that I did not have any problems remembering who was who and how each place looked. Be prepared to sit up late to see what will happen next because when you start you will not stop turning the pages til you reach the end. I felt like I was with her every step of the way. Interested yet ? If not here is a bit more.
Katerina Mills makes me think of a female version of Jack Reacher . Kat, is not exactly the model citizen. She lives a double life. One, being a student and the other being a fixer. She is smart and in collage and in alot of debt. She is also a woman with a lot of complications. A complicated life, complicated love life , and a very complicated job. Putting herself through law school she is always Late with her work and term papers . Kat the fixer, works for MJM Consultants, an agency that caters to wealthy clients by doing things for them . However, there are many risks involved. The money received once a job is done, is staggering. But she needs the money to pay off her loans and provide for her mother. Hired by MJM to do jobs that most people would run from since they often require her to kill someone, steal, and put herself in alot of danger. When the phone rings she has to stop whatever she is doing, drop it all and handle the client and whatever the client wishes her to do. She always manages to get herself into things that has you on the edge of your seat wondering if she will get herself out alive. This book will take you from one crazy dangerous and deadly assignment to the next one. Kat has to do all these requirements plus try and stay alive. Her adventures will leave you holding your breath as you set on the edge of your seat.
While some assignments get wrapped up in the end, there’s still a lot going on and you’re in for a bit of a cliff hanger. There is just so many questions left unanswered so i am guessing there is going be another book. Well at least i hope there is. I am looking forward to the next book in this series . I highly recommend this book, you won't put it down.
👉The Fixer: The Killing Kind pushes Katerina Mills into even more dangerous territory, delivering a sequel that is bolder, darker, and far more emotionally charged than the first book. Jill Amy Rosenblatt wastes no time raising the stakes, placing Kat at the center of intertwining threats that test both her instincts and her limits. From the opening chapters, the story builds an atmosphere of escalating tension, making it clear that Kat’s life as a “fixer” is becoming increasingly impossible to manage. The holiday season may be approaching, but for Kat, chaos is the only thing on the calendar.
👉What makes this novel especially compelling is its layered portrayal of Kat. She is capable and sharp, yet she remains vulnerable in ways that feel genuine. Her desperation to balance college, clients who expect miracles, and the ever-present danger of her father’s past creates a portrait of a young woman trapped in a life she didn’t plan but can’t walk away from. Rosenblatt gives her room to be conflicted—to doubt, to misjudge, to push herself too far—which makes her evolution feel honest and grounded rather than forced or exaggerated.
👉The supporting characters are equally dynamic, adding complexity to every thread of the plot. Sinister new players like Uncle Sergei and the enigmatic Thomas Gallagher bring an unsettling unpredictability to Kat’s already unstable world. At the same time, Alexander Winter’s return adds a contrasting energy—steady, skillful, and quietly protective. The tension between Kat and Winter is written with subtlety, hinting at deeper emotions without overshadowing the central storyline. Each character serves a purpose, and the shifting alliances keep you guessing at who can be trusted, if anyone at all.
👉Rosenblatt’s pacing is one of the book’s greatest strengths. Multiple missions collide, and the complications stack quickly, but she never loses control of the narrative. Instead, she creates a tight, engaging rhythm that mirrors Kat’s frantic attempts to stay one step ahead of disaster.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, but of course my opinion is my own!
So, this is book #2 in the series of novels following Katerina Mills, a "fixer" for a shadier-than-a-dark-forest agency in New York. I absolutely adored the first book in the series, so I went in with some very high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed.
The writing style is still compelling, but unlike the first novel which kept a quick pace, this one I found dragged on a bit too long. Whereas Kat was a strong, sassy, realistic character in the first novel, she's devolved a bit into a damsel in distress with a million men chasing after her for some inexplicable reason in book two. That, I think, is my biggest qualm here: we went from a character who made her own way with her contacts assisting her in the first novel to a character making consistently bad, unrealistic choices for the sake of furthering a weak love triangle plotline, which I also didn't really buy. Whereas Kat understood the dangers more in the first novel - and made choices that reflected that - I'm not sure where her head is at here. I can suspend my disbelief for a whole lot of things, but I struggled pretty consistently throughout this novel.
I found some of the romance plots a little iffy, but that is more a reflection on my taste as a reader, not on the author or book series itself. I've never found it easy as a reader to suspend disbelief when it comes to a character who seems relatively normal yet somehow has three or more 1%ers chasing after her.
Overall, the book is good. It's worth a read, but it's definitely lacking compared to its predecessor. I plan to read book #3 which is currently out if only because I am still curious to see where the main plot moves from here, but I am truly hoping it's back to witty, strong Kat as opposed to the more silly, Mary Sue-esque Kat from The Killing Kind.
Being into character driven plots, boy did I get some interesting ones in this book. And the funny thing is, none of them are what you would classify as good guys. Well, maybe the cop is, but not the others, not even Katerina. Strong characterization by the author made them quite likeable.
Kat’s got her hands full trying to attend college and keep up with the demands of her assignments from MJM. Stubborn and independent, she has no choice but to seek assistance, and beggars can’t be choosers. Most of them aren’t what you would call good guys either. But they’ll do in a pinch if Kat wants to come out of this alive.
I haven’t read the first book, The Naked Man, and wish I had before starting this one. The author did clue me in on past events but I stumbled a bit and had to fill in some blanks myself.
One of those blanks was how Kat got into a job like a fixer. She’s just a young woman going to college and her assignments as a fixer usually fall on the other side of legal. And I’d like to know more about how she met Alex Winter. also known as Bob. a professional thief. They sure have chemistry when they’re together and I’m hoping the next book gives them a chance to explore that.
I still had quite the adventure and several nail biting moments of suspense. Rosenblatt is a new author for me and there are some writers who don’t blink about knocking off their characters. Hence the nail biting.
While some assignments get wrapped up in the end, there’s still a lot going on and you’re in for a bit of a cliff hanger. I didn’t mind as I plan to grab the first book and get caught up while waiting for the third one to come out. I’m glad for the chance to read this story but would recommend you read them in order.
I received a complimentary copy. My review is voluntarily given.
The Killing Kind written by Author Jill Rosenblatt is the second book in the Fixer series and continues where the novella, The Naked Man, left off. The main protagonist Katerina, is now in much deeper with the mysterious organisation who contract her as a Fixer for New York’s wealthy and privileged men. With no easy way out of her financial situation, Katerina must go to more challenging and more dangerous lengths to fulfil her assignments, stay out of prison and more importantly stay alive.
She is a quick thinking, adaptable, strong & feisty female lead that readers will enjoy, but in the second books we see an innocence and vulnerability that makes her an attractive target to men who want to use and possess her. Men with their own hidden agenda who take advantage of Katerina’s predicaments and abuse their position. Katerina must fight harder and accept help, in the form of Alex Winter, but can she trust him with her life and her heart?
The plot moves at a great pace, with engaging characters and credible dialogue that keeps the reader turning the pages as the excitement and tension builds. There are no significant editorial issues and nothing to detract from the sheer enjoyment of this book.
I really enjoyed the Killing Kind and I am truly invested in the character of Katerina Mills. I am therefore awarding a well deserved 5 stars!
The Killing Kind is the second installment in The Fixer – Katerina Mills series by Jill Amy Rosenblatt. When this popped up on as a recommended book, I was excited because it looked like it was going to be a great read. So, I let loose my one-click finger and snapped up the series, diving in the moment they hit my Kindle. While this gives off Scandal-esque (TV series ‘Scandal’) vibes, it wasn’t as good and didn’t manage to deliver the clever, sharp, and dynamic quality the TV series has. Which was disappointing for me. The plot was slow to get going and lagged in parts- and didn’t hold my attention the way I had expected it would. I found my mind wandering and had to force myself to focus on the story. I really wanted to be absorbed by the story- but I just couldn’t find my groove with any of the three books. The Series Contains: -The Naked Man (Book #1) -The Killing Kind (Book #2) -The Lost Romanov (Book #3) I really did want to LOVE this series and feel bad that I didn’t. But I do feel with a little more development and some reworking, this series could be brilliant…. Happy Reading…
The Fixer: The Killing Kind is the second book in "The Fixer - Katerina Mills" series. This is a fabulous installment in this series. Katerina's character is well developed and you feel for her at the same time as you question her morality. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages while you see what challenges Katerina has and whether she will make it out of them alive and with her freedom intact. This is a fascinating series and you cannot help but cheer for this unusual heroine.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book continues the story of Katerina and her role as a fixer for wealthy clients of the criminal kind. As she takes on more jobs she gets into deeper, darker and more dangerous situations.
This story is a full length novel and a great follow up to ‘The Fixer: The Naked Man’. I love the way the story is written and the short chapters make it really easy to read. It’s a book full of action that you don’t want to put down. I can’t wait for the third book in this trilogy to see if Katerina is able to get out of the sticky situations she finds herself in or if she is in too deep to be be able get out.
I received a complimentary copy of the book by the author for an honest opinion.
The Killing Kind is a great continuation to the series! The first book got me hooked, and the second one ramps up the suspense and the intensity of what happens to Katerina. It is great to see Katerina starting to come into her own, slowly but surely, and relying less on other people for safety and comfort. I loved Alexander Winter's character, and I wish there were more of people like him in the real world. The side characters are also lovable, even if they are criminals.
This book had great character development and plot. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series! I received this book for free, and I am voluntarily writing this review.
I found this book hard to read. Too many strings to follow I guess. Hard to keep track and sometimes I had to go back to other chapters to figure out which characters line we were on. Kat is the common thread so I read on thinking to would make sense in the end. But nope, lots of loose ends. I think I will pass on the next book in the series. Reading should be fun and this book was a lot of work.
Great book! It has been a while since I read the first book in the series but as soon as I started reading this it sucked me in. I absolutely love the main character she is intriguing, exciting, Daring, innocent and just perfectly imperfect. The little bit of romance fits the story perfectly. I was on the edge of my seat the entire book! The author does a fantastic job building the suspense. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series soon!
Grab the book, sit back and discover how Katrina can maneuver back and forth between student and fixer for white collar criminals. She struggles to balance the requirements of the job while staying as legit as possible. Finding herself facing life or death decisions Kat has to determine if there is anyone she can trust. The Fixer: The Killing Kind is a fun exciting read!
Still no conclusion to the murder in book 1, but this book has a LOT of action and stuff that will be resolved. A great plot, very good pace, easy to read with short chapters and the characters are great. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
Incredibly compelling, with a well-written storyline and great characters. The main character, Kat is on the job again. This is the second book in the series and I am looking forward to the next exciting adventure.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This one is definitely darker. Kat has many irons in the fire and more is going on behind the scenes. There are complex characters, loads of action and suspense. I really want to solve the mystery surrounding Alex. This one leaves the reader with a ton of questions. I can't wait to finish the next one.
Absolute thriller, with a side of romance, Katerina is playing the game, but more players are joining as she gets pulled deeper into a minefield, who to trust, who wants her, the plot thickens, fantastic read
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another fabulous Katerina book by Jill Amy Rosenblatt. High action as we follow Katerina through a series of fixes that just seem to get more complex by the minute.
Katerina is my new favourite heroine. She's strong, bold, courageous and yet we still see a human side of her. Can't wait to read more of her adventures! 5 stars 🌟
Very intriguing but too many substorylines for me.
May be my own lack of ability to keep each character and subplot line clear. However, it was very intriguing and unique. Well worth my time and ready to read the next noe.
I have never rooted for a pair of criminals as much as I have for Katarina and Winter. The author surely has suspense on lockdown. I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
