Abduction
Kaya is whisked away from everything she knows after alien soldiers abduct her. She’s thrown into a luxurious prison and has to fight to keep the line between reality and fantasy visible, especially when her traitorous body wants to give in.
Besh abducts the woman without a second thought, knowing her to be his mate. He drops her off at the nearest planet in the realm, trying to give her time to come to terms with her fate but is barred from seeing her due to their cultural rules.
Lord Fatel is charged with tutoring Kaya in the ways of their society, yet is drawn to her like a moth to a flame. He faces death if he touches her, yet thinks of nothing else.
Kaya is given one month to choose if she’ll stay in their world or break free. Only the men aren’t willing to let her go.

I have tried on numerous bio pages and what not and I hate making them. :)
So, let's just say I wear many hats. Mother, daughter, friend, writer, boss, employee, student, lover, and whatever else I may do within my day.
We all wear many hats within our lives, and most days we are stressed beyond words because of them.
So I write down my words and hope that someone out there is entertained by them and it helps them escape for a few minutes into another place where there are no hats.

So deserving of 5 stars. This story had some twists n turns, that really surprised me, its been a page turner, and very erotic.
kaya abducted from earth by a General Alien because he thinks she maybe his mate. It was lust at first smell for him as Kayas scent over powered him. This little earthling prooves to all she is made from very strong stuff, and rightly deserves her new role on this Alien planet.
Kaya needs a teacher Lord Fatel, to instruct her in the ways of this new world ....they are so attracted to each other, but Kaya is to be the Generals mate if she will have him. When she develops feeling for both who will she choose, she can only pick one.
Then there is a traitor in the camp to contend with and the new planet finds itself under attack, who will save the day, you will have to read to find out.

Found this to mediocre at best. There were some inconsistencies throughout the story.
Example: Besh gets near her the first time, and BAM. He knows she's his mate. But Fatal goes through the exact same thing, but doesn't realize she's His mate! And Fatal is a teacher, which means he should know what he's feeling for her!
Also the first half of the story, Kaya is only spending her time with Fatal.
I'm sorry, but I wouldn't read this again. Nor moving on to next in series.

Don't be fooled by the title; Abduction is not about some poor woman who is abducted and tortured before falling victim of Stockholm Syndrome. The story begins in a small town on Earth, in an area that is very warm; where an alien invasion force is patrolling for insurgents that would fight against the new ruling force of Earth. The platoon of alien soldiers stop inside a diner to find food and drink to help keep them hydrated. Here, Besh, the general in charge finds his mate, an Earth woman named Kaya.
Besh takes Kaya to another colony planet so that she can be educated on the ways of the empire Besh serves before deciding if she will mate with him or if she wishes to be returned to Earth and back to her life. Kaya's teacher is a man named Lord Fatel and it is his job to instruct her on the ritual Sini mon; a period of an Earth month where the would be mates are kept apart while the woman learns about the man and decides or not if she wants to mate with him or not. During her training, Kaya and Fatel have to fight to keep from giving into the emotional connection they share or one of them could die.
When Kaya's lessons are done for the day and she is asleep, she has a sexual relationship in her dreams with her mate, Besh and falls in love with him. Finally, on the day she is to meet Besh, Kaya is in for a huge surprise and agrees to mate with him. They break tradition and make love after she promises to stay with him forever and the next day, they participate in the mating ceremony before again, partaking in passionate sex. The day after they are mated, Besh is betrayed by one he considered a close friend and Kaya must race to save Besh and his entire family!
I gave Abduction 4 teacups because of all of the things happening in the story between Kaya and Besh, and Besh and his "friend." I enjoyed Abduction and I can't wait to read the sequel; I can't wait to find out what happens further with Besh and Kaya.
Abduction receives a heat rating score of a 2 from me; the sex was passionate and moving, but they weren't overly graphic, so if you aren't a fan of very graphic sex scenes, then Abduction is for you! Again, I can't wait for the second book in this series.

Overall: What a wonderful alien adventure, I couldn't get enough of this book. When things first started out I was a little confused as to what was going on and if Besh was actually going to be a good guy or a mean guy that you had to warm up to. But the second that Kaya woke it , it was like a dream fantasy come true. I was a little thrown off with the "tutor", especially since he was a man and some of the things Mr. Fatal and Kaya did were dirty and I would think it would be considered cheating, but i guess being a tutor has it's perks. I really loved the way the author described everything. The clothes, the jewels, scents, places, at times i really felt like i was right there with them. The ending drama was a little rushed and predictable, but the very very end part WAS GOOD and i can not wait for the next book.

Another abduction but this i could not finish. A pet peeve of mine is shouting heroines, keep those cap locked outburst away from me, it makes me wonder how old the heroine is when there´s these teenage shouts *sigh* Did not feel any chemistry between the two at their first meet and him abducting her just for some scent, did not compute. Maybe another time if i can get through her shouting.

I really enjoyed this story, much more than I thought I would. My only beef is with the way Kaya talks. Her syntax is confusing. At times, she sounds incredibly formal, like she was from another era, but then she mentions the Internet or something. It was very jolting for me and it bothered me to no end. With that said, I'm really hoping that there is a sequel in the future.

Great first book in a new series. I really enjoy hot, steamy Sci-Fi/Futuristic and look forward to the next issue

A good read but just not as engaging as some of this author's works I've read previously. A few interesting twist and turns and Besh and Lord Fatel are as sexy as you could want.
