داعش تختطف ناشطتين وصحفيًّا من إيطاليا كانوا قد دخلوا سوريا حاملين مساعدات إنسانية طبيّة. هرب الصحفيّ من بيت قائد الفصائل المسلحة في ريف حلب الشمالي حيث سُجنوا، واجتمع ب"فضيلة" عرّابة الفتاتين المقيمة في ميلانو والتي تعود إلى سوريا بعد غياب امتد لأكثر من ثلاثين عامًا للبحث عنهما.
يقوم الصحفي الإيطالي برواية طرف من الأحداث التي عاشها برفقة "فضيلة" في حلب وريفها وإدلب وريفها، ورواية أحداث عاشها بمفرده حين رافق والده التاجر في سبعينات القرن الماضي إلى حلب، وعشقه للمدينة المرتبط بذكرى فتاة صغيرة رآها هناك يوماً، وعاد ليتعرّف عليها مجدداً عبر الفيس بوك.
ISIS kidnaps two Italian activists and a journalist who have entered Syria with humanitarian medical aid. Held as hostages in the north of Aleppo, the journalist manages to escape from the house of the commander of armed factions. He meets the two women’s Godmother, Fadila, who lives in Milan and returns to Syria, after an absence of 30 years, looking for the two activist women.
The journalist narrates part of the story which he experiences with Fadila in Aleppo and its countryside and Idlib with its countryside. The other part of it is his retelling of the events he experiences alone and when he accompanied his father, the merchant, in the 70’s to Aleppo.
His memories of his love for Aleppo and his passion for a little girl he saw once upon a time there, drives him to find her again through social networks.

لعنة الكادميوم أنها حقا لعنة تصيب القارء الذي ينتصب متسمرا أمام هذه الرواية العظيمة بكل محتوياتها
رواية شيقة تحمل في طياتها احداث حقيقية وهذا لأني شاهد على الكثير من صورها الحقيقية المريرة
الكاتبة كانت على مقربة من الواقع بكثير من حكياتها ولاننسى قلمها الحر الصداح في تجريد الطغاة والقتلة والمتسترين بأسم الدين.
تحياتي إلى الكاتبةالحرة مع تمنياتي بالتوفيق بالاعمال القادمة
