Once upon a time, I designed a garden that would have fit among these pages. I grew an organic vegetable and herb garden with paths and flower borders and patterns in the lettuce bed. This book is amazing and humbling and a must for those who love a beautiful garden.

vivid photobook of dream gardens all over the world, of every stripe, from clipped boxwood hedges and topiary, to romantic cottage styles, to Renaissance Italian designs dotted with sculpture, to flowing watery terraces, to riotous tropical cultivations

This book is a compendium of amazing and beautiful places from all over the planet. The pictures are great. The accompanying text is less great -- it's tedious in an attempt to say something clever and useful rather than only showing pictures of your subject matter. But, still a worthwhile edition.
