I was intrigued and enamored by a few of his paintings and references in a couple of period and locale reads, so I have been truly rewarded with this selection, by Randall Griffin, of his biography and interpretation. An thorough and emotional critic. Well done.

A fan of Homer as of late, so it was good to check this work out. The plates and artwork are the big seller here. The writing helps with explanation and backstory, but you get this book for the pictures.
