What was supposed to be a typical annual Christmas party turned out to be a nightmare when Oden was shot. Everyone but the actual shooter is suspected, and when it comes to light, someone very close to Oden is to blame.
In Shorty Is In Love With a Real One II, Khyle, Tasmine, Bella, and timid Perry return with much more drama than before.
Khyle makes a huge mistake after letting her trust issues get in the way of her relationship, making her feel like she will never recover. Tasmine must figure out if Anton is worth all of the drama he continues to bring to himself and her, or if it's best she keeps it pushing. And Bella struggles to decide on whether she wants to risk her heart to be with Santino, or stick with a man she has never loved but feels obligated to be with. Oh and Perry? Let's just say she becomes very tired of being alone and in the background, prompting her to shake things up, no matter how harmful it may be to others.

Great book
I give it all five stars bc this book keeps you on your toes. I can’t wait to find out what’s going on with Perry. She is extremely weird and I don’t know her motive yet but I hope I find out in the next book.

Khyle and Oden!!
Oh how I missed my favorite couple. I even missed shady Shayne. I’m re-reading this series and it’s even better the second time around. Khyle and Oden are truly my favorite couple. I’m waiting on part 3 as if I hadn’t already read this series, lol. I’m so glad the author was able to get this series back up.

Khyle, man the only thing I can say is that everything that is happening is good for her. Moshe acts so childish and all and why would she listen to Bella. Man she should have just listen to her opinion and make her own decisions but... Oh well let's see if she will get out on time.

Tasmine, finally you stepped up and got your man but I surely hope you decide to support him though because now he gonna needs you more than before.

OMG
This book was so good. I hope Oden make it in time so nothing seriously happen to Khlye. I love how Khlye and Oden relationship going even though they had bumps in the road they always seem to make it back. Tasmine and Anton relationship is crazy I just hope it won't get ruined now because he have a baby but the good thing is that it happened before they got together. I love Bella and Santino together. I'm so glad Truman is suffering cause he is no good, they always say you don't realize what you had until it's gone and that's excalty what happened when Pilar left but he still in deep stuff cause he still have Chiina on the side. At this point I don't even know what to say about Shyane and her situations. Excited to read part 3 good read....

The Series Keeps Getting Better
Part two of "Shorty Is In Love With A Real One" came with a few twists and turns. I didn't think that I would ever come to like Shayne, or intensely dislike Perry, but a great writer can do those things! Oden and the crew are still kings of Vegas, and they all have come a long way, as far as their treatment of their significant others are concerned. A couple of clarifications and life changing surprises are revealed. And lastly, Oden told Khyle that he'd be home in ten minutes. Let's pray it's less!

Soooo good. I will say Truman irritated my soul in part 2 and I hope he gets his act right. I had a feeling one of them kids would be Tony’s so I’m curious to see how this will play out with Tasmine. I also want Perry’s weird butt to be exposed. I hope Bella and her boo work out but I have a feeling some drama will pop off. Curious to see how Khylie and Oden play out I’m part 3. Hope he comes in and saves the day. Also hope Raquel gets her butt best AGAIN!!!

Good read
Oden and Khlye can’t seem to catch a break in there relationship. She really should have told Oden the truth about the baby so they could have made that decision together. Even though one of the babies ended up being Anton’s I’m glad it wasn’t by one of those ratchet girls. Can’t wait to see what happens next

Getting Good
Well first off Perry has shocked the hell out of me. And she needs to be discovered soon before she cause serious damage. Glad Bella let Dean go. ❤️ her & Sanz. Glad Oden & Khyle working out. Poor Anton. Could escape them all. Hopefully Tasmine won’t leave him. Tru is just a piece of work. He better get it together. Now Huelo know he Messi g up big time.

Part 2 and I still can’t stand Shayne and her money hungry ways. I just love me some Santino and Bella. Also Anton and Tasmine are giving me relationship goals. I really hope Oden comes and handle Huelo!

I am loving this series
My heart broke in a million pieces when Oden learned about the baby. When he pulled the gun on his homey and just "stopped" and got up when Khyle said I knew he was ALL in. I just live them together.
Perry had to go, period! Weird and dangerous, smh.

Well, Shvonne Latrice, you've gone and done it again. Part 1 was a good read and part 2 is even better. The ups and downs of the couples make you feel emotions that run the gamut. Oden turns over a new leaf from the smack talking womanizer to a man Khyle can be proud of. Anton is on a quest to get answers to all his paternity questions. Santino and Bella .. well, there are trials in store for them. And Perry is still just Perry. And let's not forget the steamy sex scenes.
Don't let another day pass without catching up with the UNLV group and as always the cliffhanger of an ending will have you, like me, counting the days to see just what happens next.
