Great Finale

I was so happy with this book. It answered every question and made me laugh and cry. I felt like I got to know the characters intimately and it was just an awesome connection. Zu was a very troubled & sensitive man , a gangster with swag.....Sage touched Zu deep in his soul and I thought I could feel it. Great job.!!!!...loved it and highly recommend this book...

Well worth the wait

I couldn't put the book down. It was well worth the wait. It's not often that a series can be completed in two books.

Great Story

This had to be the best story I have read about true love. It was romantic and showed how two people can fall in love without all of the sex scenes...despite their obstacles, it was great to see them finally get together at the end...great job!

I cant even explain how awesome this story was. In most books iit's the woman who ffight for love, but Bri gives it to you from the man's pov. In part 2 the love and emotions came out swingin full fforce. These two are so in tuned with each other it gives you butterflies. It so amazing how you get to the see Zuv fighting for love for his woman and the depths that he goes through to win her heart. The love between Sage and Zu is undefined. While reading you just feel so connected with them and can visualized the heartbreak they both suffer. Then rejoice when its mended back together. It opens a whole different insight on love and relationships. With that said, If you're looking for a story that defines the true test of love and all the graciousness of true commitment then this is DEFINITELY the story for you.

I usually hate urban romances because all the books seem to focus on glorifying drug dealers. This book was the complete opposite it was the story of Zu and Sage. Sage in the first book works hard to get Zu because she feels there is a connection between the two but Zu is reluctant because he's lost so many people and he blames himself for those loses. Zu who used to be a drug dealer is now a mentor at a community center and lives his life in isolation. Sage comes in and disrupts his world of isolation. These two are wonderful together and when Sage suffers from a health crises their relationship is tested. I loved every minute of this book from Sage dealing with her health to Zu finding redemption from his past. I also loved the friends of Sage and Zu they were hilarious and ride or die for their friends. This was my first book by this author and this definitely won't be my last.

Book 2 Nonstop WTHs

Book two picked up with Sage and Zuvhir after the club and Zu putting it on Sage. After the hospital stay and at the end of their trip, I did not expect Zu's reaction to Sage's medical news. The way he shut her out and then just plied his way back, no I wasn't feeling that. But two wrongs don't make it right. Overall the story was gritty, urban, a nice storyline, and a good read. A rich black man, loving a black woman. I gave 4.5 stars for the excessive N word usage. Otherwise a good read

So Good

When I chose this story I didn't with the knowledge that it was going to be a part2.I was not disappointed with any part of this story. This was a story well written, with good chemistry between two main characters, they have a chemistry that's new and gives you hints of an old-fashioned romance.I love that they are surrounded by a supporting cast that you also want to invest your time in reading about. This was good solid writing and there are quite a few wonderful surprises along the way.

Wow!!! Loved it.

I started following this story as a short story in Bri's reading group. The story line was well developed. Zu and Sage were great. Part 1 was great and part 2 was even better. Loved how the author showed that all the things that Zuma went through and how he struggled with being in a relationship and how he overcame. Great story.

Excellent Book

Bri you wrote the hell out of this book. I love Zu and Sage and their friends. I was all in my feelings when Zu left Sage knowing she needed him. I am so happy this book ended on a good note. Now it's time for Rae and Seek and Hope and Freak to get their own story. Very Good Book.

NEM2

I really enjoyed this book. It is what relationships go through. Now at one point Sage did get on my nerves with all that crying but am glad to see everything play out for them. Now for the rest of the crew is it a spinoff in the works for them.
