When Jackson Sparks came back from deployment to find his wife had betrayed him with another man, he just walked away. No muss, no fuss. His only interest was in his two kids and the new business he and the guys from his squad were trying to get off the ground. Then she walked into his life. Tall, blonde and stacked, he wasn't interested. But Casey wasn't about to let this marine get away. She was tired of the rich boys in her circle, and one look at Jackson told her he was all man, not someone her daddy could buy off with his check book. Jackson didn't stand a chance...
The blurb was very misleading in my opinion. It made it sound like she chased him but in all actuality, they were a couple from the start of the story.
Classic Jordan Silver. ...breeding, 12 inch cocks, OTT bossy alpha.
Jackson was a former marine who came home from a deployment to find that is wife had been cheating on him. He divorced her but still was tied to her because of his two children. He started a business with a few of his fellow marines which is where he met Casey.
Casey is the daughter of the man who helped get Jackson's business of the ground. She knew there was an attraction and pursued him, having sex with him. He thought he could keep it causal but, it didn't take him being away long for them to miss each other, and soon Casey moved to Jackson's home town to be close to him. This all happened BEFORE the start of the story.
What most won't care for -
~OTT alpha - slept around a lot after his divorce but was only with the heroine after he met her ~doormat heroine ~no cheating ~no om drama ~ow drama in the form of a cheating ex wife who wanted the hero back ~no pushing away ~loads of steamy sex ~HFN ending with a short epilogue
I liked some parts and hate some too. At first, I didn't know if I can finish the book but then it got better.
The story is about Jackson and Casey.
It started with them already together. His wife cheated on him while he's deployed. He divorced her after but his hands were tied because of his children.
He loves her more than he loved her ex-wife but I want more from him. I want him to be a better man for her. She didn't even know where he lives. Poor Casey. And she's not a bipolar. It's normal to get hurt and get mad. I even want him to grovel.
Thankfully, the story got better. I liked Casey and also his two children, Jack Jr. And Mellie.
I'll try to keep this short. This was story about a guy with two kids who has been cheated on and had to do the right thing by protecting his kids and keeping his cheating ex-wife in his house while he carried on an affair with a girl 10 years younger than him. He made all the decisions in their relationship she was his dirty little secret. She is kept hidden for some stupid made up bullshit reason. I think I know enough about law and marriage regimes to know this just just BS.
Okay that aside, he was a really good dad, but he was a lousy hero for a book. His wife cheats on him but he gives her way more importance than the heroines by allowing her to stay in his home. I thought the whole point of divorce was that you no longer lived together!?
He even acknowledges his shit behaviour: "I feel bad about stringing Casey along but she said she understood. I don’t know how long that shit’s gonna last because that girl can be a bit volatile. If her ass ain’t bipolar I don’t know what is." And this awesome thought as well. "It's was a wonder she hadn’t accused me yet of only wanting her for a fuck buddy."
So even he realized he is an asshole to her here. I just wished she has told him off before 6 months. She really should have stood her ground here and told him that: "...until I am no longer your dirty secret, you can't come over and give me back my keys!" INSERT SPINE HERE PLEASE!
No matter, because he does love her but it's on his terms and that's what got me so angry! He made his life easy for himself and she was to stay in her house until he decides it's time for her to be officially with him. ASSHOLE! Sorry this was longer than I expected. I guess I just did not like this hero as much as others did. He was insulting and condescending to the heroine when she is a sweet woman. She is NOT BIPOLAR because she has a normal reaction to being marginalized in their relationship.
Okay done! I don't know why I gave it 3 stars when it's more 2 star but at least it got me out of my funk from the last sad book I read. Being mad is better than sad! And at the end I was left with feeling like...
Cause at the end I did not care either way. Honestly, it's not a bad book just not great and NOT A KEEPER! This one is completely safe
"The Forever Girl" is the story of Casey and Jackson.
I hate hurting her when we fuck but after all these months her tight little pussy is still no match for my twelve-inch monster. That doesn’t stop her from trying though. I had about eight inches in her, eight fat long inches that were already splitting her pussy in two.
Hehe. Another good ol' 12 incher this time around in the #JSCockverse
So we have the familiar Silver trope- divorced dad of two finds his wife hoeing, gets angry and divorces her while finding the magical puss puss of our heroine, who is determined and sassy. They have fuckathons in all positions, while resolving all their conflicts sexually, and find their HEA. On the other hand, the jealous ex tries to jeopardize their happiness in vain.
Honestly, the evil ex wife trope is getting a bit repetitive- and they're almost always shitty moms and the H gets full custody, because he is such a great dad. Hmm.
Anyways, the ex was super cray- drama ensues- bred HEA.
“Having our daughter seems to have made room in your tight ass pussy. Can you feel that?” I jabbed my cock into her hitting her cervix and pulling back. Uhhhh..wut?!
The blurb sets this up, but the book opens with Jackson already in a serious relationship with Casey. There’s the usual smut (I think he’s packing 12 inches), and a teeny bit of crazy OW drama provided by the ex. It’s short and fairly low on drama.
Bottom Line- Not the worst I’ve read of hers nor the best. I never find the smut hot, but this had a somewhat entertaining plot with the OTT shenanigans. I was coming off a heavy read, so it worked, but I’m ready to move on from the fluff.
Jackson Sparks came home from serving his country only to find his wife in bed with another man. No regrets for Jackson though as he acted swiftly and fought for custody of his kids. He didn't plan on attaching himself to another woman, but Casey is a breath of fresh air and juggling his duties as a father with his girl is becoming difficult. Still needing to deal with his ex, Jackson decides he has had enough and is ready to make the next step in his life with Casey.
Another great Jordan Silver read. This reminded me a bit of one of her other books. Liked the dynamic of this one and thought Casey was trying her best to give Jackson time. Look forward to more books like this.
I actually read this months ago and can't remember their names. It was boring and a waste of time.
Crazy vilified wife (ex-wife to be) Perfect very young new girlfriend. Cute kids Alpha male No story Lots of sex The story starts with them already in relationship.
Jackson's wife cheats on him while he was deployed overseas for the military. He comes home and finds out, divorces her, and gets custody of his two kids. He meets Casey and falls for her. They have issues with the ex-wife before they get their HEA.
The blurb basically told all, except there's no chasing from h; they were together from 1st ch. Typical JS H, but none virgin h here. The ex was typical ex, too.
Jackson was happily married to Christine, they had two children, Jackson Jr., 7 and Melissa, 5. He was in the Marines and while he was deployed overseas for two years his wife was cheating on him with a co-worker. Jackson had no intention of forgiving Christine so he immediately filed for divorce. He was pissed when the judge said Christine could stay in his house for 6 months until she could find her own place. He was at a business meeting out of town when he met Casey, she was the daughter of a business associate. He felt something as soon as she walked into the room but the last thing he needed was some spoiled rich girl. Casey actually turned out to be a sweet, loving, generous woman and she eventually moved to his town to be closer to him. Jackson was honest with Casey from the beginning and told her his children came first and that his ex would be in his home for 6 months. I really enjoyed this book and I absolutely loved Jackson, he was a great father and he was awesome with Casey.
I'm a big fan of Jordan Silver and loved this book! Like most of her books you get a lot of sexiness and a little sweetness. Loved the older alpha male and the richy girl setting.
Jack, a marine, comes home to find out his first wife was unfaithful so he procedes to divorce her. At the end of the divorce he meets Casey and due to the conditions of the divorce, they start seeing each other secretly. After a while Casey seeming starts to question if hes going to follow through being that by court order his wife still lives in the house with him and their 2 kids. While it surprised me that it took him so long to get rid of the ex, I kind of felt like Casey should automatically know whats going on when he didn't necessarily tell her. My big thing is the fact that he wasted no time in moving her in and later buying a new house once the ex wife goes. That's one of the reasons I love Jordan's stories is for the alpha male. In my opinion this is another Jordan Silver hit!

I have read every one of Jordan's books and I must say that this is one of my favorites. It has everything, Jackson the sexy alpha ex marine who was betrayed by his wife while he was serving his country. Casey the sassy, curvy rich girl who left everything behind for the love of a good man. When Jackson's ex tries to get into between these two it's the last straw. He knows that she is his forever and he won't let anything or anyone touch what is his. Can't wait to see what is next from Jordan!
This is a really good romance. The hero is a former marine whose wife cheated on him. His has been divorced a long time when the romance starts. The story starts in the middle of their relationship. The heroine is great, younger than him, and she is understanding of his need to make sure his kids are ready for him to move on before introducing her. There are hot, sexy scenes and lots of love. The ex-wife is the antagonist, who tries to make trouble. I like the discussions of the relationship's effects on the kids, but it isn't preachy. It is just fit into the story.
This story seems like the old Jordan Silver who I love. Her last couple of books, not so much. Hero is her usual OTT badass alpha, heroine is the usual young, bratty girl but with a heart of gold. It was a good book.
The book description is better than the book. No grammar was used in the few pages I read. Man was real asshole. 12 inch penis. Sure. Thank god I borrowed this garbage and didn't pay for it.
Few authors these days write the protaganist as a man to make a decision and stick with it The wife cheated while he was deployed the marine filed for a divorced when he found out . The judge gave her a break so.she could live in the house with her soon to be ex husband on a scheduled time line of which she would have to move out. She did not look for a place .to live , brought a man home and had.him on the couch where her son watched ,...she was not aware he had seen her actions . He told his dad and he had the Sheriffs remove her .There was no ...I don't know what to do,or Mayne I should give her a break or.any of the m any questions that seem to pop up with cheating stories ......the..she committed Adultry, ahe broke a vow and and worse .....The trust he had for his wife was gone . Read this one
Angst, family drama, a conniving ex and smoking hot sex scenes, what more do you need. Jackson is all alpha male whose ex-wife cheated while he was on deployment for the Marine Corps (can you say divorce, PRONTO), Casey is a daddy's girl that met Jackson after the divorce was finalized. Sparks, fireworks and lots of drama. Great characters, an engaging plot and good writing make this a fun book to read. Great story Jordan Silver!
Another delightful Silver read. It’s super quick only 62 pages! It was so fun. The characters are fun. The dynamics are fun! I wish we had seen Casey’s dad meet the kids but that’s my only read complaint.
Some edits for punctuation would’ve been great but it doesn’t ruin anything.
This is one of the good ones. I liked the characters. I.wasn't into the guy it honestly could have been any of her other male characters and it wouldn't have mattered. The girl and kids were cool and I liked hearing about the interactions.
This book started off smoking. It literally was all about their relationship and their personal relations with each other and then it started to build into the other characters in their life and their importance. But it’s some hot stuff
Single dad divorcee has to deal with his crazy ex while dating a younger trust fund baby n keeping two kids happy. I was hoping for a more mature FMC from the synopsis but she was a bit immature. Sweet story nonetheless.
