Αποτελεί ένα πολύ έξυπνο graphic novel για το τι εστί να είσαι γυναίκα. Μέσα από καθημερινά πράγματα που αντιμετωπίζουμε συνεχώς, διακωμοδεί την κοινωνία με αποτέλεσμα να έχεις στα χέρια σου ένα πολύ ξεκαρδιστικό ανάγνωσμα.
Αυτήν την στιγμή θέλω να διαβάσω και τα υπόλοιπα της Maitena!

it was ok, most of the comics were very stereotyped and not very relatable, but some of them were kinda funny.

Very funny in the adult (maturity- not racy) arena. What I can't imagine is how she's going to have enough material to make so many more of these!

On Sunday, January 15, 2006 I wrote about this book: (I had received this as a surprise from a book online friend)
Well this is the funniest rabck I have ever received.
And a total surprise. I love it! Thank you so much morsie.
Both women on the cover show typical Marlene moods.:-)
So yes very appropriate. :)
I could not resist reading the first one, even though I was enjoying the book I was reading but it is really laughing out loud material. Great drawings and you recognize so much in the comics of Maitena.
Rowena will enjoy them as well. Thank you. Hugs
Update: Well I read this book in 1 hour and had so much fun. Thank you Morsie. Daughter also liked them.(She was the first to read both!)

Conozco los chistes y el estilo de Maitena desde hace más de 20 años. Fue una precursora en su época, por animarse a exponer situaciones que en aquel entonces no se hablaban abiertamente.
He visto muchas opiniones aca en GoodReads sobre los estereotipos de mujer en sus historietas, pero creo que es importante considerar el año en que estos chistes fueron publicados. Era Argentina en los 90s/2000s y lo que hoy parece fuera de lugar, en aquel momento era revolucionario .Si, así estabamos :-\
Dicho esto, volví a Maitena desde otro lugar: ya no tanto por el chiste, sino para observar las expresiones de sus personajes. Me encanta en la forma en que transmite un amplio rango de emociones en los personajes!

Este primer tomo de Mujeres alteradas me encantó. Es una novela gráfica llena de humor, ironía y situaciones cotidianas que muestran, con mucha chispa, cómo somos las mujeres y los patrones de comportamiento que repetimos.
Me reí un montón, pero al mismo tiempo me vi reflejada en varias de las escenas. Creo que esa es la magia del libro: logra que te identifiques, que pienses “eso me pasó” o “así soy yo”, pero sin dejar de reírte de vos misma.
Las mujeres podemos ser complicadas, sí, pero este tomo demuestra que también compartimos experiencias, dudas, inseguridades y ocurrencias que nos conectan entre nosotras. Una lectura ligera, divertida y muy real.
⭐ Ideal para cuando necesitás reírte y reconocerte en las páginas de un libro.

It's weird because when I was a child I saw these books at the bookstore and was so excited to read. And now I finally have the age to understand and read it, and it sucks...
Maitena's comics are about stereotypes, and of course, even though she mentions sexists acts, the problematic is how the world perceives straight relationship.

This book is entertaining although I should say reading it almost two decades after it was published, it is now a little dated.
Mainly based on stereotypes it finds humor in all these situations women experience. Yes, I know that not all women live the same way but I could find at least a couple of relatable situations.

A data de publicação (2003) do livro que contém as histórias em quadrinhos limita no tempo muitas das tiras, mas não tira sua graça e a pertinência de outras. Seria interessante comparar com o que a artista anda fazendo, e "atualizar" o que pode ser atualizado. Embora os tempos atuais sejam tão bizarros que não tenho certeza de como isso pode ser feito.

Pequeñas acciones que muchas veces realizamos día a día, esta novela gráfica o historieta nos muestra que las mujeres estamos siempre bajo presiòn ya sea por nosotras mismas, hijos, parejas, padres, familiares, sociedad, etc

All women... unite! Young, old, skinny, overweight, Europeans, Indians, we are the same. If you were asked to make a list of what you'd do when you're depressed, it'd be most likely similar to what Maitena's. She also drew up cartoons for every topic she wrote. Hilarious book with great cartoon for all women who are not necessarily have to be on the edge to read this.

Este livro foi-me oferecido no Natal. Li-o numa tarde. É uma banda desenhada sobre vários temas que chateiam as mulheres. Uma leitura bastante cómica!
