Book 6 in The Bugging Out SeriesNew allies. Old enemies.Years after the world was ravaged by the apocalyptic blight, the survivors in Bandon find themselves confronted by doubts about those they've encountered near their town, and also about their own leadership.Thrust into the middle of the simmering conflict, Eric 'Fletch' Fletcher must work with suspicious settlers, all while he quietly deals with the grief surrounding his friend, Neil's, murder--and his desire to avenge that killing. But the man who'd perpetrated that chilling crime is long gone.Or is he?Finding vague clues that hint at the killer's presence in the area, Fletch must balance his search for vengeance with unexpected changes that have come into his life. Changes that remind him how much he has to live for, and how much he may very well lose.
Noah Mann lives in the West and has been involved in personal survival and disaster preparedness for more than two decades. He has extensive training in firearms, as well as urban and wilderness Search & Rescue operations, including tracking and the application of technology in victim searches.
This continues to be a good series with this book providing a lot of suspense and a resolution (of sorts). Elaine and Angela, both previously strong female characters, have kind of faded into the background a bit but have been replaced in the story...by the baby. The baby is nice but seems to account for a lot of the story.
Another great book in the series. I was worried that this would be the last book in the series, but it looks like there will be more to come! It is rare for any series to hold my attention after this many books...
More suspenseful than Ranger and a good pick up from where Ranger left off. Not going to say anymore about the book, but what i will say is I am really looking forward to the next installment "Hellfire". Noah keeps getting better and better with this storyline. There are a few twists and turns that i did not anticipate or see coming.
Great continuation of the story of these survivors, their struggles and progress. Fletch has clues his arch enemy Olin is outside Bandon, pursuing him and his friends. Well written, looking forward to the next book. Could not put it down.
Fletch continues his survivor saga. Great twists and character development. New allies, unknown foes come to light. Amazing end to this book lay the grounds to more. Can't wait to see where this series goes next.
I waited until I finished the series before writings review. I can't wait for the next book to come out. Great characters great story line very well written.
