I haven't completely finished this book because the English translation that I'm relying on is not yet complete. But because I have watched the Thai drama, I would say that I am about 3/4 of the way finished. I will end up reading the rest of the book if it does get updated, but I think I've read enough of the book to make a review.
I did like this book. I liked it slightly more than the TV show because the characters thoughts gave them more development, but I had the same problem with the book as I did with the drama which caused me to like it less. What happens in this story is that Fuse finds out that his girlfriend is cheating on him, and he goes out with friends and gets really drunk. His friend Tee takes him home to his house, and they end up having sex. They are now in that weird space of more than friends but less than lovers. What I struggle to like is the fact that Fuse still sees his girlfriend. He answers her calls and goes out with dates with her when he knows she's cheating, and even wishes that 'things would go back to normal' with his girlfriend. It makes me ship TeeXFuse more as the girlfriend is trash BUT at the same time it makes me not like them because it ends up feeling a bit like Fuse is using Tee. Plus in the book you see Tee's thoughts and he is heads over heels for Fuse and it makes me so angry at Fuse.
Other than their developing relationship though, there is nothing else in the plot or the side characters. In that aspect it is disappointing. It's basically a lot of scenes of Fuse's friends needing to copy homework really...
I would only recommend this book if you are a fan of the Thai drama. If your not then chances are that you wouldn't enjoy this book. I didn't particularly enjoy the drama but I wanted to see the thoughts behind the characters. I'm kind of glad that I read this book because I like Fuse slightly more because he isn't as duped by his girlfriend as he is in the drama, and I loved getting Tee's thoughts. But overall, I didn't super like this book which was a disappointment.
