I am still perplexed on what to think. On one hand it was an interesting story, on the other it was missing something. I never did really figure if I liked Josephine or not, I would try one more in the series to see if it was better.
I am rereading this series, since I had only initially read this one and want to read them all. I liked this better the second time around, a lot of the shifter information is explained in the first one so it falls into place the second time around.
sophie and artemais- are the main characters from the last book! this book is.....

This was a great book sexy men that can sing and play but that is now who they are... They have secrets... Josephine is on the run and what she doesn't know at first is that William is a cop so after spending several weeks with him she ends up leaving him as soon as she finds out he is a cop. What she doesn't know yet is that she is his mate and is pregnant with his children. Yes, children. Will she go back and let him help her? Or will she keep this secret from him? What will happen when she finds out he is not who he seems to be? Will she tell him everything and give into the love they have both found?
Like I said this is a great book. They is laughter, sadness, love, family and shock. But there is also sexy, hot men who will do anything to protect what is theirs. This story is full of humor and flows.
Read book one first to understand this story better and how these werewolves think. Liked William and his protective instincts. Josephine was a bit more difficult to like as she could have been more proactive in her fate. Hiding for months, then continuing to hide once realising she is pregnant was not very brave. Basically she hands everything over to William and his brothers to deal with. I did love the fun and healthy sex life these two had, even with being pregnant with twins. Very positive. The ending with Petrelli wound up very quickly. Have owned this book for many years but original review is missing. I pick this series up every now and then for a reread. Great to see this series in KU so I am reading it that way as there is a sixth book.
You do wonder about the outcome of the main plot though. I had to subtract a star for that, at least. Why have a plot and then just stop, when there is an epilogue.
