She'll be the greatest fight of his life…

Bradyn 'The Red Scot' MacTavish is the best heavyweight MMA fighter in the world, despite his humble beginnings as the fat kid growing up. A tragedy that befell his life changed him and made sure that he never felt helpless again. He spent years making a name for himself in the octagon as an alpha beast, but when it comes to the ladies he is a fumbling mess. Always feeling like the unpopular kid. The day that Payton Bailey walks into his gym changes everything.

When it comes to men, Payton is as clueless as she is with social cues. She prefers to stick with what she knows: Sci-Fi, comic books, video games and web design. After a heartbreaking incident her freshman year of college, she was never able to look at big muscular men the same way again. So imagine her surprise and absolute fright when she catches the eye of the massive, hulking MMA fighter, who she secretly nicknames The Red Giant.

The computer geek has done her best to avoid, ignore, and even maim Bradyn, but the stubborn Scot has no intentions of letting the skittish lass slip through his fingers. And with the help of her three friends, he just might win the fight of his life.
The Red Scot is the charming standalone novel and Book 1 of the Curvy Girls Club Series. A series about four inseparable best friends and their individual journeys to each find their Happily Ever After.

I was born and raised in Joliet, IL. I wrote my first story in the 3rd grade and fell in love with creating my own world. But throughout the years I have lacked the discipline to actually sit down and write. Even with a minor in Creative Writing (which should have been my major).
I have been a avid romance novel reader since Jr. High and have read hundreds. I have lived in Chicago, Japan, California and now reside in Arizona. And I wanted nothing more than to combine my love of romance, writing and traveling and put them in a book.
So one day out of the blue while in the middle of reading another book, the story that I had started months ago kept bombarding my every thought. Until I couldn't even continue to read the book I was in the middle of. I put down my Nook and picked up my laptop and about fifteen days later, I had finished my first draft of my manuscript. It was the most exhilarating moment of my life. To know that I finally did it. That I finally finished something that I had started. And now I'm and AUTHOR and PUBLISHER! I never would have thought that was possible three months ago. I just hope that everyone that picks up any of the books I write from here on out, enjoy them as much as I did writing them.

The Good:

Bradyn. Bradyn. Bradyn. My newest book boyfriend. THIS is how an alpha male is supposed to be written. An alpha doesn't need to be a dick just because he has one. It's perfectly fine to be shy and tongue tied around women, to not always have the perfect 'come on' lines or to behave as if the adoration of women is somehow his due. A real alpha is lover, protector AND respecter. I absolutely adored Bradyn (Scottish accent and the proper way to fold a true kilt - extra stars for that). Here's this big, bad MMA fighter - The Red Scot - completely flummoxed by women, despite them throwing themselves over him. Okay, the insta-love thing is not a favorite trope, but once he saw Payton, he was a total goner. And he was a total mess, which I thought was rather endearing. The picnic scene was positively swoonworthy. Once Payton agreed to be his, he was in full-on protection mode, all the while giving her the space and time she needed to trust him. Bradyn had his own cross to bear, having been subjected to horrific bullying that culminated in a terrible tragedy. However, he took that pain and channeled it into not just becoming the top MMA fighter, but creating a safe haven for young people and women to keep healthy and/or to learn to defend themselves.

Then there are the other women of The Curvy Girls Club: Mia, Royal and Kennedy. Seriously, one couldn't ask for better ride or die besties and it's nice to read about healthy and loving Black female friendships, especially when so few are depicted in the media. All I know is that Bradyn needed to come correct when it came to Payton or those three would shank him then hide the body. My favorite was definitely Mia. She owned her sexuality and I hope the author doesn't heroine hijack her by making her love 'em and leave 'em attitude a result of some horrible heartbreak or trauma. Male characters are allowed to sleep around just because they can. Female characters have to have some kind of "issue" or end up labeled sluts.

The Not So Good:

Payton. Payton. Payton. I liked Payton's awkward, lacking in certain social cues, shy nerdiness. Hey, she liked Star Wars and attending comic conventions. My kind of woman. Yes, I realize I'm being pretty hard-assed, but The Fountain Pen Diva has a hard and fast rule that cannot be broken: "thou shall love thy heroine as much as I love thy hero." I need to be invested in the heroine's happy ending. I need to care about her. And yes, she has to have agency. Payton seemed to be a case of things happening to her, rather than making things happen. If it wasn't through the loving machinations of her friends, and the dogged persistence of Bradyn, Payton would probably end up as a stereotypical cat lady.

I'm not really comfortable with the use of sexual assault as a raison d'etre for why she had such issues with a certain type of man. I struggled with the idea that all it took for her to deal with that kind of visceral emotional and physical trauma was "the love of a good man". And I really couldn't wrap my brain around how she seemed so clueless about her own body, again, until "the love of a good man". Sexual assault/rape isn't something that should be blithely used, especially in romance, unless it's dealt with in a manner that doesn't rely solely on the idea of being "saved" by a man. Unfortunately, New Adult is rife with this trope and in my view does a disservice to a very serious issue. Payton had twelve years of living with a very real fear, and never once did she seem to consider getting help. To be fair, survivors do handle trauma in different ways, so there is no one size fits all, but I think it would have sent a more positive message to read about Payton getting therapy, taking an active role in reclaiming her life. Something her three best friends kept urging her to do.

Then there's that other colorist trope that needs to die: that of the pretty yet dark-skinned heroine who doesn't think much of herself while surrounded by lighter and perkier best friends/relatives/etc. Dark skin doesn't automatically equal self-loathing or the need for trauma (see G L Tomas books for examples of self-assured dark-skinned heroines who have other issues not related to skin shade).

With all that said, I enjoyed The Red Scot and I'm definitely looking forward to reading about Mia, Royal and Kennedy. I'm giving this 3.5 stars.

What I enjoyed the most about The Red Scot is that Bradyn isn't the typical bad boy, overly dominant hero. Bradyn is a successful MMA fighter with all of the toughness and roughness that goes along with being a professional fighter. However, outside of the ring the insecurities that Bradyn struggled with in his past still has sway over how he interacts with women. Bradyn has figured out that he doesn't have to be smooth or even socially adept in order to attract women, he simply has to let the women come to him. The problem with that strategy is the type of women who are attracted to just the persona of The Red Scot aren't the type of women that Bradyn wants to have in his life permanently. But when Payton appears in his gym and isn't the type of woman who will boldly pursue him to save him the awkwardness of approaching her, he has to overcome his anxieties in order to get a chance at what he wants.

Payton isn't at all interested in large and aggressive men, she goes out of her way in order to avoid them. Having survived a traumatic event in college, Payton is not inclined to drool over a successful MMA fighter who makes his living pounding his opponents into the ground. With the help of her group of well meaning and quirky friends Patyon gets the gentle nudge that she needs in order to take a chance on Bradyn.

The story is well paced and although the romance moves pretty quickly it doesn't feel rushed. There is plenty of steaminess once Bradyn and Payton get past the fumbling around that is very nice! There is also a nicely done twist in the story that helped to wrap things up. This opening story does serve to set up the series with small peeks into the personalities and personal issues of each of Payton's group of friends. The glimpses into the lives of Payton's friends is done without taking the focus away from the main story. Turner gives just enough information about each of the other women to make me look forward to getting each of their stories down the line.

In The Red Scot Twyla Turner delivers another enjoyable, straight forward romance. If you enjoy a hero with a sweeter side but who is still tough, protective, and sexy I highly recommend picking up a copy of The Red Scot and getting to know this gentle giant.

I have to say, I grabbed this purely as I got dragged in by the cover!

I mean, really, look at it! Closer.....

annnnyyyyywwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.....

This book was adorably good!

A tough Scottish MMA fighter, champion in the ring, but a mute shy mess in front of a girl he likes, and a geeky shy heroine! How these two ever manged to work their way up to bumping uglies is a miracle in all honesty!

I loved when Brayden first spotted Payton and felt like he had been knocked to the ground (literally) then the description of him trying to get closer to her, working his way across the treadmills, then just not being able to speak to her....loved it.

Brayden is an awesome hero, I fell in love with him, and I really did like Payton too, but felt like she possibly could have moved on a touch or had some sort of therapy, at times she felt a bit young for her age.

But all in a hugely enjoyably adorable romance with a bit of drama thrown in. A great 4 stars. Not quite 5, as I say, Payton for me was a bit too scared traumatised, and the baddy, yeah, guessed who he was as soon as he made an appearance, but overall, a definite re read for me.

The gentle giant lives his coffee bean

It's love at first sight for Bradyn aka The Red Scott. The reigning heavyweight MMA champion When curvy painfully shy Payton walks into Bradyn's gym. However it was not love at first sight for Payton. In fact she was terrified of the red giant. And with good reason. Several years prior she was nearly raped by a student athlete who was pretty much the same size. She was not a fan as you would imagine of this Hulking pale skinned red headed MMA fighter. But Bradyn was able to wear her down and she learned to trust him and not fear him. Payton has a great support system. Payton's best friends. Three girls that she met the day that she was attacked and remained her best friends and support system. Those girls are great for her they are hilarious as well when you meet them you'll see what I'm talking about. I thoroughly enjoyed the story can't wait to find out what happens with the rest of the girls and I'm patiently waiting. I definitely recommend this book to you definitely five stars.

DNF at 61%This was a struggle. There are several different elements that I was totally into. I love that the heroine and her friends are WOC. It's BWWM plus BBW, I love the setup, and in theory, I love a painfully shy curvy heroine and a shy gamma type hero.

But I couldn't get into the story or the writing. All I kept thinking was this woman was traumatized 12 years ago, she needs therapy and she just isn't ready for love. Everything that happens is at the prodding of her friends and I am not buying into the love at all. The "twist" is telegraphing from miles away and the fact that I'm so far into the story and there's barely a speck of trust and or progress, I just have to give it up. It may work for others, but it's not working for me.

I did it for the cover! Okay, that's not true, I loved the blurb very much.
Hate to be the party pooper here, but it just wasn't for me, I guess. A one star rating looks so bad from the outside, especially, because it's not like I hated it, I just didn't like it.

Long descriptions, girl talks every other chapter and unnecessary information bore me and I kind of had to make myself finish it. Maybe that rush's why I couldn't get invested in the story, because the storyline was great and the characters were okay, though Payton got on my nerves every now and then.

Pick it up if you like sports romance and want to read about a shy alpha hero for a change.

I enjoyed this book a lot but there are writing errors and almost all the tropes of the book are heavy handed.

What saved it was fun dialogue, a great circle of friends, a wonderful sweet hero, and a geeky heroine.

Our hero and heroine are both shy which is fun. The hero is very self aware and kind. The heroine has PTSD from a past attempted rape.

The hero's lovely wooing of the heroine plus the fact that that he is a super hot Scot let me enjoy the book despite the telling passages, lack of complexity, and typos.

This was a very enjoyable story. I liked Payton and LOVED Bradyn (who has now made it to my book boyfriend list).

A big reason I love Bradyn is his answer when asked why he wants Payton over all the other women he cold easily have:

"Simple." Braydyn took a deep breath. "Those other lasses are vases and she's a flower pot."

"Dude, what the hell are you talking about? Vases and flower pots?" Mitch furrowed his brow in confusion.

"Vases are usually beautiful and purely decorative. They're sleek and sometimes expensive. But they are also the place flowers go te die. They can only bring life to the flower for so long before its empty shell eventually kills it. And if they're not used te temporarily hold flowers, then they're empty and meant for nothing more than te look pretty on someone's shelf or mantel." Bradyn leaned back in his chair, placed his hands on the back on his head and smiled, before continuing. "Now, a flower pot can be bonnie, painted, or even a little fancy. They can also be chipped and round and even plain. But they're filled with rich soil and if treated right, they are the places where flowers go te grow. Payton is a flower pot. Those other lasses are vases. I have no need for a vase."

So, on to the review...

Payton is a web designer that works for a tech company. She's very shy and tends to have panic attacks around men because of an attempted rape she went through while a freshman in college. Payton met her 3 young women on that fateful day in college and they became her BFF from then on.

Bradyn is a MMA fighter, the champion of the heavy weight division. He also owns a gym and has a rule that there's no bullying or making others feel uncomfortable. Bradyn is a big, mean-looking guy and he has his choice of women but he's really shy underneath. He's never been in a relationship because no woman has stood out as someone he wants and when he finally meets Payton, he doesn't know how to approach her.

Payton is getting ready to turn 30 and has never dated. Her friends all try to encourage her to give a guy a chance but Payton has freakouts at the thought of going out with a guy. Payton realizes that it's been 12 years since her almost rape and she needs to get herself a life and a date. She overhears some guys talking about women (rather despairingly) at work and after she gives them a piece of her mind, she wonders if maybe she should start working out. Payton goes to a gym with a friend from work and it ends up being Bradyn's gym. The first time Bradyn sees Payton, he's enamored with her and wants to approach her but doesn't know how. He makes some attempts but the one time he manages to get her attention, she sees him as a less than helpful time and he scares her more than anything else.

Thankfully, Payton gets her BFFs to go to the gym with her and they soon realize that Bradyn is trying to get some face-time with Payton. Once they figure he's a nice guy, the BFFs help him out with some suggestions on how to gain some time with Payton in a way that wouldn't freak her out. Payton tends to be a bit clumsy and after Bradyn shows extreme patience and understanding (and no anger) even when she makes his nose bleed, Payton begins to trust Bradyn. It takes a bit for Bradyn to get past Payton's defenses but once he does, things go pretty quickly. Things go well between them and outside of some drama with a stalker/weirdo there's not too much angst to deal with. By the end, Bradyn and Payton are happily together and heading towards a HEA.

This was a very enjoyable story. I liked Payton very much. She was shy but not annoyingly so. I will say that 12 years without a date (and still experiencing panic attacks) seemed a bit extreme but I was able to get past that. I liked her geekiness and it worked well for the most part but a few times, it seemed like the author added some extra "geeky bits" into the story that seemed a bit OTT at times. I don't know...maybe it was just seemed overboard to me because I work in IT and am a geek but I don't go that far...Still, I liked Payton overall. Bradyn was a big teddy bear of a guy and I loved him! He's big and tough and is Scottish (Yay!) but deep down he's a sweety that just wants to find the right girl and love and protect her (and teach awkward kids in his gym). I'd love to have a Bradyn of my own! Overall, this was a very good story and I'd recommend it. :)

5⭐️ I went back to my notes and highlights and became enamored of Payton and Bradyn all over again. This story is about the challenges facing two damaged people who found each other by pure serendipity and who are finally able to begin to heal. While reminiscing about this book, I am also inspired by the unwavering support of Payton’s loyal friends, Mia, Royal and Kennedy. These friends’ colorful personalities and sometimes over-the-top antics round out the book beautifully and give the book depth and so much rich character.

Hence, after carefully reassessing the impact of this book, I have no compunction whatsoever about changing my rating to a solid 5 .0⭐️.

*WARNING: This review contains an inordinate amount of the words cute, adorable, and sweet Continue at your own risk*

Where to begin...This story is just... SO. FREAKING. CUTE. I don't even know how to put it into words how much I enjoyed this book. I read the entire thing in one afternoon and I immediately wanted to re-read it because Payton and Bradyn were the sweetest couple that I've read about in a while.

To summarize Bradyn is a champion MMA fighter/Gym owner. Payton is a "plus size" girl geek who joins his gym after deciding to get healthier and you can figure out the rest. What I liked about this story was that there was a slower build-up to the H/h getting together. Although Bradyn immediately feels strongly for Payton after he first sees her, she is leery because of some latent fears she has of men...and bigger guys in particular. This combined with the fact that both of them are super shy leads to some absolutely ADORABLE interactions between the two of them. I found the fact that even though Bradyn was this big, hulking fighter, he was still very shy and nervous around a woman that he liked, to be so endearing. I also thought it was super refreshing, because it seems like every hero in romance lately has to be the ALPHAEST APLHA to walk the face of the planet...in order to be considered sexy. And maybe it's just me but I found Bradyn bashfulness to be so cute. I also enjoyed the fact that Payton was a proud "nerd". I always revel when I run across geeky black heroines in books because I don't find them often...especially in romance. I also feel like I should mention, that even though both the H/h were on the more timid side...the love scenes were just

description

The only issue that I had with this book (hence the 0.05 deduction) was the whole . I found it even weirder that the heroine initially thought it was Bradyn. This was a guy who had been nothing but sweet and kind and gentle, the entire time you've known him. I just felt like that was a peculiar conclusion to come to. Like it was obvious who should have been her first thought...but okay.

But other than that this book was so adorable...and I definitely recommend it!

MMA Fighter and a nerd computer geek

I love big girl love. I love sexy Scottsmen. I love multicultural romance. My drawback would be the lack of careful proofing. I found misspelled words, mixed grammer, and missing punctuation. There were even some flipping of word order. I was saddened by these things but not by the story. I loved Bradyn and Payton.

Payton was traumatized early on in the story and we get to see her shine on her own. We get to watch her grow and become so much more. I loved that. Bradyn became so much more than I would see a MMA fighter being. He was something more on his own. Working with Payton's friends and making things happen he grows also. I believe this was the first story that I have read that had both parties being shy and reserved.

I loved the characters. Mia was the stuff. I love the little side stores of her escapades. I loved them a lot. I look forward to her getting her own story sometime down the line. I think she should be the last one

2.5 rounded up.
I was teased in by the great cover & the tantalizing blurb, but I should have read a sample. Others may love, but it's just not my style.
The main characters were cute & I loved the awkward shy alpha twist, but it was just too kitschy for me. If you like lots of hair & makeup descriptions & OTT girl talk, this is may be for you. The sex scenes were a bit awkward(lots of weeping clefts, etc) & there was a smattering of editing issues, too, but I rounded up for some decent humor & a fair amount of heart.

This one was an okay read for me. It was sweet and had a few funny and heartfelt moments, but I wanted more intensity from these two. BRADYN was just a little too tame for me.. I would have loved to see more of him in his element as well. Him being an MMA fighter Champion and all. This probably would have helped to balance him out more for me as well.

After awhile the constant stammering when they both spoke to each other annoyed me too.. I get why it may have been present in the beginning, but both of them still doing it after becoming better acquainted really turned me off...

Also the fact that Payton was utterly clueless about certain intimate things, did not ring true for me. 1. She's 29. I get she's a Virgin, but she's also very close with 3 sexually active women, who talk about this stuff all the time in her presence. She could not have been tuning out those convos that dang much 🙄... And also she's not closed off from the world around her. So her cluelessness was just not authentic to me and was stretching it a bit far IMO.

Her reasons for being closed off from men however, totally get it. Authentic and heartbreaking.
I'm glad Bradyn was the worthy male of her choosing to get her through the growth spurt of finally being with a man, emotionally, mentally, and physically. I just wish there was a lot more heat where they were concerned.

So this was a solid 3 star read for me.

This was such an enjoyable read. The awkward chemistry and shyness between Payton and Bradyn was so sweet, kind, and pure that you couldn't help but being sucked in. Then when you stir in the cast of characters - Mia, Royal and Kennedy, this becomes such a page turner. I for one cannot wait for the rest of the curvy girls to have their own novel. And while I hardly wrote reviews (if any) in 2017, I felt I had to for The Red Scot. That's how marvelous of a job I thought Twyla Turner did. Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long for the books.

I loved reading this book! Without giving anything away. I just want to say . I loved how Bradyn continued to fight for Payton, and never gave up. Payton's diarrhea of the mouth.(Which made for great humor.)Her girl squad. (Also provided great humorous moments.) And lastly. Can I mention how HOTT the loving was!? Ms. Twyla did her thing.

I'm looking forward to reading Mia's, Kennedy, and Royal's adventurous. When they come out.

'The Red Scot' was an enjoyable read, and I really liked the H/h - Brayden and Payton; I have a thing for shy, bungling protags. Payton's girlfriends were supportive, cool, and funny. And Braden - The Red Scot - was sweet and hot. (Sweet and hot...now I want some spicy sweet and sour chicken. lol)
At around two-thirds of the story, when the heroine Payton was stalked, I easily figured out who it was. With that, there were also issues that were not fully explained. As well as a few editing issues -some of which tied in to the unexplained stuff.
Anyway...even with the insta-love, I liked the story overall.

This was terrible. All of the characters were one dimensional and irritating. This book was a huge let down mostly because I love the premise of a shy muscled giant but the execution was horrid.

Let me start with Bradyn. He is supposed to have fallen in to deep meaningful love with Payton on sight (🤮). He doesn’t know a single thing about her personality. She could have been a cute girl with a mean personality for all he knew.
Then he is supposedly shy but continuously does and says outrageous things to someone he knows (or at the very least strongly suspects has been abused in the past). Like grinding his apparently permanently (seriously he should see a doctor it’s been longer than 4 hours) stiff as a pipe groin into Payton on there first date under the guise of shielding her from others. You can wrap your arms around someone without dry humping them. He is not a gentleman like the author pretends he is (who cares who opens the door!).
Then there’s the picnic. Supposedly there is a picnic set up with a basket, plates, cups, etc. and the author does mention setting aside the plates but then Bradyn wraps the blanket around them... so apparently the cups of champagne just disappeared or they’d be covered in a spilled picnic. Also this girl is obviously terrified and he decides to grope her in public?!? There are lots of people who would not like being an exhibitionist no matter how comfortable with sex they are. Yet this asshole tries to finger her in public when he knows that she is already skittish.

Payton’s character isn’t much better. She is supposed to be afraid of all men yet she hasn’t sought out any help, like a psychiatrist, for 12 years. Then she decides she should just start dating when she doesn’t even want to be in the same room as a guy! She is supposed to be sweet yet is rude to Braydn when they first meet rather than shy. Then she rather randomly decides to just get over years of fear and panic attacks so that she can enthusiastically sleep with a guy that she has hung out with only a few times. A magic penis fixing all her deep psychological issues is infuriating.

Her friends are just as annoying. They are supposed to be protective and yet they push her to date a guy who clearly scares the shit out of her when she first meets him. The friends don’t do any checking in to see what Braydn is like but just assume a physically imposing guy who is violent for a living will be a good match just because he said that he has a crush.

Even if the plot was better the writing was atrocious the author either did not spend enough time editing or should have hired a better editor because this book could be used as an example of how not to write a good book. I am not great with grammar and even I know that there were far to many quotation marks. Topped off with straight up wrong words like how Payton nods her “ascent” instead of consent. Or just blocky language that sounds like it comes out as naturally sounding as Siri trying to sound like a real person.
Even the parts that could be technically correct were boring beyond belief. Like the endless descriptions of each girls exact waist size.
The girls physical descriptions were also written from the authors perspective where she touts that each of these ladies is bombshell gorgeous only to immediately follow that by a scene where they all whine about how ugly and unlovable they all are. It felt so disingenuous that I was kind of insulted.

Bradyn and Payton are w/o sweet

These two are just adorable together. They both were two people whose past lives have affected them negatively causing them both to be socially awkward with the opposite sex. But with each other, they find an easy fit with the other. Bradyn claims that Payton's awkwardness cancels out his and that she calms him. It helps that Payton has friends in Royal, Kennedy and Mia who support her and protect her especially after her assault in freshman year. I just love the closeness and ease of relating to each other. I like the easy way the author wrote their relationship. I was taken by surprise to find out the Payton's stalker was none other than the guy that assaulted her her freshman year. That really added an element of mystery and surprise to a sweet love story. The way the author wrote Bradyn's personality and his native conversations and accent was on point. I enjoyed reading this story.

I have never wanted to strangle a character so bad before. Payton was attacked her freshman year in college by a football player who she had been tutoring. Yes it was a horrible experience but she shut herself off from the rest of the world. She didn't date and barely talked to me. Brayden comes into her life and he is sooooo sweet!!! I loved him instantly. He was the perfect Hero. It took Payton a while to figure out that she was the one standing in her own way. It took a lot of convincing from her friends and Brayden being extra cautious but she finally got with the program. I think Brayden was the perfect match for Payton. Who knew that a hot MMA fighter would be scared to death of a curvy girl!!! It was a great book.

Unleash The Red Scot!

OMG! I have waited so long for another Twyla creation and this one did not disappoint. Bradyn is amazing in more ways than one. Payton and Bradyn are the cutest couple since forever. Who would pair a giant MMA fighter and an computer geek ? Well, the combination may seem odd at first, but once you read this story it seems normal. These two were meant to be. The way Bradyn adored Payton was incredible. I mean I don't know what man can hold his temper after the comedy of errors Payton put him through. The Gentle Giant proved to be just what she needed to round out her life. This book was so good I didn't want it to end. Another winner Miss Turner!!! Oh and her friends are amazing. I look forward to reading all of their stories. That Mia is off the charts.

Really Good

This was such an entertaining and delightful romance, everything about it just captured your attention.I love that we get two people that we can identify with and just adore them from the beginning. This was romance and comedy with a little suspense thrown in for good measure. The situations being discussed in this story are really serious and the writer does an excellent job of the subject. If you want romance and laughter this is definitely the story for you and don't forget to read the next installment.

I've had this on my to-read list for a while and Im so glad I finally read it! I looove this kind of romance and this one is simply amazing. The Curvy Girls Club is such a fun read and I enjoyed every single character. They all had a little something we can all relate to and the fact that they're all portrayed differently is great. The one thing about this I like the most is that both main characters are more on the shy side. Usually one is way more aggressive than the other, but this was a nice change. Payton and Bradyn together are so PERFECT! Would definitely recommend!

Shy CMs getting together

This story was so cute. Of course, cute happened after the almost tragedy in the prologue. I love that Payton is a sci-first, comic-con loving nerd and Braydn is a tongue-tied, shy, red-headed Scot. They are so cute together and I like how the story builds so that they get to know each other and overcome their awkwardness.

I can't wait to read who is next up in this series. Will it be Mia, Royal, or Kennedy?
