Triumphant over the evil Queen Mother's forces in the Juna stronghold, the newly-awakened King Elijashen learns that his beloved wife has been taken by the terrible Emperor Zhu. He and his daughter Isladora must try to free her from the man's evil clutches before it is too late. Meanwhile, the wyvern Json returns to his home, the kingdom of Draconia, only to find that a powerful red wyvern rules with an iron claw and dragon fire. Worse, it is clear to the young Deliverer that if the royal egg he bears, Ariah's egg, is discovered, it would put them in grave danger. Json and Ariah must battle for their survival in the high reaches of Draconia, while the True King and his daughter must battle against Zhu's forces. But unknown to either the Draconians or the Juna, another greater danger exists, one that will threaten both nations.
