Mason Miller is a lion in hiding. But what he hides from is nothing tangible. With no enemy to fight, he drowns out memories of the past using his sexual prowess to keep up his playboy reputation around Lake Haven Lodge. And when that no longer works, he throws himself into fighting other people’s battles. There is one last clanmate’s safety to secure. A Sorcera of Light who has captured his attention with her gentle grace and patient eyes. She’s the sunshine he thought he’d never feel again. But she’s threatening to pull back the shadows he’s wrapped himself in. The shadows that hide him from his past.

Adira The Lightest is losing herself. The light magic that makes her, her, is fading and soon she will become a Magei - one who wickedly wields dark magic. The autumnal equinox that marks the date of her transition is fast approaching. With no possibility of finding an Anchor to hold her to the light, and her heart lost to a mountain lion who doesn’t return her feelings, her situation is dire. The idea of being a danger to the clan of shifters who have become her family is unacceptable. Even if they’ve vowed to fight the darkness along with her. She can’t risk them, and she can’t risk the male she loves.

Mason must decide if the sunshine is worth facing his shadows. Adira must do whatever it takes to keep her people safe.

The Ouachita clan comes together to fight its final battle in the epic conclusion of the Ouachita Mountain Shifters series.

One of my favorite of the Ouachita Mountain Shifter books!

This book, in my opinion, is one of P. Jameson's finest. It goes from the sorrow of loss to the joy of finding someone who truly completes you and then starting your own family a new all over again. It recognizes and treasures friendships, both old and new. It's just an all around feel good book and I hope that you enjoy as much as I did!

Was very happy to read about the last witch and the last werecat getting together. I absolutely love this series and it will be interesting to see if more books come out in it. If more people join the clan. These books are very well written, great group of characters, keeps you wanting to keep reading to find out what happens next. Just started book 9 in the series.

What a perfect title, especially after all the heavy drama in the previous books in this series. Still has issues to deal with, but is way more smile worthy rather than finding the weepy eyes tissues. What a sweet way to wrap up the series. An ending, but also a hint of more to come. Loved It!!

Always a happy ending

The most difficult mating of all this series and quite possibly the sweetest. I love how there is so must history given and build up this author uses before the explosive "good stuff".

Just...Excellent

Sunshine Mated...I've been waiting for this book for a while now and it did not disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded. P Jameson has a way with words, and her books are always awesome. But this one...I almost have no words.

It was jam packed with emotion and I felt it all. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried while reading this book. And then a big, happy sigh when you reach the end, and that's the best. When you finish a book and you let out that sigh, releasing all the emotions the book brought up in you. Not all books can do that, but this one did. And then tears again because you remember the series is over.

This is an amazing, excellent book. The whole series was amazing and I feel with this last book, that I'm leaving my friends behind. It takes one hell of an author to bring those emotions out and keep them going through eight books. PJ....your books are amazing, as are you!

Couldn't get enough

Ok so ever since these three sisters came on scene I have been jonesing for each of their books. Each has a unique twist and this one comes from Mason. Here we have the story of Mason and Adira. Mason has a heartbreaking past that no one in the pack knows about. He is quick to give advice to others but also keeps his secrets close. This ultimately affects any relationship he could possibly have with Adira. Adira is searching for her anchor to the light. The last thing she ever wants to do is hurt Mason or the pack. She believes that Mason could be an anchor but she doesn't want to force him to be that for her. Choosing to leave or stay and fight the darkness is the hardest choice she has to make. Will Mason fight his demons in time to save what is his? Will Adira fight harder for what she wants and loves. Great Read as always and hope to see more of this crew.

Like the previous 7 books before this and the spin off books associated too with the characters in this series; I loved it! I loved the inner battle our hero and heroine struggled with as to if each was in fact the other's true savior for the battle they each fight. I loved that we finally get the back story on or broken hero to understand why he was so badly broken & its a tear jerker IMO! There's one moment near the end that your holding your breath because it looked as if our hero was going to loose his witchy true mate because he and the rest of the clan made it just when things looked like the fates had done what the priest/monk/mentor for our witchy girls had spelled to do.....But, I'll just leave it there lol; I Hate when people give the ending away! Is it a HEA? That's for you to find out along with the shocking twist that, if you've read the previous books as well as The Dirt Track Dog's series; you MIGHT have seen what comes to be at the end; happening! *grin*

I'm sad this series is over

I'm sad this series is over but P Jameson gave us one heck of an ending. It started out so sad and definitely had me tearing up. I've always wanted to know Mason's background and in this book we finally get to find out what exactly made him the way he is or was.
I was excited to see what she was going to do about the last Sorcera sister and the approaching darkness and I was definitely taken by surprise by the way that went and the close calls in that direction.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book but I am a little sad that this was the end of such a beloved series. I'm looking forward to seeing more vixens and seeing what else the author comes up with. Whatever it is I bet it's going to be amazing!!

*sniffs* This was such a great ending to the series. I'm sad to see it go but its time and she's got other cool things coming soon!

She made me freaking cry before Chapter 1. The prologue killed me. So heartbreaking...poor Mason. I I knew his story was gonna be special. I wanted to beat him though for doing what he did to Adira/Sunshine. He was so hot and cold with her and rejected her over and over. He knew she was special and his but he just was so stubborn...love Destiny. This was a great story and I wont wanna spoil it more than I have probably. Read it and you will weep and laugh and feel all giddy inside too!

I wish I could have rated this higher. Mason and Adira's story is one of the best in the entire series. It really was that good. From the first page it grabs your heart and just keeps squeezing. I wept during the prologue. In this story we finally really understand sexy Woman Magnet Mason. Just wow!!! Adira is fighting the darkness while realizing that her and Mason can never be. He does not want her that way.

I loved the whole plot and I love that we witness all of the lives of the previous couples.

Cupid finally gets his story!!
Mason did a lot for his clan without expecting anything in return. He certainly didnt expect Adira to be his. Adira doesn't want to hurt Mason, not anymore than he is already hurting. She thinks Mason could be her anchor but she needs to decide to leave or stay and fight the darkness that wants her. Mason figures out Adira needs him so he is ready to fight his demons, but will it be in time to save her.

Sunshine Mated hit all the feelings! As the last book in the series it was the perfect ending to the Ouachita clan.

Awesome end to a wonderful series. and rightly so that it ended with Mason. I gotta admit, I was totally gutted reading the prologue so be warned. You will love Mason after reading that intense prologue. You will understand why he is the way he is. Anyway, I teared up reading this one. Mason and Adira finally find their HEA .. and there is an epilogue .. loved it. It has been a joy seeing the clan grow. I enjoyed reading every single one of these books.
