Aveena: The Path to Freedom

Rate this book
Aveena thought that she lost everything once. The night that her father was murdered, her life changed for the worst. Her brother had turned against her, and the throne that was destined to be her’s was taken. She was made a prisoner in her own Kingdom, and by none other than her uncle himself.

The first time that Aveena escaped the Kingdom she met a boy in the earth dimension, a human boy, named Michael, but because of unexpected occurrences, she had been sent back home to Raluza. She never would’ve thought that years later Michael would run into her life in the form form of a Rebel, and she never would have thought that she’d have the strength to join him.

Aveena was initiated into a group of skilled fighters called The Organization, and even though she’s never seen battle before, she had the power of the Raluzan God inside of her to contribute to their cause. She wasn’t able to control that power yet, but as she grew, fought, loved, and hated, she learned how to control them…

King Lavier killed Aveena’s father and enslaved her people five years ago, and now-five years later- she’s going to help save them. As princess of Raluza, chosen by the Raluzan god, she is determined to take the throne, but first she must free her people. She must earn her title as Queen.

As Queen Aveena.

Loved this!!

What a fantastic ending to this story. A evil ruler, a princess with powers, and a regular person, it's time to put the crown on the correct head. I love how the grandfather spins this tale. He keeps you and his grandchildren craving more. All of the who, what's, and whys come into light at the end, but the ride there is so worth it!!

Grandpa resumes telling the story of Raluza, Aveena and Michael to the twins, Vincent and Ayva. Aveena has joined Michael, Tayen and the organization to win back the kingdom from tyrannical King Lavier; they are determined to end Lavier's reign!
Spellbinding, daring romantic fantasy at its best! Innocence, greed, honor, hate, love, grief are all written in imaginative and creative fashion! Good banter between diverse characters. The characters come to life, like a classic fairytale! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed reading this well - written story, the scenes are very descriptive and played nicely in my head. I look forward to one-clicking Ms. Hawkins' next novel.
