Being only two issues long, this story felt a bit rushed but was overall pretty good. In this final issue, Savage and The Shadow finally meet and team up, punching and shooting their way through Nazis and monster men.

After a battle with Nazis an airship falls burning out of the air and thus delivers another explanation how the Hindenburg crashed in New York, simple the Nazis and the Shadow.
In this installment Doc Savage and the Shadow finally meet and greet and both get face to face with an surviving set of Nazis, get caught because the whole story was about some sort of superserum which made men into super-soldiers. (before it changed them into living corpses).
The Nazis clever take the whole party prisoner and back to Germany with the exception of Doc Savage & the Shadow who they want to kill because they are so dangerous. They should have done so immediately because of course they escape and they care of business.
A decent enough tale with the Shadow over two installments that has its little surprises in the tail of the story. Certainly a must have red for fans of Doc Savage & the Shadow. Dark Horse delivered a very decent new episode to the Shadow lore & of course Doc Savage.

Esta reseña comprende ambos fascículos de esta historia.
Esta historia en dos fascículos me emocionó mucho más que otras lo han hecho en más espacio. Es otro crossover donde los titulares se enfrentan (muy brevemente) y luego se ponen a enfrentar al villano principal, los Nazis. Pero la ejecución de este trabajo fue lo que más me llamó. Entiendo que el crossover con Ghost no haya sido gran cosa, pero este fue asombroso. Una aventura como sucede en las novelas con un narrador incorpóreo para dar ambiente en algunas escenas, pero esto se utilizó tan poco frecuente que no me molestó.
Las secuencias de combate me recuerdan a algo que haría Warren Ellis. Muchas me tomaron por sorpresa y otras me quedé contemplando por varios minutos.
El trato de ambos personajes fue sencillamente perfecto, cada uno actuó como debió y se le dio su protagonismo. Tanto investigando como en escenas de acción. La verdad hubiera pedido más contenido, pero por miedo a perder esta percepción, es mejor dejarlo así.
