Wow. Not at all what I thought it was going to be. I knew it'd be about sailing ships and some kind of piracy encounters. Thanks to my Father-in-law, I got to read a really cool classic piece of literature. The language used is time-transporting, and the whole tone of the book is hair-raising and knuckle gripping. Just fantastic! Now I want to watch a bunch of old pirate movies!

This is the second time reading one of Reed Fulton's books, and I was honestly impressed with this story. I recently read his Mystery of the Canyon Dam, and I highly recommend that book as well. I really like how Reed Fulton makes me want to read the next chapter because there is so much suspense between chapters. I also like how all of his chapters are about 12 pages long. Nice little chapters, full of interesting parts that make up one amazing story!
