Tora Moon writes all genres of fantasy and especially loves to write stories which allow the reader to journey into worlds full of magic and escape their ordinary lives for a time. Ancient cultures and religions, mythology, and folklore fascinate her and find their way into her stories.

Besides reading, some of her hobbies are sewing, crocheting, and making wire-wrapped jewelry. Her love of travel has taken her to several countries and saw her living in an RV for several years. She makes her home in the southwestern desert with her feline companion.

Tora Moon has written a brilliant second book to a fantasy series about the land of Lairheim which is split up in clans all headed by a male and female alpha, the men are shapeshifters and warriors and the women are divided by the colour of eyes and hair into different abilities and talents. The land is being continuously threatened by monsters and the clans have been fighting these monsters for over a thousand years to keep the posairs safe. However the monsters are evolving, as the fighting teams gain a new insight how to fight these monsters, they in turn develop a new way of fighting, suddenly they are no longer adhering to their normal patterns and according to Rizelya they are being led by an intelligence which held a consuming hate, and desired the obliteration of the posairs, every last man, woman and child. Who was controlling the janacks and why was Rizelya the only one to hear the humming and feel the pain when the janek is killed, and be tormented by the evil dreams? Rizelya a strong courageous red fighter, newly appointed alpha of a very small pack might have to take on a more important role if the posairs and Larheim is to be saved!! Breath taking reading, leaves us hanging and wanting more from the next book!!

Nice introduction to a very different world!

Great story! Continuous development of the characters and the plot. The story follows the metamorphosis of the reluctant Rizelya as she becomes a leader and the key to the future. As the story progresses, we learn about the world in which she lives. There is plenty of action interspersed with character growth and development. This is also a great story of the next generation making their mark on their society.

Ancient enemies - The Malversation Monsters and a never ending war. Rizelya and her pack fight the montsters, successfully as they encounter them, until a new type of monster shows up. There are more monsters now then ever before. I loved the 1st book in the THE MALVERSATION WAR series.
So much, That I purchased the next 2, before I finished the first. An epic fantasy, with wonderful characters and story. This is a fantasy that shouldn't be. missed.

Exciting

This book is so well written. The characters are diverse and well developed. Powerful talents, battles, courageous warriors. It is an epic struggle between good and evil. I could not put it down until I finished the last page. I highly recommend this book. Now I am looking forward to the next book.

Tora Moon has written a great piece of fantasy here.

The author is new to me and this book was a perfect surprise. World building, character development, plot structure and finely crafted sentences that allow the reader to easily visualize the fictitious world make this book a great read.

Her magic filled world, the colorful cast of unique characters and the specter of terrifying monsters will keep you reading this page turner into the wee hours of the night.
