Imagine meeting the man of your dreams in the form of a Mob Boss. That's exactly what happens when the beautiful, plus sized British Bryant crosses paths with the Boss of the Demonte Crime Family.
Don Corleone is ruthless yet gentle when it comes to British. From the moment he laid eyes on her he became obsessed with getting to know her better and bringing her into his world. Meanwhile, British can't accept that he wants a girl like her. In her opinion, men don't go for big girls like her but Corleone will show her why she's the chosen one and weight don't mean nothing to him.
Corleone's brothers Dominic and Lucciano stand beside him through thick or thin and take their family business serious. They live by their own code "Loyalty or Death. Not even family is exempt from losing their life when it comes to crossing the Demonte Brothers. With so many enemies out to kill them they'll need strong women to hold them down while they take care of business.
British, Katera, and Chloe have all been thrusted into the Black Mafia lifestyle and have proved that they are more than worthy of being the Mob Wives that Corleone, Dominic, and Lucci need. However, they never knew loving this men would be such a hard job before they became Married to The Mob.
Mz Lady P never disappoints me with her books. This one here was a good one. The Demonte brothers are force to be reckoned with. Can't wait to see what happens in part 2.
This book has been on my to be read list for a long time, and I am glad that I finally got the chance to read it. I was all into the story from the very beginning. My head was literally spinning from all the twists and turns. The Demonte Crime Family brothers are nothing but the truth and not the ones to be messed with. Dysfunction at its best. Drama with a capital "D". British has definitely met her match with Don Corleone. Now that I am all into the story, I'm going to have to finish the series. My to be read list is getting longer and longer. #UIP
OMGosh! **inserts squeal**. My head is literally spinning from all of the action. At first I was a little skeptical because I could not relate to the meeting of Corleone and British but Baby when I say immediately my mind was changed. This book is the bomb.com. Every time something popped off, before that was settled another something popped off. I've been at the edge of everything, the bed, the chair, the table reading this damn book. A GREAT read is an understatement. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
You never disappoint us die hard fans. This book was captivating from the beginning. It was definitely refreshing to see such a twist on lies, decor, and loyalty. I'm really anticipating how part to will unfold with so much going on especially that cliffhanger
I absolutely loved it and I really like Mz.Lady P took a different route with this... how she incorporated mental illness and domestic issues..... But I'm not going to lie I was waiting for that Thug to pop up cuz I just love him but until part 2....
British was a girl who had everything but a lot of friends & that did not bother her. Now she has met the man of her life Corleone. He seems to be smitten with her and soon wants her to be his she is not use this so her mom takes steps to get her to go for it. Chloe is with Dom and he loves her. She finally finds outp about his disease but is willing to be there for him. She has no choice he won't let her leave. Now Lucci & Katera goes through a lot. Lucci finally decides he want to make sure that she is hism. Now that all have their women but things are starting to get bad. Their dad is up to no good as well as Corleone wife family. Will things get crazier now that British has some unsuspected news? Also how will things play out when Corleone finds out what it is? So ready for part 2 to see how this is gonna go cause this about to get crazy for real. Loved it.
Okay, where do I start I read a couple of review about British being weak, I must agree. If I have one complaint it would be about her falling in line with Corleone ever demands. So Annoying! I like that Corleone was a Savage don't get wrong he well written. Oh. Talk about secrets that family have more secrets than the Trump presidency!
***Spoiler Alert***
I'm a little disgusted that her father turned out to Angelo Scarelli. Fucking your half sister husband is very disgusting to me. Therefore, the reason I'm going to hit past on part 2,3. Sorry that's a pet peeves for me. I just can't read a book that have brothers, sisters, cousin exchanging bodily fluids, it gross me out. Just the thought of her stepson being her nephew YUCK! I just can't. If anyone can get pass that it's a fun book to read. Not so much for
I listened to the Married to the Mob series on Audible. The GREATEST thing was it was included in my Audible membership. I did not have to use one credit.
I loved this series. I am supposed to be listening to the Book of the Month for the Shades of Pink Book Club on Facebook but Married to the Mob has me in a damn choke hold. This series is good all the way through. You will be happy that you made the decision to partake in the series.
I love the way each book of the series leaves you wanting more. At the end of every book you'll be like Gosh Damn!
Good Job Mz. Lady P. The Married to the Mob series is a GREAT read. You kept me engaged the whole way through.
If you are looking for a book club full on melanin check out The Shades of Pink Book Club on Facebook.
This was a long-winded story. Everyone had a monologue that was at least a page in length. Sometimes it's good for the reader to find out what a character is thinking on their own.
It's almost as if Lady P was insulting our intelligence by explaining every situation and why the characters thought this way. In some cases the same story was explained multiple times. (sigh)
It started off smart then it somehow became idiotic. I fell asleep multiple times reading this story. It was an ok read just became monotonous towards the middle of the story.
The Black Mob is alive and well and absolutely funny as hell. British, Chloe and Katera have their work cut out for them with Corleon,Dom and Lucci. The story ,the side characters, the tiger and yes I said tiger will stick with you long after the story had ended and it’s 100% worth it. Please note this story is very urban so the grammar and usage of slang and certain words is common in the black urban community keep that in mind as you read.
It was clearly shown during the course of "Married To The Mob" that if even talk about ratting out the Black mafia, aka, the Demonte Family, to the police, the consequence of your actions will be death and will be carried out swiftly. For other offenses, a beat down, car bomb, or death by pet tiger will suffice. Loyalty or death! Welcome to the Black mafia, British!
I was all in from the beginning! Each page had me wanting more! Black Mob Love and Loyalty! British makes the perfect compliment to Corleone! I truly love all the couples and between Don and Lucci hard to tell who's mentally challenged in a humorous way! No disrespect! The Moms each have a story I would like to read about just an idea Mz.Lady P! That cliffhanger is where I end this! Part 2 here I come! Catch up everyone this is a good 1!!!
Too unrealistic and I have noticed with this author, the men ALWAYS have control AND are abusive. 😑😑 I didn't finish reading (at 49%) because it read like a fairytale that made no sense and was too predictable, with the SAME "Urban" storyline!😩😩😩 Therefore, Not looking forward to Part 2.......👎
The Demonte men are crazy and there’s so many secrets. British is about all the Bull just like her boo Carlione. Momma dearest is a entire gangster and now what the heck is Luciano up too? Mz. Lady P has my entire attention on this because I usually only read about my boo Thug and corporated lol
This book started off great and did have me LOL in part. But British turned submissive way tooooo fast in my opinion. Plus why was Chloe still part of this story after Dom put his hands on her? Mental health is no excuse to stay. I started to loose interest after that as can’t condone it. Undecided if I’ll read book 2.
Dang How did I know about British dad. I knew he was a big time bc her mom was too private!!. Oh lord this was a good read. Now im on the edge of my seat waiting on part 2. That Dad man... Oh wow..
This was a straight banger!!!! I love the brothers with their crazy selves... Their father must go... I love their women especially British and her mom... I had a feeling old dude was her father... I need part two ASAP!!!!
Mz lady p never dissapoints these brothers are a mess corleone isn't to be played with love the action, drama and the suspense wow the ending this is gone get even crazier off to part 2 couldn't stop reading i know this series is fire.
This book is crazy. All the twist will have your head spinning and wanting to read more. The Corleone family play no games when it comes to one another. Can't wait to start book 2
This book was so good I just couldn't put it down I finished it in one day!!! All of the good stuff I had heard about this book were all true don't miss out!!! Definitely a page turner!!!
I don't know if this book was worth 5 stars. I mean I was sucked in and at the same time, I wanted to just toss it and keep it moving. Hopefully the next book is way better.
How are the head of the mob where trust should always be an issue see a person twice and immediately tell all of your darkest secrets the entire inner workings of an organization that could have you dead or in jail for life
Girl I love every book I have read by you. I already know when you put out a book it's gone be fye!!! These brothers here are something else lol. Lucci has me hot tho. British has her work cut out for her.
This story had me weak! It was so good and funny. I could not put it down. It has several pov regarding their lives in the mob. So good! Great character development. Im already vested in this family.
Omg!!!!! I am flabbergasted! Ms. Lady P never disappoints I’ve been reading her books for years and she is definitely one of my number one authors. This is a must read and I can not wait for part 2! Don’t second guess the book people just read it.
