As this volume begins, members of the LDS Church are coping with the U.S. government s implementation of martial law and the aftermath of the Salt Lake City earthquake.

Many Saints have found refuge and safety at mountain camps, but many others are coping with other natural disasters and civil disturbances that continue to plague the nation s cities.

Meanwhile, a convoy of United Nations peacekeepers is making its way to Utah to assist in the full invasion of the United States by the Coalition forces, which will spark World War III.

Within these events, members of the Foster and Shaw families face seemingly insurmountable obstacles as they travel northward to help establish a new temporary headquarters of the Church. Miracles happen, lives are saved, and the veil becomes thinner as these Saints prepare to fully establish Zion.

Days of Fury, the third volume in the Times of Turmoil series, gives readers an exciting close-up look at the prophesied events that must occur before the Savior s Second Coming.

About the author

Chad Guy Daybell was born August 11, 1968 in Provo, Utah. He married Tamara "Tammy" Douglas in Manti, Utah on March 9, 1990. After graduating from Brigham Young University in 1992 with a B.A. in journalism,Daybell worked as a cemetery sexton, before establishing end of days publisher Spring Creek Book Company, in 2004, with his wife, a graphic artist and manager. Chad and Tammy had 5 children: Garth, Emma, Seth, Leah, and Mark.

In 2015, Chad Daybell allegedly twice heard a voice telling him to relocate to Rexburg, Idaho; he and Tammy moved there from Springville, Utah that June. Tamara passed away on October 20, 2019. Chad Daybell married Lori Vallow on November 5, 2019 in Hawaii.

Daybell was convicted of three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Tammy Daybell, his late wife, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, his current wife's two children.

On May 30, 2024, Chad was found guilty of all charges related to the deaths of his first wife and of Lori's children. On June 1, 2024, he was sentenced to death.

Another chapter in these character's lives that kept me turning the pages. It really does make you wonder how you would handle your self in that situation. Which is an important question to ask.

In this final volume of TIMES OF TURMOIL, the scene shifts to a UN Peacekeeping force that is moving from California eastward, whose agenda is not peacekeeping, but subjugation under a new order, which will spark WWIII. Salt Lake City has suffered an earthquake and terrible flooding, and the church headquarters have been temporally moved to Idaho. The families of the protagonists continue to face terrible obstacles as they try to reach and help the leaders of the Church.

In my opinion, the whole series was just "okay."

This isn't great writing, incredible dialog or an amazing plot. It some places it is just downright corny, BUT....I like reading Chad's books. I love the imagination combined with topics that are interesting to me. These books are fun, quick reads.
