This is the 4th book in the SEALs of Honor action and romance mystery series. It is Eva and Swede’s story. Swede watched the other SEALs fall one by one, even as murder got in the way of love… But his turn for love had yet to come. Swede hoped that he’d be lucky enough to find the perfect partner but knew it wasn’t going to happen while deep in the wilds of Mexico hunting a rebel training camp. Until a group of civilians showed up in the middle of their operation and he found out that the one person he’d known to be the wrong woman for him – was right in the middle of it. Eva had always loved animals, especially those in need. When a friend requested help moving a large group of horses from Mexico to their new homes, she jumped at it. And landed in trouble. With Swede, an old frenemy determined to extricate her. As he worked to keep her safe, she struggled to protect her heart. Only the rebels had plans of their own – and it didn’t involve a happy ending for either of them.
Shadow
Shadow’s life has been an uphill struggle. No wonder he’s so damn good at dealing with the hard, the difficult, and the dangerous. Shadow’s all about being a SEAL. The one world he’s comfortable in. He knows what he can do, when to do it, and how to do it … until he sets off on a mission to rescue Arianna and her family, and his world goes from controlled action to chaos. Who knew women like her existed? Arianna struggles to deal with the foreign world she’s been plunged into. Kidnappings, beatings, threats. SEALs. The only good thing is the darkest, most dangerous-looking saviour she’s ever met. And he doesn’t know what to do with her. Well, she has a good idea, but will they get that chance? Not if the kidnappers have anything to say about it. Arianna has been marked for extinction, and it’s up to Shadow to save her … before it’s too late and he loses something he had no idea he wanted in the first place … but now he can’t live without.
Cooper
The doctor saved Cooper’s life and his sanity – but she stole his heart. Being a SEAL means everything to Cooper, so when the doctor who saved his life is kidnapped, he’s the first to volunteer for the mission. Dr. Sasha Childs has devoted her life to helping others – until she finds out her husband is helping himself to her best friend. Disillusioned, she volunteers her medical skills to a Syrian refugee camp crying out for medical aid. She’s completely unaware that a war is brewing around her – until she’s caught in the middle of it… Cooper has his hands full rescuing Sasha from foreign hands the first time, but when the war comes home, it becomes damn near impossible to keep her safe a second time. He’s been blessed with one miracle in his life, now he needs a second one – before the woman he loves becomes a casualty of war…

Swede: Delightfully exciting story. Eva and Swede have been dancing around each other for years, but when Eva is in danger, only Swede will do to save her. On a horse rescue mission to Mexico, Eva and her helpers run into trouble with the Rebel Army. Swede and his team are there to find the rebel leader. Action, danger, twists and turns add to the anticipation throughout this story.
Shadow: I loved Shadow’s story. When the team is sent to Canada to rescue a Senator and his family, Shadow expects it to me a normal mission. Arianna, the senator’s daughter, hopes they will be rescued, but after a while, her hopes are dashed. When Shadow and Arianna first meet, the sparks are definitely there and Shadow’s life will never be the same. Lots of action, danger and betrayal in this wonderful storyline, which keeps your interest from start to finish. A few twists at the end add to your enjoyment.
Cooper: The team is sent to rescue some doctors who have been kidnapped from a refugee camp in Turkey. One of them, Dr Sasha Childs, is the doctor who operated and saved Cooper's life when he was injured on a previous mission. He has had a crush on her for quite a while, but would not act upon it as she was married. When he finds out that she is divorced, nothing will stop him from making her his! Fast-paced story, filled with action and danger. This is another great story.
Swede had watched his brothers in arms fall for their perfect women and just hoped one day he would be as lucky. He then pushed those thoughts away as he was on a mission in Mexico watching a rebel camp only to stumble upon a group of civilians - including the one woman he thought was wrong for him. Eva had a long time love of animals and so when a friend asked her to come help move some suffering horses from Mexico to new homes she felt she couldn't refuse. However, she finds herself in trouble until she sees Swede who is determined to keep her safe and extract her from the danger no matter the personal cost. Can she protect her heart and can they beat the rebel's plan which will not be a happy ending for either of them?
This was a powerful story which included lots of danger and drama as they fought to save the animals, each other and found something perfect at the same time. I loved the way it wasn't a simple matter of boy and girl meet in a dangerous scenario and after a miraculous escape, they lived happily ever after. Instead, it was more difficult as Eva needed a lot of persuasions to go with her hidden feelings and they needed compromise, in the end, to find a way forward. Well written I liked the exploration of their emotions and feelings.
Shadow - 4*
Shadow has ignored the uphill struggle of life concentrating instead of being a great SEAL until he has to go and rescue Arianna and her family when his world goes from controlled to chaos. Arianna struggles to cope with the world of kidnappings and beatings that she has been plunged into although there is one very good thing (or person) - the darkest and most dangerous saviour she has ever met. Shadow has no idea what to do with her, although she has a few ideas - however she is marked for elimination and he has to save her before he loses something he had no idea he wanted in the first place, and now he realises he can't live without. Can he save her?
This is a great story with a dark and dangerous SEAL not realising what he has until almost the last moment. It had lots of drama, danger and excitement as he fought to save Arianna. A sweet story even if there were times I seriously wanted to cuff him around the head and explain the way things were developing between them both. A great HEA at the end to make you feel all gooey. Well written and enjoyable.
Cooper - 4*
Dr. Sasha Childs saved committed SEAL Cooper's life and stole his heart, but as a married woman, he knew nothing could happen. However, when he hears that she is kidnapped he is the first to volunteer to go and rescue her. Sasha has devoted her life to helping others but when he finds her husband in bed with her best friend, she knows everything is over. Feeling unsettled she volunteers as a medic in a Syrian refugee camp in order to pull her life together. With his hands full rescuing Sasha once. when back in the US it becomes almost impossible to save her from them a second time. But with this miracle in his life, he has to do whatever it takes to save the woman he loves before it is too late.
This was very much a mystery as Cooper and Sasha tried to find out why she was kidnapped and to try and have a chance at a future together. There was a lot of drama and intrigue as they worked their way through the mysteries that they were faced with. It was a sweet love story that like the previous book in the series was a bit frustrating as Cooper struggled to catch on that she really wanted him. It was great when they eventually had the HEA they needed even though I found it a little frustrating the way the story ended a little abruptly (missing out what happened to those who had kidnapped her in the end). On the whole, well written and very enjoyable.
There can't be anything more disconcerting to a SEAL team doing recon, than to be spotted by a civilian who shouldn't be able to see them at all.
Swede and Shadow were checking out the outer perimeter of a terrorist training camp in Mexico, when they were surrounded by horses. These horses were rescues being rounded up by a group to transport them to new homes in the US. I probably shouldn't have been as amused as I was but dang it was funny.
What was even more amusing to me was when the guys were all together and Swede and Shadow finally realize who it was that saw them. Hawk's sister Eva, who should be home tending her own horses was here in Mexico with those civilians rounding up these horses.
A tense situation that just became very complicated. Swede gets sent in to play Eva's fiancé with whom she had fought before coming on this rescue trip. So in spite of the seriousness of the situation I found myself giggling more than a few times.
Plenty of suspense, some out loud laughs and sizzling heat as Swede and Eva realize they are meant to be together.
Shadow - Book 5
As the men of Mason's team find a woman that can deal with all that comes with loving a SEAL, the few remaining single men wonder if they will find love too.
This mission is high profile, a Senator and his family being held hostage at their vacation cabin in Canada. With all the windows it's a challenge to find a way to approach without being seen.
Arianna and her brother have been sent to bed, and they hear the awful sounds of her father being beaten and told to comply. Knowing they have to get out of there not only for Kevin but also to prevent these men from touching her Arianna searches out the window for her options.
Shadow is successful in getting Arianna and her brother out of the second floor window as the rest of the team prepares to get the Senator and his wife. Of course this isn't going to be easy.
Arianna saves Shadow and takes a bullet to her leg, and things just get more complicated as they head to extraction.
Apparently Arianna is a target and when they fail to get her out they are all still in danger.
So much action, suspense and intrigue as this story unfolds, Shadow's admiration for Arianna and her understanding of the situation will just make you love them more.
A page-turning read you won't want to miss.
Cooper - Book 6
This book is one of my favorites in the series so far. It stands to reason that when the doctor who saved his life is one of four medical personnel kidnapped, Cooper would want, no need to be involved in the rescue.
What they find is a tense situation and they need to move quickly or lose the opportunity to get to them before they are transported elsewhere by water.
Stubborn and now divorced, Dr. Sasha is more than a little temptation for Cooper. Even stateside it seems there is going to be trouble, and lots of it.
Fast-paced, intriguing, with plenty of action and sizzle. Don't miss this book!
These Seals are to die for when they fall, they fall hard!
It's Swede's story and boy is he surprised when he and Shadow are spotted, by an unrecognizable woman on a horse, when they are on a mission in Mexico.
Eva's on a rescue mission in Mexico - a horse rescue mission. Unwittingly she and her counterparts have stumbled upon a rebel team who are testing the waters and their men.
Everything goes sideways when the first load of horses is shipped out, leaving few women and a load of horses. Luckily Swede and his team are in the vicinity and are able to put Swede in play without raising any suspicions.
Such fun to 'watch' yet another of the Seal team succumb to love!
Shadow Oh I love Shadow! He's so alone and doesn't think he's good enough for anyone or that anyone could love him...this only becomes more uncomfortable as the brothers in his team find their perfect match.
The team is out to rescue a senator and his family who have gone on a vacation.
Arianna invited herself on the vacay since her step brother woukd be there and she wants to show him her grandfather's cabin and how wonderful it is.
The vacation takes a turn south when they are held hostage in the cabin. Her father is not one to bend to pressure to change his mind on votes...but what if family was threatened?
Arianne knows the kidnappers will hurt her so she has to save herself and her brother. When she spots Shadow, not only is he surprised that she sees him, she sends a message that they are trapped and need help.
Cooper He is so honourable, falling in love with someone and walking away because they are married. To then be called in to rescue her from terrorists in a refugee camp.
Cooper met Dr Sasha when he was in to be fixed, she was a spitfire and rode him hard to work at getting better.
Dr Sasha is at a refugee camp in Turkey to help where she is needed. She and three other doctors are capture and taken only to be rescued by Cooper's team. Now they are even!
Once they are back on American soil they are still not safe.Trying to figure out what, why and who becomes muddled when her ex comes into the picture.
When Sasha and Cooper are taken, the team needs to get two of their team back.

it was amazing
Read on December 24, 2016
Eva has had training even though she hasn't been in the forces, both her father and her brother Hawk wanted her to be safe and know how to look after herself. It sure pays off in this knuckle duster of a story, its tense and suspenseful. A lot of twists and turns and trying to guess who the baddies are. It is great to get more of Eva as well as Swede, Hawk as well. I love this group of Seals their honour, humour, strength as well as the way they are not ashamed to admit or show when they have fallen for "the One". The interaction between them all and the way they work so well together just sensing or knowing without a word to do whatever needs doing. I like that this series is action packed and not mainly sex, what sex there is not to explicit or overlong. Don't get me wrong lots of sex in the right books can be great but this series is not about that side of it, its more showing they care by protection. I love that there is some mystery to the stories, they keep you on edge a bit which keeps it interesting and guessing to the end. But mostly I love the thoughtfulness of all the main characters male and female, I also hope we may at some point get more of the women characters interacting with each other as well as alone with the team.

it was amazing
Read from December 25 to 26, 2016
Shadow comes across as the quiet more lonely of the seal team, he has perfected the blending in with the scenery and not being seen either on ops or in home life. His background appears to be troubled and I must admit I would have liked a bit more detail on this, why, what and how? But all we get is vague. Scouting out the scene of possible location for kidnap victims being held something unexpected happens. Arianna is trying to be calm, cool and collected. Her whole family have been taken hostage, for what or why she doesn't know. Mainly worried for her younger brother she knows they need a way to get out. Signalling silently from a window she can only hope someone is watching and will get help. Strong and independent, growing up lonely she has done her best for her brother not to suffer the same. Action all the way as we are used to with these guys, it is great to see Shadow a bit lost for words and not really sure how to deal with this situation. What he does know is he wants the one thing he has never had, the one thing his mates are slowly finding for themselves. In some ways this man broke my heart, even surrounded by his team he was often off on his own though still working in time with them. He seemed to have no-one but them and it didn't seem as though he was much of a dater, not even that many one night stands like the others had in the past. He seemed flummoxed that anyone would want him or care, let alone love. I still enjoy all the joking and teasing these guys give each other, oh and we finally get more of Cooper as well since he is allowed now back on active service. Lots of twists and turns, suspense, action and some violence all play their part in this story. But it is the instant connection Shadow and Arianna have that filled my heart with joy, that maybe he would end up having something special, someone to call his own.

it was amazing
Read from December 26 to 28, 2016
Cooper had really been through a lot, a serious injury almost finished his military career. He was saved and pushed into his re-hab by Dr Sasha, finding out she has gone missing means he needs to be part of the team looking for her. Knowing she was married means she is off limits in regards anything other than saving her and being friends. Tense and suspenseful story, with emotions also high. From a Turkey medical clinic to the USA and a list of suspects and victims to keep you on edge from beginning to end. This is a bit more serious than the other books in this series, not quite so much of the light hearted banter between the men. We also get a bit more of the other seal team members that we haven't seen yet, only heard their names a few times. Very enjoyable considering the very serious content matter, the subject is something we see and hear of every day in our news feeds, so scary to think about if you are the type of person to want to do this type of work. For a fictional story on a very real problem Dale has done an awesome job of telling it.
SWEDE Swede a love for a Seal’s sister a big no, the heart didn’t agree, did Eva feel the same, keeping it hidden also. The Seals were on a mission to stop a rebel training camp, taking the commander out, so they wouldn’t regroup. Finding she was also in Mexico and in the midst of this trouble. With her friend April to rescue horses and bring to the states. Good plot where nothing went as planned, and Swede trying to keep Eva quiet and safe. SHADOW My Favorite. A loner, invisible in life and on a mission. Until Adrianna comes into his life and opens the blackness. A mission that was two fold, and figuring out what the next move was going to be was one attack after another, of surprises with the plans being changed. Delightful to read. COPPER Sasha takes off to the Syrian refugee camp, to heal and regain her purpose in life. So busy she is unaware of terrorists and the war around her. A kidnapping of the three medical people, with answers of why, and the obstacles to get them out. Returning to be abducted again, and calling Cooper. A good plot and Sasha and Cooper deciding what they want in life.
EVA AND SWEDE Horses to be rescued and a stubborn woman. The poor Seal has his work cut out for him. Throw terrorists in The mix and it becomes lethal. Dangerous deceptions that baffles the Seal team. All's well that ends well SHADOW AND ARIANNA A sweet girl who was kidnapped along with her family. In comes the Seals to the rescue. And the man who lives in shadows fell flat out for her, but doesn't think he deserves her COOPER AND SASHA A hot Seal and a feisty doctor. Terrorists in a refugee camp. Dr is kidnapped twice in one day. Cooper has a crush on her. She was the Dr who saved his life. The scrapes and adventures all these women get into, just so their Seals can rescue them All these men treasure the women they've found.
This is the second box set in the SEALs of Honor series, a fantastic set of standalone romantic military action stories. I was totally caught up in these books and couldn't stop reading. Which is why I enjoy box sets with their continual flow of events. In this case it's The Keepers, a SEAL team that one by one finds their perfect match, and goes through tough times to keep her. It's non-stop action, with plenty of bad guys and dangerous missions. I can't wait to get into set three.
I don't know how she does it but she has dome it again 3 more must read's. These heroes and heroines are extremely well written and developed perfect matches. I have enjoyed every single second of this series. I loved the humor and action in each and every one. They all have very different scenario's that require the SEAL team to come to their aide. The heroine's are not damsel's in distress they're tuff as nails and willing to fight for the safety of the team and their selves.
I found this box-set (BK's 4-6) stories to be a better read than the last box-set (BK's 1-3) and am glad I kept going. I'm hoping the next set will be even better, which I shall be starting as soon as I finish this review. Read the blurb, if you enjoyed the 1st box-set, then you'll really enjoy this set. I also found that binge reading this series has made me more invested in each of the character's, and left me wanting more. All in all a good read. I downloaded this for free a while ago and am voluntarily doing this review.
Wow, three great stories. Swede, a big teddy bear with the skills of a great warrior. Saving the boy and his sister was amazing. Shadow, silent and deadly. It took a good woman to see into his heart. Cooper, saw a woman who he wanted, but she was taken. Then fate brought them together and gave them the happiness they deserved. Can't wait to read more of the series.
I have enjoyed the series 1-6 set.looking forward to the rest of the series.it had action romance and suspense.Strong characters and strong women in all the series I've read.
I gave a 5rating because I have enjoyed reading the series.characters are strong both the men and women.I recommend it to my friends
A continuation of stories about the lives and loves of the men who are part of the Seals of Honor. Each Seal has his own harrowing adventure loaded with action and suspense. During each of these stories, a Seal meets his soul mate and how they overcome danger and finally reach a happy ever after.
I'm really enjoying this series. Shadow's book was my absolute favorite of this box set and probably the series. Eva, Arianna & Sasha are all strong women, they all stand on their own and are also open to and want true love. Always the team and the MCs must fight to get and keep their love.
Hero’s and Seals . They are seal brothers. These books are full of excitement, action, hot scenes and suspense. Every one of them you wish he was your friend. Kidnappings, threats and rescues are what they specialise in. If you are in trouble you want them to rescue you. I swooned over all of them. This is a moment out of your real world in to your imagination. I enjoyed them very much.
5 stars for Seals of Honor: Books 4-6 by Dale Mayer
A great way to read an amazing series is by a box set. Intriguing and suspenseful. Great storylines. Amazing hot alpha seals with smart and sexy heroines. Loved reading the love stories of Swede and Eva, Shadow and Arianna and Cooper and Sasha. Can't wait for the next instalment of Seals of Honor.
This is a great series to get. I have a few more books in this series to get yet. I am waiting for the price to go down however. If you like seals and the romance with action, this is a great series.
I have already reviewed Swede and Shadow. This is a review of Cooper. This book has the same great characters with focus on Cooper. An exciting book, full of suspense! All 3 are totally entertaining and emotionally satisfying. :)
These books are full of action and the romance is heartwarming. The men know what they want and are willing to be honest about it. The women are strong and more than a match for a seal. They don't play games either. It's how love should be.
Second set of stand-alone books in this series. Dangerous situations and strong characters. SEALs realizing life needs more than an adrenaline rush. Love that the women are not “just” victims!
I love the suspense and trouble these guys and their heroines get into. Dale has done great work with this series. Very descriptive characters and scenes. I got to follow the same group of characters through their individual stories. Just loved them.
Ok so that’s one team completed now on to the next so enjoying the adventure and wicked characters in this series sting honourable dedicated and the men are pretty fit too 🤣💖💖
Dale Mayer continues SEALs of Honor with three more hot guys becoming part of the 'keepers'. More action packed romance, more heat, more seriously bad, bad guys and love true love!
Three over-the-top men and the trials they have to go through to keep their women. Great stories. Good romance. Lots of action. Love the humor and comradery between the guys in the team. Wish we could see a bit of the interaction between the women of the group (maybe a novella?)
This series is outstanding! Each book is gripping from the beginning to the end. Although b you can read as stand alone books everything seems to make more sense as they build on each other in a loose way. All I can say is don't miss the series!
These men are sigh worthy. Swede & Eva get you laughing with their banter & battle of wills. My Fav couple Shadow & Ari made my heart melt. Seeing shadow flustered was so heartwarming. Cooper finally getting Sasha after a crazy adventure was entertaining. So good as always!
Thoroughly enjoyed these books very well written and the plots are very well done. There is seriousness and laughter in all of them and I would definitely recommend these books to anyone who enjoys a good read.
Fantastic read! I couldn't put this book down until I found out what happened. There was plenty of action and the heroine was someone I could connect with. To say nothing of the hunky Seals helping her.
Love this series so far. The Keepers are finding their happy ever after. Lots of intrigue, danger, and protecting hostages who end up as mates. Great story lines.
