Coming Home

Rate this book
I had two passions in my life, music, and Cade West. When I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime to attend Julliard on full scholarship, I took it. I thought I could have it all, Cade on the other hand had other plans. At eighteen years old we went our separate ways. While I pursued music, he shipped out to Iraq. We went from being best friends, and lovers to complete strangers over the course of six years. With school behind me, I packed up my shiny new music degree, and my boyfriend, and drove back home to Sweet Water, Alabama. What I wasn't prepared for was seeing Cade again, and the feelings that came along with him. I thought coming home was what I needed, but maybe it wasn't home that I was searching for.

I fell in love with this story. Boy and girl fall in love at young age. The ups and downs they go thru keeps you second guessing is he going to run ? Can she handle the emotional Rollercoaster ride she is on. I have really enjoyed this book so far I can't wait to read book 2.

Needs proofreading by an English teacher!

Book was typical: girl gets boy, girl looses boy, girl wins boy's heart in the end. Proofreader must've had the day off when this one slipped thru. Too many times author uses 'I seen' for 'I saw' & 'bail' for 'bale'; 'sole' for 'soul', etc. Story was OK, just needed reviewing before it was printed.

This is a good story, its a second chance romance. I liked the fact that the couple get back together quite quickly in the story and there is no cheating.
They look into the reasons they broke up and deal with lots of issues but they are loyal to each other and deal with difficulties together even though it isn't a smooth road.
There are other people mentioned which seems to lead in to the next book in the series.
